Without the doublepage scrollview it is working good. What do you think? What's the problem? I know this structure is a little weird, but I need this structure because other parts of the code. Edited, added the information about the sizes. If you need something more please tell me. And one more thing.. If I add 1 pixel to the width of the doublePage contentSize.width it scrolls, but a bit hard, so it scrolls first in the doublePage and then in the main.

  • Embedded QGraphicsView do not hide after Dialog closes

    I call a QDialog in to modes, showNormal and showFullscreen. In normal mode all works fine. With a Keyevent the Dialog closes as expected. In Fullscreen, after a keyevent the Dialog closes, but the QGraphicsView will stay on top. First of all Im still very new when it comes to Delphi programming and my experience has beem mostly developing small single user database applications using ADO and an Access database. I need to take the transition now to a client server application and this is where the problem starts. I decided to use Firebird 2.5 embeded as my database, as it is open source, and it is can be used with the interbase components in Delphi and that multiple clients can access the database simultanously. So I followed the interbase tutorial in Delphi. I managed to connect the client to the server and see the data in the example (While both are running on my pc), but when i tried to move the client to another pc, keeping the server on mine and running it to see if I can connect to the server it gave me the following error. Exception EIdSocketError in module clientDemo.exe at 0029DCAC. Socket Error # 10061 Connection refused. I understand that this might be because the host is defined as localhost in the client. But here is my first question. In the TSQLConncetion you can set die hostname under Driver-Hostname. The thing I want to know is how do you do this at run time, as I cannot get the property when I try and make an edit box to allow the user to enter the value and then set it via code like for example: SQLConncetion1.Driver.Hostname := edtHost.text; This cannot be done this way and the only way I see you can set the hostname is with the object inspector, but that is not available at runtime and I need to set the hostname on the client when the program is running the first time, so how do you set the hostname/IP address at runtime? Im using Delphi XE2 There is still a lot of questions to come especially when it comes to deployment, but I will take this piece by piece and I appreciate the advice.

  • Need help with video streaming with web-embedded Windows Media Player Component

    Hello, I need to be able to play a .wmv video in a Windows Media Player component on a web page starting at a particular specified point in the video right away. I can embed the component and play the video. The problem is that even if I specify the location with The PARAM “currentPosition”, the video starts to play from the beginning. This appears to be because the requested position in the video has not been loaded yet. If I wait until the video has been loaded to the requested position and refresh the page, it will then play from the requested position. It seems that the video must start loading from the requested position in order to start right away. If this is the correct way, how would I go about doing it? If it is not, what is the proper way to do it? It can obviously be done, because YouTube’s players work like this. Thank you,

  • How to detect for screenreaders/MSAA without focusing the flash movie?

    I am trying to detect for the presence of assistive technology using flash. When a Flash movie holding the actionscript below on frame 1 is loaded (and screenreader chatting to IE or Firefox over MSAA is active -- JAWS or NVDA), Accessibility.isActive() does not return "true" until the movie is focused. Well, actually not until some "event" happens. The movie will just sit there until I right-click it & show flash player's context menu... it seems only then Accessibility.isActive() returns true. Right-clicking is the only way I could get the movie to "wake up". How do I get the movie to react on it's own and detect MSAA? I've tried sending focus to it with Javascript... can a fake a right-click in javascript or actionscript? Or do you know the events a right click is firing in a flash movie -- possibly I can programatically make that event happen?     I have a client who wants to be able to embed an Excel document (one that is currently sitting on the same server as the HTML document) like how you would embed a Flash app on a page. I'm correct in assuming this is not possible, right? Please confirm/deny so we can hopefully move on from this because he seems to think this is possible. We are on a LAMP setup so no .NET tricks, unfortunately.

In auto generated manifest file contains, ( i was using MS VC++ 2008 Express Edition) In side by side(winsxs) directory, there are three version on msvcr90.dll. my.dll started to using only the latest version of msvcr90.dll (9.0.30729.4148). Here in below topics i need the help: 1) my.dll is using only the latest version of msvcr90.dll . if i tried to make this dll as old. My application fails to start. How to make contidion that my.dll should refer only to the version which i mentioned in manifest file. 2) how can i tell my.dll should dependent on the msvcr90.dll which i providing in the local directory along with my.dll. I want to restrict my my.dll should not do search in the system directory for the msvcr90.dll.

  • MVC 4 iframe embedded in desktop page showing mobile view

    I use Index.cshtml and Index.mobile.cshtml. My Index.cshtml is a mobile app landing page containing an iframe to live demo the mobile web app. Index.mobile.cshtml is the mobile web app itself. The problem is, the iframe keeps loading the desktop version itself. As far as I know, I cannot configure the user agent of the iframe to a mobile type. It should be solvable with some routing but I couldn't figure out how!?

    hi. In numerical oriented languages (Matlab, Fortran) range operator and semantics is very handy when working with multidimensional data. For example: A(i:j,k,:n) // represents two-dimensional slice B(i:j,0:n) of A at index k unfortunately C++ does not have range operator (:). of course it can be emulated using range/slice functor, but semantics is less clean than Matlab. I am prototyping matrix/tensor domain language in C++ and am wondering if there any options to reproduce range operator. I still would like to rely on C++/prprocessor framework exclusively. So far I have looked through boost wave which might be an suitable option. is there any other means to introduce new operators to C++ DSL?

    Hi, i'm new to the realm to working with Files in .NET I'm creating a WPF application in VB.NET with the 3.5 Framework. (If you provide an example in C#, that's perfectly fine.) In my project I have a Template for an MS Access database. My desired behavior is that when the users clicks File--New, they can create a new copy of this template, give it a filename, and save it to their local directory. The database already has the tables and some starting data needed to interface with my application (a user-friendly data editor) I'm thinking the approach is to include this "template.accdb" file as a resource in the project, and write it to a file somehow at runtime? Any guidance will be very, very appreciated. Thanks!

I need my user control to be able to easily and efficiently work out if its inside another user control or an aspx page. My initial idea is to do it recursively with checks on the Parent property - continue looking up the nesting hierarchy until I find either a web form or a user control - but I'm not sure this the best way of going about this.     I am new to CSS media queries, and I was first trying to get pdf/mp3/mp4 buttons to get centered on this page whenever a mobile device is using it (http://www.mannachurch.org/portfolio-type/recycled-junk/). Keep in mind for that I am using a highly modified wordpress theme. So I tried experimenting to isolate this issue.   • Embedded scripting engine in .Net app

    I am looking to replace an old control being used for scripting an application. The control used to be called SAX Basic, but is now called WinWrap. It provides us with two primary functions. 1) It's a scripting engine (VB) 2) It has a GUI for developing and debugging scripts that get run in the hosting application. The first feature it provides is actually pretty easy to replace. There are so many great methods of running just about any kind of code at runtime that it's almost a non-issue. Just about any language targeting the .Net runtime will work for us. We've looked at running C#, PowerShell, VB.Net, IronPython, etc. I've also taken a brief look at Lua and F#, but honestly the language isn't the biggest barrier here. Now, for the hard part that seems to keep getting me stuck. We want a code editor, and debugger. Something simple, not unlike PowerShell's ISE would be fine. Just as long as a file could be created, saved, debugged and executed. I'm currently looking into Visual Studio 2010 Shell (Isolated) and I'm also looking at the feasibility of embedding PowerShell ISE in my application. Are there any other editor's I could embed/use in my application? Purchasing a product is not out of the question. It comes down to a combination of ease of use, how well it meets our needs, and how simple deployment and licensing is for developers. Thanks for the pointers
