That Web Service (WCF) depends on the Model layer from my MVC project to communicate with the back-end (so it looks to me like it needs to be part of the MVC solution). • Resources.resx in c# projects

  I have a problem using a Resources.resx - Resources.de.resx - combination in a C#/WPF project. The whole solutions contains several projects and some projects contains resource files. When starting the main project I can switch the language successfully from english to german. But the GUI elements from the sub projects still show the english text. For ease of reference for the coders working on the project I'd like to be able to add a commented tag similarly to # $Revision: 144 $ However, instead of the file revision it should contain a simple version number like so: # $Version: 1.63 $ # $Version: 1.64 $ # $Version: 2.0 $ Is there a way to get subversion to do this automatically for a specific directory and all sub-directories as well as for any new files added to those?

  I follow this tutorial here to create RESTful web service on Netbean 6.8. However, when I right click on the project node and select Test RESTful Web Service, the browser pop up, and supposedly my project would be listed on the left, and supposedly I would be able to select it, and test against various function that listed on the right. However, I dont see any of that. Any idea why?

  I've been banging my head on an issue and before I continue injuring myself some more, I'd like to confirm: Is it possible to have a GCC project that uses libraries that are compiled with and without RTTI? So, for example, I have project A (compiled without RTTI) that uses library B (compiled with RTTI) and library C (compiled without RTTI). In theory, is all that supposed to compile and link with no problems?

If I want to add classes from a new dll that didn't exist when I compiled the project, there is any way to do that without recompiling?   I have a rather big Core project that I'm working with, I'm attempting to adapt it to use a DLL Engine I've built, I'm getting a bunch of errors like: unresolved external symbol "private: static class When including some of the headers from the Core in the DLL, the class is exported via __declspec(dllexport) but any header with static members throws out a crapload of errors regarding the static members. This is a rather big project, I can't exactly run around removing every static class member I see, is there anyway around this kind of thing?

  In my 2nd ASP.NET MVC project I'm facing a very weird problem: when I call the SubmitChanges method of the DataContext class, nothing updates in the database. It's weird because everything works fine with my first project. I'm using a remote database created in Sql Server Management Studio, I tried doing some queries there and in Visual Studio 2010 (where I have the connection to the database), they all work.
