  • amp is included in url struts tag

    - by lakshmanan
    Hi, In my web application, I use strust2 url tag to pass parameters like id etc., For example, I use a link to delete an entity and I use param to pass the id of the entity to be deleted. And I follow this throughout my web app for adding, editing, deleting an entity. During run time, sometimes, I don't get the params to be stored in my action's bean properties. When I see the link that is generated, I get something like <a href='/projit1/p/discuss/viewDiscussion.action?d=11&amp;amp;amp;projid=11&amp;amp;disid=4'> What are these amps for ? why do they sit in between the action calls (made by link via url tag actions ) ? By the time I traverse back and forth in my web app, I get 10s and 20s of amp sitting in the request URL. What is the problem here ? Please help.

  • form:select items problem in spring mvc portlet

    - by dhaval
    I have a set of drop-down control which I want to render with my custom tag library. The following is the code of the tag lib: <spring:bind path="${path}"> <c:choose> <c:when test="${readOnly}"> <span class="readOnly">${status.value}</span> </c:when> <c:otherwise> <form:select path="${path }" itemLabel="${label }" itemValue="${value }" items="${itemList}"> </form:select> </c:otherwise> </c:choose> And this is the code I have written in the JSP file: <tag:conditionalListControl path="model.selectedCountry" readOnly="false" label="name" value="id" listItems="model.countryList" className="simple" /> Upon execution the paring returns the following error: [jsp:165] javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: Type [java.lang.String] is not valid for option items But if i change the items="${itemList}" to items="${model.countryList}" which is the list I want to display, it works fine without any problem and also bind to required variables on form submit. But i don't want to hard code any variables in the tag lib. Any suggestions???

  • Django template tag basic question

    - by ninja123
    It looks like this template tag works like a charm for most people: http://blog.localkinegrinds.com/2007/09/06/digg-style-pagination-in-django/ For some reason I get this error: Caught an exception while rendering: 'is_paginated' I use this template tag in my template like so: {% load digg_paginator %} {% digg_paginator %} Where digg_paginator.py is in my app/templatetags folder and the included template context digg_paginator.html is in my app/templates folder. The queryset that needs pagination is called 'destinations'. If i just specify {% digg_paginator %}, how does it know what variable to paginate?? I feel I am missing something important here or just plain stupid :P Someone please help, or explain to me how this should be done. Thanks

  • what is a TOPIC in Struts2

    - by nacho4d
    HI, I am learning struts 2 with Tiles 2 and the word "topic" shows up very frequently... What is a topic? for example: The sx:a tag (specifically the ajax a template) and the div tag support an ajax event system, providing the ability to broadcast events to topics. You can specify the topics to listen to using a comma separated list in the listenTopics attribute. What this means is that when a topic is published, usually through the ajax a template, the URL specified in the href attribute will be re-requested. Placeholder... Refresh

  • Does Meta-refresh require a full url

    - by Roy Rico
    Does a meta refresh tag require a full url? I have code that looks like this, which seems to work just fine, but when I load it in lynx text browser, it says this is bad HTML. It seems to suggest that the full URL is required (http://mydomain.com/blah.htm).

  • facebook meta tag description not updating

    - by wazzz
    3 days ago I updated description within the meta tag of facebook, but change does not reflect when sharing link on facebook. Instead old description still appears. According to Facebook, it scrapes your page every 24 hours to ensure the description (and other share data) are up to date. However, one can manually refresh it by entering the post URL into the Facebook URL Linter I did manually refresh it as well as now waited for 3 days. When i see debugging output from linter, it shows the correct up-to-date description, but old description still shown when sharing a link. How to reproduce: This is our website: https://www.tradeinsports.se/#tis1 (It's in swedish so bear with me please). If you go to above link and click on any of the two available products, and then share on facebook, you can see the difference in description from the one which appears in linter debugging output. Any help would be appreciated.

' '; } } ?> The code can apply well on the website, but I have to enter text to the search. I just want to place my tag on that search text so my question is How to make fixed word(my tag) automatically placed on search or where I must place the tag code, the search result is mytag linked on @www.other-website.com/search so user do not have to type? • How can I initialize an ActiveX control from a URL?

    - by Peter Ruderman
    I have an MFC ActiveX control embedded in a web page. Some of the parameters for this control are very large. I don't know what these values will be at compile time, but I do know that once retrieved, they will almost certainly never change. Currently, I embed the parameters like so: <object name="MyActiveX"> <param name="param" value="<%= GetData() %>" /> </object> I want to do something like this: <object name="MyActiveX"> <param name="param" value="content/data" valuetype="ref" /> </object> The idea is that the browser would retrieve the resource from the web server and pass it on to the control. The browser's own caching would then take care of the unneccesary downloads. Unfortunately, ref parameters don't work like this. The browser just passes the url along to the control (which strikes me as utterly useless, but I digress). So, is there some way I can make this work? Alternatively, is there an easy way in MFC to instruct the control's host container to retrieve a URI identified resource? Any better ideas?

I haven't touch html for a while but googling the attribute didn't return much useful info. <div dataquery="#item_1306" comp="box.components.Flashplayer" id="box_Flashplayer_2" propertyquery="#box_Flashplaye_2" class="box_Flashplaye_style2"... My question is, do you know what are these "dataquery" "comp" and "propertyquery" attributes? Thanks alot folks.

  • Retrieve KEYWORDS from META tag in a HTML WebPage using JAVA.

    - by kooldave98
    Hello all, I want to retrieve all the content words from a HTML WebPage and all the keywords contained in the META TAG of the same HTML webpage using Java. For example, consider this html source code: <html> <head> <meta name = "keywords" content = "deception, intricacy, treachery"> </head> <body> My very short html document. <br> It has just 2 'lines'. </body> </html> The CONTENT WORDS here are: my, very, short, html, document, it, has, just, lines Note: The punctuation and the number '2' are ruled out. The KEYWORDS here are: deception, intricacy, treachery I have created a class for this purpose called WebDoc, this is as far as I have been able to get. import java.io.BufferedReader; import java.io.IOException; import java.io.InputStreamReader; import java.net.URL; import java.util.Set; import java.util.TreeSet; public class WebDoc { protected URL _url; protected Set<String> _contentWords; protected Set<String> _keyWords public WebDoc(URL paramURL) { _url = paramURL; } public Set<String> getContents() throws IOException { //URL url = new URL(url); Set<String> contentWords = new TreeSet<String>(); BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(_url.openStream())); String inputLine; while ((inputLine = in.readLine()) != null) { // Process each line. contentWords.add(RemoveTag(inputLine)); //System.out.println(RemoveTag(inputLine)); } in.close(); System.out.println(contentWords); _contentWords = contentWords; return contentWords; } public String RemoveTag(String html) { html = html.replaceAll("\\<.*?>",""); html = html.replaceAll("&",""); return html; } public Set<String> getKeywords() { //NO IDEA ! return null; } public URL getURL() { return _url; } @Override public String toString() { return null; } }

  • Regex for template tag with attributes

    - by Funkmyer
    Hi, I haven't found my answer after reading through all of these posts, so I'm hoping one of you heavy hitter regex folks can help me out. I'm trying to isolate the tag name and any attributes from the following string format: {TAG:TYPE attr1="foo" attr2="bar" attr3="zing" attr4="zang" attr5="zoom" ...} NOTE: in the above example, TAG will always be the same and TYPE will be one of several preset strings (e.g. share,print,display etc...). TAG and TYPE are uppercased only for the example but will not be case sensitive for real.

  • How to use git to download a particular tag?

    - by Jack BeNimble
    I'm trying to figure out how do download a particular tag of a git repository - it's one version behind the current version. I saw there was a tag for the previous version on the git web page, with object name of something long hex number. But the version name is "Tagged release 1.1.5" according the site. I tried a command like this (with names changed): git clone http://git.abc.net/git/abc.git my_abc And I did get something - a directory, a bunch of subdirectories, etc. If it's the whole repository, how do I get at the version I'm seeking? If not, how do I download that particular version?

  • How to override <base> tag without removing the tag itself?

    - by sSmacKk
    I'm trying to add some internal links(in the format of a content table, to be able to facilitate webpage navigation) to this site in which a tag is used. Now obviously due to the base tag, every other relative tag will be relative to the base tag href. But in order for me to create this internal content table with the links pointing to different parts of the specific page, i need to get the default URL (before base tag is in effect) so the internal links can work properly. Is there a way to do get around the base tag and accomplish this? PS: if the question is unclear please don't hesitate to ask so i can reformulate Thanks in advance, :D :D

  • php array strip_tags and unset

    - by teo6389
    hello everybody i have a question regarding strip_tags function. i have an html document like that. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <title>Untitled Document</title> </head> <body> <p>er</p> </body> </html> and this php script <?php $file = "ht.html"; $fp = fopen($file, "r"); $data = fread($fp, filesize($file)); fclose($fp); $output = str_replace("\t|\t", "|", $data); $outputline = explode("\n", $output); $lexeisline=count($outputline); for ($i = 0; $i < $lexeisline; $i++){ $outputline[$i]=strip_tags($outputline[$i]); if (empty($outputline[$i])){ unset($outputline[$i]); } } $outputline = array_values($outputline); $lexeisline=count($outputline); echo "<p>"; for ($i = 0; $i < $lexeisline; $i++){ echo ($outputline[$i])."<br />"; } echo "</p>"; ?> the problem is that it does not unset the empty vars(which are returned from the strip_tags) and echos something like this. does the following means that it echos empty strings? any opinion or help will be very appreciated. Thanx in advance <p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Untitled Document <br /> <br /> <br />er <br /> <br /></p> @phpmeh Array ( [0] => [1] => [2] => [3] => [4] => Untitled Document [5] => [6] => [7] => er [8] => )
