  After testing on msvc8, I found: Parse GetCommandLine() to argc and argv Standard C Library initialization C++ Constructor of global variables These three things are called before entering main(). My questions are: Will this execution order be different when I porting my program to different compiler (gcc or armcc), or different platform? What stuff does Standard C Library initialization do? So far I know setlocale() is a must. Is it safe to call standard C functions inside C++ constructor of global variables?

  I am looking for a way to move all files and subfolders within a given directory to somewhere else and after the movement delete the original folder. For example, suppose in current path, there is a folder called FOLDERA, I am trying to move all files and subfolders from FOLDERA to the current path and then remove FOLDERA, but I need to do this with a command line. I try MOVE command but I find that it can only move the files. Anyway to do that? Thanks.

  In my previous blog posts, I have demonstrated a simple web app using ASP.NET MVC 3 and EF Code First. In this post, I will be focus on making this application for mobile devices. A single web site will be used for both mobile browsers and desktop browsers. If users are accessing the web app from mobile browsers, users will be redirect to mobile specific pages and will get normal pages if users are accessing from desktop browsers. In this demo app, the mobile specific pages are maintained in an ASP.NET MVC Area named Mobile and mobile users will be redirect to MVC Area Mobile. Let’s add a new area named Mobile to the ASP.NET MVC app. For adding Area, right click the ASP.NET MVC project and  select Area from Add option. Our mobile specific pages using jQuery Mobile will be maintained in the Mobile Area. ASP.NET MVC Global filter for redirecting mobile visitors to Mobile area Let’s add an ASP.NET MVC Global filter for redirecting mobile visitors to Mobile area. The below Global filter is taken from the sample app http://aspnetmobilesamples.codeplex.com/ created by the ASP.NET team. • Need help with yum,python and php in CentOS. (I made a complete mess!)

  a while back I wanted to install some plugins for Trac but it required python 2.5 I tried installing it (I don't remember how) and the only thing I managed was to have two versions of python (2.4 and 2.5). Trac still uses the old version but the console uses 2.5 (python -V = Python 2.5.2). Anyway, the problem is not python, the problem is yum (which uses python). I am trying to upgrade my PHP version from 5.1.x to 5.2.x. This post suggests that the problem is sqlite and not yum. The version of sqlite I have installed is 3.6.10 but I have no idea which version does python 2.4 uses. ld.so.config contains the following: include ld.so.conf.d/*.conf /usr/local/lib In folder /usr/local/lib I find a symbolic link named libsqlite3.so that points to libsqlite3.so.0.8.6 WHAT IS HAPPENING??????? :S

  I'd like to run nginx as a reverse proxy with apache2 on my EC2 micro instance. yum install nginx gives me nginx-0.8.53-1.2.amzn1.x86_64.rpm The current nginx is 1.0.4 I found and followed this guide: http://kdn2.info/2011/05/install-nginx-on-amazon-ec2/ It works fine up to and including "make".
