Below is a snippet of Java that annotates parameters in a constructor. public class Factory { private final String name; private final String value; public Factory(@Inject("name") String name, @Inject("value") String value) { this.name = name; this.value = value; } } From looking at c# annotations it does not look like I can annotate parameters.     The API defined in the ADL SDK manual reads: int ADL_Display_ConnectedDisplays_Get(int iAdapterIndex, int* lpConnections) They say that lpConnections is the pointer to the bit field indicating whether the output connectors on the specified adapter have devices physically attached to them. This information is exactly what I want but nowhere in the documentation I could find any data on what the various bits in the lpConnections obtained might mean. I also tried going through the header files but found nothing relevant on this. I know this is very specific to but can anyone here answer?

    I have added three methods with parameters: public static void doSomething(Object obj) { System.out.println("Object called"); } public static void doSomething(char[] obj) { System.out.println("Array called"); } public static void doSomething(Integer obj) { System.out.println("Array called"); } When I am calling doSomething(null) , then compiler throws error as ambiguous methods. So Is the issue because Integer and char[] methods or Integer and Object methods?

    What is the elegant way to convert JSONObject to URL parameters. For example, JSONObject: {stat: {123456: {x: 1, y: 2}, 123457: {z: 5, y: 2}}}} this should be like: stat[123456][x]=1&stat[123456][y]=2&stat[123457][z]=5&stat[123457][y]=2 of course with escaped symbols, and of course JSON object could be more complicated..   • Passing extended parameter into Sql 2008 connection string

    Hi, I have a need to support extensive auditing capabilities for a system backing into Sql Server 2008. Since I plan to use LINQ (with no Stored Procs), the database would be a clean, zero contact data repository. However, I need to pratically record a snapshot of every change that happens in the db. So, I thought I should use triggers. But then, I need a user id for the particular user (not the connection string user id) to flow through into the database. In oracle, I should have been able to set up a PROXY USER and the trigger would be able to pick that up. Last I checked, there was no proxy user concept in Sql Server. Does anyone know if there's any extender property I can use to flow through my authenticated user name? ps: I don't mind the impact on connection pooling (if any). Thanks. P

    Hello, I needed to find the number of files in a folder on the system. This is what i used: file_count = sum((len(f) for _, _, f in os.walk('path'))) This works fine when we specify the path as a string in quotes, but when I enter a variable name that holds the path, type(file_count) is a generator object, and hence cannot be used as an integer. How to solve this and why does this happen?

    hello. while testing with different version of g++, the following problem came up template<class bra> struct Transform<bra, void> : kernel::Eri::Transform::bra { static const size_t ni = bra::A::size; bra::A is interpreted as kernel::Eri::Transform::bra::A, rather than template argument by g++ 4.1.2. on the other hand, g++ 4.3 gets it right. what should be correct behavior according to standard? Meanwhile, I refactor slightly to make problem go away.

    Hi, Im loading an entity 'Member' from its id in route data. [ListItemsForMembershipType(true)] public ActionResult Edit(Member someMember) {...} The attribute on the action loads the membership type list items for a dropdown box and sticks it in viewdata. This is fine for add forms, and search forms (it gets all active items) but I need the attribute to execute BASED ON THE VALUE someMember.MembershipTypeId, because its current value must always be present when loading the item (i.e. all active items, plus the one from the loaded record). So the question is, what is the standard pattern for this? How can my attribute accept the value or should I be loading the viewdata for the drop down in a controller supertype or during model binding or something else? It is in an attribute now because the code to set the viewdata would otherwise be duplicated in each usage in each action.

    Sorry that I could not compile jsfiddle because it's jsf application hosted locally and code is dependent on data from jsf application. Although I have arrange part of it and part if it as snippet here. Now Everything's correct in Firefox. Suddenly when I open it in chrome something happened. The text on raphael paper suddenly gets scattered in the paper. It's not where it's meant to be. This happens when I convert svg to image and again generate svg. Everything works fine in Firefox.   • Spring mvc: controller returns [][], usable in jsp with foreach, but how to bind?

    I'm building a spring mvc application. Now the problem I have is the following. I have a controller which adds a DayInfo[][] to my ModelMap. (DayInfo has an id, a title (String) and Text(also String). Now the problem I have is that I have no problem displaying this DayInfo[][] with foreach tags in my jsp. However I'm outputting the Title property as an input box(type text), and I'd like to be able to update this value (and thus saving it to be a database but that shouldn't be a problem). However I'm having trouble with binding this value to the input box so that it is actually returned to the controller. If anyone has some advice it would be welcome.

    Hi, I' m implementing a custom STL map. I need to make sure that any data type (basic or user defined) key will work with it. I declared the Map class as a template which has two parameters for the key and the value. My question is if I need to use a string as the key type, how can I overload the < and operators for string type keys only?? In template specialization we have to specialize the whole class with the type we need as I understand it. Is there any way I can do this in a better way?? What if I add a separate Key class and use it as the template type for Key? Thank You!!

When I call repository.add(something), I wait for event AfterChange before doing any assertion.
