• Log Files from bash script output

  I have a script that runs (this works fine). I'd like to produce logfiles from its output and still show it on screen. I have this command that creates three files from this blog: ((./fk.sh 2>&1 1>&3 | tee errors.log) 3>&1 1>&2 | tee output.log) 2>&1 | tee final.log This does exactly what I want it to. My only issue is that I create files in my script and copy them somewhere, and I'd like to copy these logfiles there too, which I can't do whilst this script is running. I also wanted to make it easier for any user to run my script, so I created another script to run this script. According to this post (see last post) I can put a . before the script name and I can use variables assigned in my called script from the first script if I use them in the first. It doesn't seem to work though and I can't figure out why or find alternative methods. Can anyone help?

• Manually "draw" data for chart, output to CSV

  I need a service that will allow me to draw a chart line by hand and generate data points for what I drew. This might sound crazy, but I need some data (preferably in CSV output) that will only approximately show value X at time Y and I do not want to go and produce these values by hand. I only have to know how it will flow along. Anyone know how to actually accomplish this? So, I would actually want to draw a line on a graph, and then get the output (X + Y) from that line I drew in a (preferably) CSV.

• No picture on HDMI Output from a Pioneer 921 AV Receiver to a Projector

  I am trying hard to tackle a what seemed to be simple problem if wiring my setup together. The setup: Mac Mini (2011) with HDMI Output Pioneer 921 K AV Receiver Acer HD Projector (HDMI) When I hook up my Mac Mini directly to the Projector with a 30 foot (10 meter) HDMI Cable everything is just fine. The picture is sharp and the colors brilliant. However, when I send HDMI to the receiver (into the BD HDMI Input) then I get absolutely no HDMI output to the projector, it keeps saying "no signal". Is there perhaps some magic combination of setup buttons that may help me resolve this problem?

Both respond numbers 0...9 in every line. In case of first server each number is received every second. In case of second server there is no output for 10 seconds and entire output is displayed at once. What might be wrong int second case? I tried various uutput control Functions but it didn't help. • Graphics card for dual 2560 x 1440 output

  As the title suggests I want to power two 2560 x 1440 monitors from one graphics card. I am just about to send my second graphics card back to Amazon, so before I purchase a 3rd incorrect card I thought I should get some advice. My latest card has dual DL-DVI output but only supports 2560 x 1440 on one output, the other maxes out at 1920 x 1080. Can graphics cards with two Dual Link DVI adapters (or alternately, one Dual Link DVI and one DisplayPort support the a full 2560 x 1440 on both monitors, or does that depend on the graphics hardware and not only the connectors?

Secondly, I create two lvs on this vg, and lastly, I logout: iscsiadm -m node -T poolA -p 192.168.0.203 -u After I execute lvs, the following error occurs: /dev/dm-2: read failed after 0 of 4096 at 0: Input/output error /dev/dm-5: read failed after 0 of 4096 at 0: Input/output error Can I get around this error without a reboot?   Hello all. I am about to embark in using a report viewer in my .net page. I have a page that will search for a catgory, upon a button click, the category chosen will pass into the parameter of report viewer. Now, given that I am a newbie to both SSRS and .net, I'd just like a bit of advice on how to tackle this. Should I make the report in SSRS first and include the parameters in this report or can I make the report without the parameters specified, then programmatically enter this in the codebehind? Basically, I know what I would like to do but not sure the best approach to take. If anyone can offer advice, I would be most grateful.

The output redirection works fine until I call the function. The $LOG variable is set at the top of the file. I tried echoing statements and they would not print. I am guessing the function captures the output itself? If so how do push the output to the file instead of the console. (The wget above prints to console, while an echo inside the function does nothing.)

  I am attempting to use the validate decorator in Pylons with FormEncode and I have encountered an issue. I am attempting to validate a form on a controller action that requires parameters, and if the validation fails, the parameters aren't passed back in when the form is re-rendered. Here's an example. def question_set(self, id): c.question_set = meta.Session.query(QuestionSet).filter_by(id=id).first() c.question_subjects = meta.Session.query(QuestionSubject).order_by(QuestionSubject.name).all() return render('/derived/admin/question_set.mako') This is the controller action that contains my form. The form will add questions to an existing question set, which is identified by id. My add question controller action looks like this: @validate(schema=QuestionForm(), form='question_set', post_only=True) def add_question(self): stuff... Now, if the validation fails FormEncode attempts to redisplay the question_set form, but it does not pass the id parameter back in, so the question set form will not render. Is it possible to pass the id back in with the @validate decorator, or do I need to use a different method to achieve what I am attempting to do?

  Hi Guys, I am trying to implement an edit page in order administrator to modify data in database.Unfortunately I am encountering an error. To make a parameter optional its type should be either a reference type or a Nullable type.   I have a WCF method that is not receiving the request parameters. But if I use the WCFTest client (the one that comes with visual studio) the method receives the parameters.   I'm building a very simple REST API using Jersey, and I've got a warning in my log files that I'm not sure about. WARNING: A servlet POST request, to the URI http://myserver/mycontext/myapi/users/12345?action=delete, contains form parameters in the request body but the request body has been consumed by the servlet or a servlet filter accessing the request parameters. Only resource methods using @FormParam will work as expected. Resource methods consuming the request body by other means will not work as expected. My webapp only has the Jersey servlet defined, mapped to /myapi/* How can I stop these warnings?

• Python's subprocess.Popen object hangs gathering child output when child process does not exit

  When a process exits abnormally or not at all, I still want to be able to gather what output it may have generated up until that point. • NUnit does not capture output of std::cerr

  I have an nunit Test in C#, that calls a C# wrapper of a function in a C++ DLL. The C++ code uses std::cerr to output various messages. These messages cannot be redirected using nunit-console /out /err or /xml switch. In nunit (the GUI version) the output does not appear anywhere. I would like to be able to see this output in nunit (GUI version). Ideally I would like to be able to access this output in the Test. Thanks for any help.

  Hi, I have a function that accepts a variable number of parameters: foo (Class... types); In which I get a certain number of class types. Next, I want to have a function bar( ?? ) That will accepts a variable number of parameters as well, and be able to verify that the variables are the same number (that's easy) and of the same types (the hard part) as was specified in foo. How can I do that? Edit: to clarify, a call could be: foo (String.class, Int.class); bar ("aaa", 32); // OK! bar (3); // ERROR! bar ("aa" , "bb"); //ERROR! Also, foo and bar are methods of the same class.
