    I'm trying to get someone else's app up and running on my development laptop but I ran into a routing issue and I'm not sure how to debug it. ErrorException [ Fatal Error ]: Class 'Properties_Model' not found The offending controller line: $properties = new Properties_Model; The model: class Properties_Model extends Model { public function _construct() { parent::_construct(); } } I also put the class in three different locations hoping one would work, all there failed. They are: application/classes/model application/model application/models What am I missing?

RadRails has a "Switch to Test" function for my controller, model, etc. but not for my library. if I have class Foo::Bar in /lib/foo/bar.rb, where should I put the unittest for it? or should I separate the foo library in a separated project?     How can I install db2 with already created domain user? Or maybe there is no need, just install with local user db2admin and then create instance using existing domain user? This is how it looks I've got win 2003 cluster single quorum, I have to move db2 database to another cluster in same domain. I've added resources to new cluster like in IBM redbook, and I have problem adding db2 resource. I've got service account DOMAIN\serviceaccount and DOMAIN\db2_instance owner, to install db2 do I have to log in as db2_instance_owner? Thanks in advance

  • Determine display or VNC session based on PID

    I frequently VNC into a server where we run many concurrent computationally intensive matlab processes. Sometimes, one of my processes misbehave, which I can see from top, but I have a hard time figuring out which VNC session it's running on, or more specifically, which display it's running on. Suppose I see that PID 8536 looks like a resource hog, and I want to investigate. Because it's a matlab session, I know there is likely an IDE open somewhere, and I want to check to see if anything important is happening before I kill it. We've solved this somewhat awkwardly in the past by identifying which PTY 8536 was launched from, then looking at a process tree to figure out things launched in that context, scrolling up, and seeing the VNC initialization. Seems like there must be a better way to go PID - X Display (or VNC Session).

  • Tomcat's connection pool opens only 20 connections to mysql

    I have a java application with following line in context.xml <Resource driverClassName="com.mysql.jdbc.Driver" maxActive="100" maxIdle="30" initialSize="10" maxWait="7000" name="jdbc/app" password="pass" type="javax.sql.DataSource" url="jdbc:mysql://dbhost:3306/dbname?autoReconnect=true" username="user" validationQuery="SELECT 1" removeAbandoned="true" removeAbandonedTimeout="30" logAbandoned="true" /> In mysql 'show variables' tells me that max_connections is 151. Still, use information_schema; select count(*) from processlist where User = 'user'; never shows me more than 20 connections. On tomcat's catalina.out -log I get Caused by: org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp.SQLNestedException: Cannot get a connection, pool exhausted at org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp.PoolingDataSource.getConnection(PoolingDataSource.java:103) at org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp.BasicDataSource.getConnection(BasicDataSource.java:540) at org.springframework.jdbc.datasource.DataSourceUtils.doGetConnection(DataSourceUtils.java:113) at org.springframework.jdbc.datasource.DataSourceUtils.getConnection(DataSourceUtils.java:79) What should I check for to find the problem?

    I am using following route map routes.MapRoute( "RenderAssociatedForm", "DoAction/{nodeLevelId}/{nodeSystemId}", new { controller = "FrontEnd", action = "RenderAssociatedForm", }); Now nodeLevelId can be anything like zs\bbal. As we know that we should escape '\', so we are using 'zs%5cbbal'. But still the following url is not mapping to this route. //localhost/DoAction/zs%5cbbal/5 When I try simple Id without the escape character, it maps properly. Can anybody tell me where I am going wrong?

Could anyone help with this?

  • Kerberos authentication between 2 applications

    We work on a server 2003 and server 2008 R2 enviroment. I'm familiar with the basic usage of the Kerberos protocol where the protocol authenticates a client when he tries to use a shared resource (server, folder, printer, etc.). We have three distinct and independent .NET applications that we develop inhouse (app A, app B & app C) but they need to communicate for a given reason (A recieves messages only from B and C and C recieves messages only from B). Is it possible to configure the Kerberos services to authenticate messages/request between two .NET apps ? (Instead of a user-server authentication, we will have an application-application authentication)

    I've noticed a lot of examples for iPhone apps in the Application Delegate - (void)applicationDidFinishLaunching:(UIApplication *)application have [window addSubview: someController.view]; (1) as opposed to self.window.rootViewController = self.someController; (2) Is there any practical reason to use one over the other? Is one technically correct? Do controller's have the an equivalent command to number (2) like self.someController.rootController = self.someOtherController; // pseudocode

  • Sub-viewController doesn't get autorotation notifications, bug?

    If I have a view (and its controller) and I override the willAnimateRotationToInterfaceOrientation method so I can respond to autorotation events everything works fine and dandy. Now if I create another viewController and add its view to the first viewController's view via: [firstViewController.view addSubview:secondViewController.view] The secondViewController's willAnimateRotationToInterfaceOrientation method isn't called. How To: Allow users to edit their account without providing a password ...to enable my users to change the account credential and update without providing their existing password. However, I also want to use the Confirmable modules reconfirmable functionality Even though I have config.reconfirmable = true set in my devise initializer file the controller doesn't seem to be sending the reconfirmable emails. Any ideas what's wrong?
