  Hi, I've been working through the Nexus guide this weekend and I've got everything set up, to the point that I can publish a snapshot to my local nexus install. I can't seem to work out how to get m2eclipse to see the snapshot and offer it as an option in the Add Dependencies search panel. How do I do that? Thanks! • How to store an inventory using hashtables?

  Hello everyone. For an assignment in collego we have to make a script in Perl that allows us to manage an inventory for an e-store. (The example given was Amazon) Users can make orders in a fully text-based environment and the inventory must be updated when an order is completed. Every item in the inventory has 3 to 4 attributes: a product code, a title, a price and for some an amount (MP3's for example do not have this attribute) Since this is my first encounter with Perl, i don't really know how to start. My main problem is how i should "implement" the inventory in the program. One of the functions of the program is searching trough the titles. Another is to make an order, where the user should give a product code. My first idea was a hashtable with the productcode as key. But if i wanted to search in the titles that could be a problem because of this: the hashkey would be something like DVD-123, the information belonging to that key could be "The Green Mask 12" (without the ") where the 12 indicates how many of this DVD are currently in stock. So i'd have to find a way to ignore the 12 in the end. Another solution was to use the title as Hashkey, but that would prove cumbersome too I think. Is there a way to make a hashtable with 2 key's, and when I give only one it returns an array with the other values? (Including the other key and the other information) That way I could use another key depending on what info I need from my inventory. We have to read the default inventory from a txt file looking like this: MP3-72|Lady Gaga - Kiss and Run (Fear of Commitment Monster)|0.99 CD-400|Kings of Leon - Only By The Night|14.50|2 MP3-401|Kings of Leon - Closer|0.85 DVD-144|Live Free or Die Hard|14.99|2 SOFT-864|Windows Vista|49.95 Any help would be appreciated very much :) PS: I am sorry for my bad grammar, English isn't my native language.

  So, I'm trying to get gtksourceview python bindings work under windows (I'm developing a cross platform gtk application that shows code, so gtksourceview seemed like a natural choice). I have pygtk installed and working (I followed the instructions in http://www.pygtk.org/downloads.html) I tried the instructions in http://projects.gnome.org/gtksourceview/ for gtksourceview. Here is what I did: Downloaded and extracted the latest gtksourceview window binaries from: http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/binaries/win32/gtksourceview/2.10/gtksourceview-2.10.0.zip The website said gtksourceview needs libxml, so I downloaded and extracted the latest libxml window binaries from: http://xmlsoft.org/sources/win32/libxml2-2.7.6.win32.zip Added the folders containing dll files to the PATH (in my computer they were c:\opt\gtksourceview\bin; C:\opt\libxml2-2.7.6.win32\bin) Installed pygtksourceview with the windows installer: http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/binaries/win32/pygtksourceview/2.10/pygtksourceview-2.10.0.win32-py2.6.exe Renamed the file libxml2.dll to libxml2-2.dll (after running depends on the gtksourceview dll) Now, the gtksouceview widget seems to work, until I'm trying to set the code's language. When I do that python crashes. The following projects I noticed so far, but they all seem to have their problems: - http://farmcode.org/page/Sodality.aspx (looks most promising so far, however it requires you to create a whole new class for every AOP "call" I believe, and it forces you to follow quite a lot of restrictions, anyone has experience with it? - http://code.google.com/p/loom-as3/ (this one is discontinued) - http://code.google.com/p/floxy/ (dynamic proxy generation? this isn't really AOP as I know it, right?) - http://code.google.com/p/flemit/ (dynamic byte code generation? this is something AOP needs I think, but not the full featured AOP framework I am looking for) Does anyone know of a better solution? • Flex 4 front end connecting to Java Jersey Web Service

  I created a Java REST service using Jersey. I use three of the HTTP "verbs" GET, POST and DELETE. I want to create several prototype front ends for the service. After much research, a lot dating to 2008 and 2009, I have been unable to find anything remotely simple. My three options are: 1) resthttpservice. This project hasn't been updated in a year. The only activity are one off suggestions that individual users have implemented. http://code.google.com/p/resthttpservice/ 2) Create an AIR application. This isn't unfeasible. 3) Writing my own socket level code but there is a security restriction with flash players and I need to implement a policy server. I have already read the question posted about asking whether using Flex for REST services were worth it. That information is old as well. I want to introduce REST services to my company but Flex's limited support for HTTP PUT and DELETE are discouraging. My service also uses the Accept header to determine if JSON or XML will be returned to the client. I can't seem to change HTTP headers without doing socket programming. I'm fine with that but the security policy thing is annoying. Is there an easy way to use Flex 4 with RESTful services that uses PUT/DELETE and the Accept HTTP header? Please help. I'm very frustrated.

• Huge amount of time sending data with suds and proxy

  Hi everyone, I have the following code to send data through a proxy using suds: import suds t = suds.transport.http.HttpTransport() proxy = urllib2.ProxyHandler({'http': 'http://192.168.3.217:3128'}) opener = urllib2.build_opener(proxy) t.urlopener = opener ws = suds.client.Client('http://xxxxxxx/web.asmx?WSDL', transport=t) req = ws.factory.create('ActionRequest.request') req.SerialNumber = 'asdf' req.HostName = 'hola' res = ws.service.ActionRequest(req) I don't know why, but it can be sending data above 2 or 3 minutes, or even more and it raises a "Gateway timeout" exception sometimes. If I don't use the proxy, the amount of time used is above 2 seconds or less. Here is the SOAP reply: (ActionResponse){ Id = None Action = "Action.None" Objects = "" } The proxy is running right with other requests through urllib2, or using normal web browsers like firefox. Does anyone have any idea what's happening here with suds? Thanks a lot in advance!!!

  Due to CSS limitations I am forced to stack to semi-transparent images on my website. I won't go into detail regarding the CSS since if I can get this question answered the problem is moot. Anyway, I would like to modify image A in the GIMP such that it will look like it did originally after being stacked on top of image B. Both image A and image B have their opacities set to 50%. Image B is a solid color throughout, whereas image A has some minor details such as a gradient. • How can I write a "user can only access own profile page" type of security check in Play Framework?

  I have a Play framework application that has a model like this: A Company has one and only one User associated with it. I have URLs like http://www.example.com/companies/1234, http://www.example.com/companies/1234/departments, http://www.example.com/companies/1234/departments/employees and so on. The numbers are the company id's, not the user id's. I want that normal users (not admins) should only be able to access their own profile pages, not other people's profile pages. So a user associated with the company with id 1234 should not be able to access the URL http://www.example.com/companies/6789 I tried to accomplish this by overriding Secure.check() and comparing the request parameter "id" to the ID of the company associated with the logged in user. However, this obviously fails if the parameter is called anything else than "id". Does anyone know how this could be accomplished?
