  • SharePoint 2010 custom search from Layouts page

    Hi, I am querying SharePoint 2010 search using FullTextSqlQuery. The query returns results as long as i run it from the webpart. However, for some reason, i need to run the same query from a custom aspx page deployed under layouts. The query returns a wcf exception. Has anyone tried running custom queries from pages deployed to layouts folder under 14 hive? Thanks, Faiz

    I'm running the latest Mercurial and Python 2.6; IIS6 is using the wildcard ISAPI method to attach the site to the Mecurial hgwebdir_wsgi [paths] \ = \\COMP3254\TestRepo\* [web] baseurl = / allow_push = * push_ssl = false style = monoblue The setup works perfectly if I reference the local drive E:\repo* but doesnt work if I specify the network as above; I've given the server (MERCDEV01$) full permissions on the shared folder on COMP3254, I can't think of any other reason it wouldn't work. Any ideas?

I have used Vault, where you can have 2 or more files/folders linked in a repository so updating one updates another. Is there a way to do the same thing with Mercurial?

    After following the instructions in INSTALL.W64 I have two problems: The code is still written to the "out32" folder. I need to be able to link to both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the library on my workstation, so I don't want the 64-bit versions to clobber the 32-bit libs. The output is still 32-bit! This means that I get "unresolved external symbol" errors when trying to link to the libraries from an x64 app.

I am using TortoiseHG for source code control in Windows, I forgot to edit the ".hgignor" file, and now I have a huge folder ".hg" which I know it's because of DLL and EXE and PDB files which I do not need them.     on Linux 12.04 I have an executable file located in say: /a/b/exe and a config file on /a/b/config when doing: cd /a/b/ ./exe everything's ok and the stat function finds the file config on /a/b/ HOWEVER,when running from root /a/b/exe the stat doesn't find the config file any idea why? it makes it impossible to run the binary using a script that isn't ran from the folder of the exe....
