  • Excluding specific file types from a security audit in windows server 2008

    Hi, I am looking for a way to exclude specific file types from being logged in the security audits. I have a folder being audited for deletion events and the majority of logged events are .tmp files (such as a temp Word file that is automatically deleted when the app is closed) which I do not care about. Would anyone know of a way to exclude these types of files from being logged? Thanks in advance for any comments.

  • Pages '09 reverts to a specific printer after choosing "Any Printer"

    When I select Any Printer in the Format For: drop down box for a Pages '09 document, the next time I reopen the document it reverts to formatting for the specific printer that was originally selected. Why isn't the Format For: selection persistent? I know for certain that this problem exists on documents that I originally created in an earlier version of Pages. I have not yet confirmed if it also happens in documents originally created in Pages '09.

  • Unable to locate a specific shape in Visio

    I'm trying to create (convert) a Visio architecture diagram from an existing image which is available in the format of JPG extension. My question is, in this complete architecture diagram which I'm trying to convert, there is one specific shape/symbol which I couldn't able to locate/find in the Visio stencil. Can somebody help me in locating this shape/symbol either inside Visio stencil or from any external stencils/symbols? NOTE: I'm using Visio Professional 2013.

  • Skype will not send/recieve messages to specific person (they will LAG)

    There is a similar question, but I tried changing audio settings. I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 and sometimes when talking to specific person it just doesn't send messages or receive them. It may even show that person as offline for few seconds (even if she/he is not). That may not depend on the other side, because it happened on Windows and Ubuntu box. There is a possiblity it's not really limited to skype and it's more of a wider problem, I'm not sure.

    How do I run a script when a drive is mounted under OSX ? My usecase is that I would like to automatically copy images from my USB memory/harddrive when it is inserted in my USB card reader, and when a DVD or CD is inserted I would like to copy it for storage in my media center. I've tried using Marcopolo but from what I can see it can only detect the presence of a certain USB device, not the presence of specific harddrive. For instance, if I have a single instance of Firefox running, but it's minimized (or there's some other window on top of it).     From what I understand, the noarch suffix means that it's architecture independent and should work universally. If this is the case, why should I install architecture-specific packages at all? Why not just go straight for the noarch? Are there optimizations in the x86 or x64 binaries that aren't found in the noarch binaries? What's best for high performance applications?     I can get a list of files from a text file from a specific directory, but they are naturally in singles. I need to create a text file that will give the contents, but all in 1 line separated by a space. My batch is here: dir /a /b /-p /o:gen %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\file_list_full.txt As an example, this will give: Hello.exe Help.txt Big.png sound.ogg I need it to be: Hello.exe Help.txt Big.png sound.ogg How can I do this?

  • MySQL keeps adding additional user without rights from specific IP

    I'm running MySQL Server 5.5.29 on Ubuntu Server 13.04 I have a created a user with a wildcard host access % and given him various privileges. However, whenever this user connects from 194.182.245.61, a new user account is created for that specific IP address with no rights and he is unable to exercise his privileges. When he connects from other internet connections, such as his home IP, it works just as it should. Why does this happen and how can I stop it from happening?

    Hey, I've been troubleshooting network issues on servers with 2 NICs and laptops with wired and wireless cards. How can I force the PING and TELNET to be sent from a specific adapter? I know it's a trouble with windows. Turning off one of the adapters is not an option, I am always connected through one of the adapters.     I just accepted that ethernet cables CAT 5 and more must be ended with specific arrangement. I learned when I ending my cables to take attention that either end must be in same arrangement(568A or 568B ). Sometime I get stacked with my fellow servant that they claim that Cable should work if just arrangement at both side are same even if it is not in 568A or 568B layouts. My experience said that it is not true, but I am now looking for some technical argument to prove that.
