  • How to host 50 domains/sites with common Django code base

    I have 50 different websites that use the same layout and code base, but mostly non-overlapping data (regional support sites, not link farm). Is there a way to have a single installation of the code and run all 50 at the same time? When I have a bug to fix (or deploy new feature), I want to deploy ONE time + 1 restart and be done with it. Also: Code needs to know what domain the request is coming to so the appropriate data is displayed.

If amend the hbm files produced by FNH then the code works. Does anyone know what it's wrong? Thanks in advance.

  • Catchall Router on Exim does not work

    I have setup a catchall router on exim (used as last router): catchall: driver = redirect domains = +local_domains data = ${lookup{*@$domain}lsearch{/etc/aliases}} retry_use_local_part This works perfectly when sending emails locally. However, if I login to my GMail account and send an email to [email protected], then I get an "Unrouteable Address". Thank you for any hints to solve this issue.

    Hello, what is PHP's safest encrypt/decrypt method, in use with MySQL - to store let's say passwords? Of course, not for portal purposes. I want to do little password (domain/mysql/ftp...) storage for whole team online, but I don't want really to endanger our clients' bussinesses. Hash can't be used for obvious reasons (Doesn't really make sense to run rainbow tables every time :D). Any idea?

Then the user goes to another page, and from that page calls my page from a script, like this: <script type="text/javascript" src="http://domain.com/page.aspx?id=6" ></script> But i cant access the cookie when it calls my page, why not? and how to work around it?     I'm working on a background service which needs to ask several users' iTunes settings (the users will opt-in via a helper application which they run from their login). Is there an easy way to read the preferences for another user, than the current one, using CFPreferences? The docs, for example for CFPreferencesCopyValue, explicitly state: 'Do not use arbitrary user and host names, instead pass the pre-defined domain qualifier constants.', when passing the 'userName' argument to the various functions.

I configured apache httpd-vhosts.conf to listen my ip address:80 and added the virtual server with the ip address and domain root to local httdocs directory and the servername as localhost.     I am trying to see if a directory exists based on an input field from the user. When the user types in the path, I want to check if the path actually exists. I have some c# code already.
