After all they need money to host their data and code.   My current database design uses MyIsam mainly as the storage engine, I wonder if its possible to split some of the tables into MyIsam and some into Innodb in the same database. Reason of switching some of the tables to Innodb is because i need row-based locking which Innodb offers. I am not too sure whether this would have any effect on replication?

• Bash sourcing of functions in other languages

  This is, perhaps, a silly question, but it's something that I've wondered about: is it possible to, say, define a Ruby/Python/Perl/etc. function in some file and then source it in Bash (to make it available anywhere in the current shell)? At the moment, I "source" scripts/functions in other languages by creating a bash alias that executes that script... But I wonder if it's possible for Bash to interpret those other functions directly? Thanks. :)

I wonder whether it is still possible because the box-shadow element is able to render shadow inside like this: box-shadow: inset 0px -5px 10px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5); Any ideas?

  I've written code that exports vCards and have the problem that the PHOTO data exported will show on a couple Windows programs, but when the vCard is viewed in the Mac or iPhone addrs books, the photo doesnt show.   I did a test in chrome and firefox, chrome with no extension, firefox with a dozen. The test is form goolge (perhaps is optimized for chrome?), here and the result was: Firefox: 118 Chrome: 2479 So I wonder: the benchmark is also influenced by the installed extensions or chrome is really so much higher than Firefox in performance?
