    I have an application on my server that is called leaf.exe, that haves two arguments needed to run, they are: inputfile and outputfile, that will be like this example: pnote.exe input.pnt output.txt The executable is at exec/, inputfile is at upload/ and outputfile is on compiled/. But I need that a PHP could run the application like that, then I want to know: How could I do this? How could I echo the output of the program?

    Hi, I'm querying an SQL Server database using SQLAlchemy and need to cast a column to varbinary(max). The thing I am struggling with is the "max" part. I can get the cast to work for any actual number (say varbinary(20)), but I cannot find how to get it to work for the "max" size of the varbinary column. Any pointers? Links? Solutions?     Hi. Researching various open source, web-based document management/version control systems. I've checked google/questions here, etc... I'm looking for a lightweight web-based (apache) document mgmt/version control app that runs on top of SVN. I need to have the ability to: have multiple users checkin/checkout have a workflow (when userA checks the file in, and finishes the app passes it to the next person, etc... the app needs to allow me to have a structure where the files can be moved as a group. the files will be changed on a monthly basis app needs to have a access/premission control system. some people can see certain files, and perform certain actions on the files I imagine that I'm going to have 40-50 people dealing with the different files. I imagine that I'm going to have 2000-3000 files that have to be massaged. I'd prefer that the app be php based if possible, as opposed to a straight java app. Thanks

  • Reading HTTP server push streams with Python

    I'm playing around trying to write a client for a site which provides data as an HTTP stream (aka HTTP server push). However, urllib2.urlopen() grabs the stream in its current state and then closes the connection. I tried skipping urllib2 and using httplib directly, but this seems to have the same behaviour. Is there a way to get the stream to stay open, so it can be checked each program loop for new contents, rather than waiting for the whole thing to be redownloaded every few seconds, introducing lag?

I have the following column IndPL INT DEFAULT 0 NULL I want to change the column to be of the type NVARCHAR but I receive a constraint violation due to the fact that the column has a default value constraint attached to it. I need to find out how to remove a default value constraint from a table column or how to change the column type without impeding the constraint.

    Hello, I'm trying to build a facebook like search for my software. I'd like to query the table customers. I've set up a FULLTEXT Index and tried the next query SELECT * FROM Customer where CONTAINS(*,'*ann*') The query does return all the customers named Ann, but it doesn't return all the customers name Anne. Is there a way to create prefix search on SQL SERVER 2008 using FTS? Thanks.

  • Zend_Auth / Zend_Session error and storing objects in Auth Storage

    Hi All, I have been having a bit of a problem with Zend_Auth and keep getting an error within my Acl. Within my Login Controller I setup my Zend_Auth storage as follows $auth = Zend_Auth::getInstance(); $result = $auth->authenticate($adapter); if ($result->isValid()) { $userId = $adapter->getResultRowObject(array('user_id'), null)->user_id; $user = new User_Model_User; $users = new User_Model_UserMapper; $users->find($userId, $user); $auth->getStorage()->write( $user ); } This seems to work well and I am able to use the object stored in the Zend_Auth storage within View Helpers without any problems. The problem that I seem to be having is when I try to use this within my Acl, below is a snippet from my Acl, as soon as it gets to the if($auth->hasIdentity()) { line I get the exception detailed further down. The $user->getUserLevel() is a methord within the User Model that allows me to convert the user_level_id that is stored in the database to a meaning full name. I am assuming that the auto loader sees these kind of methords and tries to load all the classes that would be required. When looking at the exception it appears to be struggling to find the class as it is stored in a module, I have the Auto Loader Name Space setup in my application.ini.     If I have an UDF that returns a table, with thousands of rows, but I just want a particular row from that rowset, will SQL Server be able to handle this effciently? SELECT * FROM dbo.MyTableUDF() WHERE ID = 1 To what extent is the query optimizer capable of reasoning about this type of query? How are Table-Valued UDFs different from traidtional views if they take no parameters? Any gotchas I should know about?
