  • Mootools 1.2.4 delegation not working in IE8...?

    Hey there everybody-- So I have a listbox next to a form. When the user clicks an option in the select box, I make a request for the related data, returned in a JSON object, which gets put into the form elements. When the form is saved, the request goes thru and the listbox is rebuilt with the updated data. Since it's being rebuilt I'm trying to use delegation on the listbox's parent div for the onchange code. The trouble I'm having is with IE8 (big shock) not firing the delegated event. So this all works as expected in firefox, but IE8 refuses to fire the delegated change event on the select element. If I attach the change function directly to the select, then it works just fine. Am I missing something? Does IE8 just not like the :relay? Sidenote: I'm very new to mootools and javascripting, etc, so if there's something that can be improved code-wise, please let me know too..   • svn working copy spanning 2 physical drives?

    I have a large repository hosted on dreamhost that I backup daily on a remote machine using a windows scheduled task which updates the working copy located on an external USB 300GB drive connected to the remote machine. The 300GB drive is nearly full with only 26GB of free space remaining. Recently I added a second USB external 1TB drive to increase storage capacity. I would like to ask: what is the best way to use the new 1TB drive? Is it possible to span the working copy across both drives (ex: somehow create a 1.3 TB drive)? If I copied the working copy from the 300GB to the 1TB would svn continue form do I need to retarget the update working copy script to the new 1TB drive and start downloading everything again (least desired option) thanks

  • SSL certificate error with Weblogic in Internet Explorer

    I have a Weblogic server installed and a site. The SSL port is 7002 When I try to access a secure page ex https://localhost:7002/site in Internet Explorer I get a certificate error. Clicking the continue to website does not do anything. In chrome, I get the opton to "Ignore Anyway" and I can continue to see the page. But in Internet explorer I having no such luck. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I am using the default certificates that come wih weblogic installation. I have not generated any private keys or certificates. Any help appreciated.

  • Seaching for an element in a circular sorted array

    I wanted to share this with you, i had this problem in a google interview. we want to search for a given element in a circular sorted array in complexity not greater than O(Log n). ex: search for 13 in {5,9,13,1,3}. My idea was to convert the circular array into a regular sorted array then do a binary search on the resulting array, but my problem was the algorithm i came up was stupid that it takes O(n) in the worst case: for(i = 1; i < a.length; i++){ if (a[i] < a[i-1]){ minIndex = i; break; } } then the corresponding index of ith element will be determined from the following relation: (i + minInex - 1) % a.length it is clear that my conversion (from circular to regular) algorithm may take O(n), so we need a better one, any suggestions?

    hello guys, just simple question, recently i have setup a web server to build project using zend framework, after setup and see those welcome page saying that you are creating websites powered by zendframework, then i try issuing command, $ zf create controller alert i get the message that saying that i've successfully create controller, view and so on, but when i try to navigate to the page by URL, ex: www.mywebapp.com/alert the page is broken, i've check those tuts but none of them showing this case. can some one define which step i've skip? update: (25/5/2010) so i've found that there is no problem, is just that i've not configured properly my route to my web apps, so i have to type URL like this: www.mywebapp.com/index.php/alert how am I going to change this? i mean i want to explode "index.php" out of URL.

But this is asking me for permissions two times. 1) when I am registering alarm using PushRegistry.registerAlarm("ClassName", alarm.getTime()); 2) when app start on that defined time. in this and this link I found that if my application is signed then it will not ask for permission when app autostart. but I am not sure about the time when my code will register alarm. Will it ask for permission or not?

    I just switched from Eclipse to NetBeans IDE 6.8 for my PHP/Ajax development. Eclipse always showed a little hard disk symbol over the file icon for files that were in sync with the svn repository, and an asterisk for files with changes that have not been committed. Is there a way to see the commit status in NetBeans? If not, what is your preferred way of recognizing which files to commit?

Is there a better way to this.

    Hi All, I have to implement a logic whereby given a child class, I need to access its parent class and all other child class of that parent class, if any. I did not find any API in Java Reflection which allows us to access all child classes of a parent class. Is there any way to do it? Ex. class B extends class A class C extends class A Now using class B, I can find the superclass by calling getSuperClass(). But is there any way to find all the child classes once I have the parent class i.e. class B and class C?? Regards, darkie

    I setup the form validation using jQuery validation plug-in's validate method and I have a submit handler that modifies the input element's value (I use YUI editor and it needs saveHTML() call to copy the iframe's content to the textarea element.). When submitting the form, I want the validator to validate the form after executing my submit handler. But it doesn't execute my submit handler if it is registered after the validate call.     I'd like to be notified when a file has been created, deleted or changed, but not using polling mechanism. I have surveyed related Java API that can use.(EX:JNotify, JPathWatch and JXFileWatcher) Those APIs provide file monitor by using native component on OS. But I met the same problem is that they can't run on Linux 64bits, because native component in those APIs donen't support Linux 64bits, and this confused me for a long time. I also know that there'll be a WatchService API as part of NIO2 in JDK7, but JDK7 has not released yet. So, can any one suggest me a better solution? Very Thanks.
