Hi,
I want to select a view from my sys user, but with other connection. I need to select view DBA_USERS. Is there any way of doing so? I am new in Oracle, so maybe it is silly question, but still, I have no idea how to do it.
I am using sqlcmd in a T-SQl script to write a text file to a network location. However SQLCMD is failing to write to that location due to access permission to the network folder. SP is being run under my user account which has access to the network folder.
Could you please help me under which account sqlcmd will run if I do not specify -U and -P option in TSQL Script?
I am trying to write a file to a network drive from my asp.Net application and i get this error - Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password. Any ideas?
I am able to write to a local drive line C:/temp
But when I try to save the file to a network drive such as \Server\Folder, I get the error mentioned above.
Any ideas people?

I have been put on to a project using Nuxeo, late in it's lifecycle and need to change a few things before it goes live.
I am having trouble finding out where I need to look to lock down a Nuxeo based application so that a user is redirected to the login page if they are unauthorised and access a restricted page.
Can someone please shoot my some direction on where this sort of logic is kept or defined?
Hi
I'm looking for a straight forward list(with any notable information to match the point) of the separate processes involved from initiating the request object to the user seeing the end result in AJAX?
Thanks.
My JSF form login was working with Constraint 1 however when I added Constraint 2 to my web.xml doing a submit on the form now takes me to a jsf javascript page. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?
I would like only administrators to be able to access the /admin/* pages and only registered users to access the entire site included admin files. BTW after I see the java script page I can still navigate to the intended page in the browser, I just don't want the user to see the intermediate js page or need to know the target page URL.
Constraint 1
<security-constraint>
<display-name>Admin</display-name>
<web-resource-collection>
<url-pattern>/admin/*</url-pattern>
</web-resource-collection>
<auth-constraint>
<role-name>ADMIN</role-name>
</auth-constraint>
</security-constraint>
Constraint 2
<security-constraint>
<display-name>Users</display-name>
<web-resource-collection>
<url-pattern>/*</url-pattern>
</web-resource-collection>
<auth-constraint>
<role-name>USER</role-name>
</auth-constraint>
</security-constraint>
Here is the undesired url I am being redirected to:
javax.faces.resource/jsf.js.xhtml?ln=javax.faces&stage=Development
Here is the start of the jsf.js.xhtml...

I'm using Firefox 10.0.4, Glassfish 3.1 w JSF2.0 lib, j_security_check, and my login realm setup is similar to this
When accessing a webdav using Windows Explorer (Not IE), the call is redirected thru the svchost.exe process (with webclnt.dll).
When i check get the pid of the process that is connected to the local port, i get the pid of the svchost.exe process.
How can i get the user account that the call was associated to?
I'm using Drupal 6 and its core comment module.
I want to run a custom funcion every time a user posts a comment, but I don't want to mess with the comment.module for obvious reasons.
Is there a practical way I can do this in a custom module? If not, what are the alternatives as I don't want to write my own commenting system.
want to ask user to input something but not want to wait forever. There is a solution for Linux, http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1335507/keyboard-input-with-timeout-in-python, but I am in windows environment. anybody can help me?
Is there a way to invoke a local program in JSP?
for example, to add a button to a jsp page, and when the user press the button the windows calculator app will be opened.
Thanks
I have a download page where i have kept musics, pictures, ebooks and etc. Whenever users click at the image it opens it, and same things happen with .pdf files if the user has installed pdf reader on their PC?
I dont want them to open the file but to download it? Any ideas
I am adding contact functionality to my program, and I want to save the contact list of each individual user, what is the best solution for this? I am new to XML and databases and I don't know which would be best or if there is a database solution that saves locally. Thanks for the help.
I recently acquired a Metrologic Barcode scanner (USB port), as everyone already knows it works as a keyboard emulator out of the box.
How do I configure the scanner and my application so that my app can process the barcode data directly? That is, I don't want the user to focus on a "Text field" and then process the data when the KeyPress event fires.
I need to conditionally load a few nested user controls on a webpage based on a dropdown selection that fires a callback. Is this possible? Are there any best practices for such an approach?
I am looking for a posterous like custom domain management for the users. The user can register a domain and should be able to point their new domain to their sub domain in the web application. Any ideas?
Should I create my own End-User Software License (with a lawyer), or are there some good examples of one on the Internet?
I'm getting close to rolling out my first Windows-based program for my side-business. I would like to have the end-users to agree not to: resell the software, change/modify it, use it in another application, etc.
Any and all help appreciated!
Thanks!

I was using the Fiddler core .Net library as a local proxy to record the user activity in web. However I ended up with a problem which seems dirty to solve. I have a web browser say Google Chrome, and the user opened like 10 different tabs each with different web URLs. The problem is that the proxy records all the HTTP session initiated by each pages separately, causing me to figure out using my intelligence the tab which the corresponding HTTP session belonged to. I understand that this is because of the stateless nature of HTTP protocol. However I am just wondering is there an easy way to do this? I ended up with below c# code for that in Fiddler. Still its not a reliable solution due to the heuristics.
This is a modification of the sample project bundled with Fiddler core for .NET 4. Basically what it does is filtering HTTP sessions initiated in last few seconds to find the first request or switching to another page made by the same tab in browser. It almost works, but not seems to be a universal solution.
Fiddler.FiddlerApplication.AfterSessionComplete += delegate(Fiddler.Session oS)
{
//exclude other HTTP methods
if (oS.oRequest.headers.HTTPMethod == "GET" || oS.oRequest.headers.HTTPMethod == "POST")
//exclude other HTTP Status codes
if (oS.oResponse.headers.HTTPResponseStatus == "200 OK" || oS.oResponse.headers.HTTPResponseStatus == "304 Not Modified")
{
//exclude other MIME responses (allow only text/html)
var accept = oS.oRequest.headers.FindAll("Accept");
if (accept != null)
{
if(accept.Count>0)
if (accept[0].Value.Contains("text/html"))
{
//exclude AJAX
if (!oS.oRequest.headers.Exists("X-Requested-With"))
{
//find the referer for this request
var referer = oS.oRequest.headers.FindAll("Referer");
//if no referer then assume this as a new request and display the same
if(referer!=null)
{
//if no referer then assume this as a new request and display the same
if (referer.Count > 0)
{
//lock the sessions
Monitor.Enter(oAllSessions);
//filter further using the response
if (oS.oResponse.MIMEType == string.Empty || oS.oResponse.MIMEType == "text/html")
//get all previous sessions with the same process ID this session request
if(oAllSessions.FindAll(a=>a.LocalProcessID == oS.LocalProcessID)
//get all previous sessions within last second (assuming the new tab opened initiated multiple sessions other than parent)
.FindAll(z => (z.Timers.ClientBeginRequest > oS.Timers.ClientBeginRequest.AddSeconds(-1)))
//get all previous sessions that belongs to the same port of the current session
.FindAll(b=>b.port == oS.port ).FindAll(c=>c.clientIP ==oS.clientIP)
//get all previus sessions with the same referrer URL of the current session
.FindAll(y => referer[0].Value.Equals(y.fullUrl))
//get all previous sessions with the same host name of the current session
.FindAll(m=>m.hostname==oS.hostname).Count==0 ) //if count ==0 that means this is the parent request
Console.WriteLine(oS.fullUrl);
//unlock sessions
Monitor.Exit(oAllSessions);
}
else
Console.WriteLine(oS.fullUrl);
}
else
Console.WriteLine(oS.fullUrl);
Console.WriteLine();
}
}
}
}
};
