• MSBuild script fails but produces no errors

  I have a MSBuild script that I am executing through TeamCity. One of the tasks that is runs is from Xheo DeploxLX CodeVeil which obfuscates some DLLs. The task I am using is called VeilProject. I have run the CodeVeil Project through the interface manually and it works correctly, so I think I can safely assume that the actual obfuscate process is ok. This task used to take around 40 minutes and the rest of the MSBuild file executed perfectly and finished without errors. For some reason this task is now taking 1hr 20 minutes or so to execute. Once the VeilProject task is finished the output from the task says it completely successfully, however the MSBuild script fails at this point. I have a task directly after the VeilProject task and it does not get outputted. Using diagnostic output from MSBUild I can see the following: My questions are: Would it be possible that the MSBuild script has timed out? Once the task has completed it is after a certain timeout period so it just fails? Why would the build fail with no errors and no warnings? [05:39:06]: [Target "Obfuscate"] Finished. • Singleton EXC_BAD_ACCESS

  Hi, so I have a class that I decleare as a singleton and in that class I have a NSMutableArray that contains some NSDictionaries with some key/value pairs in them. The trouble is it doesn't work and I dont't know why... I mean it crashes with EXC_BAD_ACCESS but i don't know where. How can I correct this problem? logged is a variable which helps determine whether the user is logged in or not. When the user is logged in $_SESSION['logged'] is set, otherwise unset. I want the default value of $_SESSION['logged'] to be unset prior to the execution of the script. How can I solve this problem?

  Well, I have an ActiveX (*.ocx) component, and i use it in a managed C++/CLI project: write a managed wrapper around ActiveX component[ NET has a great Interop services : provides me genarated dll so i can easily use it in my managed code] The problem is that Visual Studio (2008) automatically copy the generated Interop *.dll to the directory where my *.exe file stay.But i want put all my genarated Interop *.dll to a folder ... Suppose My directory structure is so: D:\MyProject\Output\MyProject.exe //My mamanged exe D:\MyProject\Output\Interop.XXXLib.1.0.dll // *Interop .dll I want to put Interop.XXXLib.1.0.dll into new folder D:\MyProject\Output\Interops and use it from that directory...How Can i do it? • JQuery Hover does not work Mozilla

  I have the following Snippet of code.The hover has a problem in Mozilla - It changes color on hover but some times it does not revert back when we go out.Mind you it only happens sometimes.Also in such cases if I examine the HTML using FireBug I can see that the Extra Class is assigned even after hover is out.It works OK on IE .This is a simplified version Also as you can see I am setting color on the TR.But this does not change the Color on TextBoxes inside TR. • Is the following C code safe?

In real code i get char* as a return of a function and i wish to print the character string for logging. However, NULL is also a valid return value of that function and so i am wondering if a null check is required before printing the character string? char* ptr=someFuncion(); // do i need the following if statement? if(ptr!=NULL) { printf("%s",ptr); } I just want to be sure that the output would be same i.e if ptr=NULL then output should be (null) on all platforms and compilers and the above code(without if statement) would not crash on any C standard compatible platform. • WriteableBitmap failing badly, pixel array very inaccurate

  I have tried, literally for hours, and I have not been able to budge this problem. I have a UserControl, that is 800x369, and it contains, simply, a path that forms a worldmap. I put this on a landscape page, then I render it into a WriteableBitmap. I then run a conversion to turn the 1d Pixels array into a 2d array of integers. Then, to check the conversion, I wire up the custom control's click command to use the Point.X and Point.Y relative to the custom control in the newly created array. My logic is thus: wb = new WriteableBitmap(worldMap, new TranslateTransform()); wb.Invalidate(); intTest = wb.Pixels.To2DArray(wb.PixelWidth); My conversion logic is as such: public static int[,] To2DArray(this int[] arr,int rowLength) { int[,] output = new int[rowLength, arr.Length / rowLength]; if (arr.Length % rowLength != 0) throw new IndexOutOfRangeException(); for (int i = 0; i < arr.Length; i++) { output[i % rowLength, i / rowLength] = arr[i]; } return output; } Now, when I do the checking, I get completely and utterly strange results: apparently all pixels are either at values of -1 or 0, and these values are completely independent of the original colours. • XSLT line counter - is it that hard?

  I have cheated every time I've needed to do a line count in XSLT by using JScript, but in this case I can't do that. I simply want to write out a line counter throughout an output file. This basic example has a simple solution: <xsl:for-each select="Records/Record"> <xsl:value-of select="position()"/> </xsl:for-each> Output would be: 1 2 3 4 etc... But what if the structure is more complex with nested foreach's : <xsl:for-each select="Records/Record"> <xsl:value-of select="position()"/> <xsl:for-each select="Records/Record"> <xsl:value-of select="position()"/> </xsl:for-each> </xsl:for-each> Here, the inner foreach would just reset the counter (so you get 1, 1, 2, 3, 2, 1, 2, 3, 1, 2 etc). Does anyone know how I can output the position in the file (ie. a line count)?

• jquery change event not working with IE6

  It is indeed quite unfortunate that my client still uses IE6. using jquery 1.4.2 The problem is that I open a window using a click event and do some edit operation in the new window. I have a 'change' event attached to the row of a table which has input fields. Now when the window loads for the first time and I make a change in the input for the FIRST time, the change event does not fire. however, on a second try it starts working. • How can I overlay images over one another in Java?

  So I have been posting all over and have yet to get a solid answer: I have created an image resizing class, with a crop method. The cropping works great. The issue that I am having is the background color that I specify in the drawImage function of Graphics is not working correctly. It defaults to black as the background regardless of what I supply (in this case Color.WHITE). Also, the overlaying image or top most image (comes from a file) is being inverted (I think it is) or otherwise discolored. Just so you can conceptualize this a little bit better, I am taking a jpeg and overlaying it on top of a new BufferedImage, the new buffered image's background is not being set. • How to do parrallel processing in Unix Shell script?

  I have a shell script that transfers a build.xml file to a remote unix machine (devrsp02) and executes the ANT task wldeploy on that machine (devrsp02). Now, this wldeploy task takes around 15 minutes to complete and while this is running, the last line at the unix console is - "task {some digit} initialized". Once this task is complete, we get a "task Completed" msg and the next task in the script is executed only after that. But sometimes, there might be a problem with the weblogic domain and the deployment might be failing internally, with no effect on the status of the wldeploy task. The unix console will still be stuck at "task {some digit} initialized". The error of the deployment will be getting logged in a file called output.a So, what I want now is - Start a time counter before running wldeploy. If the wldeploy runs for more than 15 minutes, the following command should be run - tail -f output.a ## without terminating the wldeploy or cat output.a ## after terminating the wldeploy forcefully Point to be noted here is - I can't run the wldeploy task in background, as in that case the user won't get to know when the task is complete, which is crucial for this script. Could you please suggest anything to achieve this?

• why doesn't IE8 refresh textbox right away?(Jquery)

  I have 3 radio buttons and one textbox in my page. These 3 radio controls represent corresponding choice and among them, the third one enables textbox that is disabled by default. If user clicks any one from the first twos after clicking the third, the textbox will be emptied(if user input any) and disabled again. The problem is, in IE, the textbox isn't emptied not until I click back once again on the said textbox. I've used jquery val methods as well as attr but nothing seems to work. You can see my code as follows. The very same code works just fine in Mozilla. • CSS: Possible to define styles mid way through an html document?

  In ASP.NET MVC, there are these snippets of html called view templates which appear when their matching data appears on the screen. For example, if you have a customer order and it has a vendor address, the vendor address view template shows up populated with data. Unfortunately, these don't have access to "MasterPages" nor are aware of their CSS surroundings. Instead of loading these up with style tags, is there any way to create partial CSS files that could work for that particular html snippet, a sort of in-line CSS style section? It would be really nice to plop this down just before we render the partial view: <style type="text/css"> input { margin: .2em .2em; overflow: hidden; width: 18.8em; height: 1.6em; border: 1px solid black;} </style> to have the 15 or so input fields in that particular Html snippet be formatted the same. These are swapped out, so the positions of the input fields change. This may also imply a CSS reset on each partial view.

But when I do this. The labels will be visible even if I did not yet click on the button that will make it visible(but without the checkboxes). And when I click on that button, that's the only time when the checkbox will appear on the left side of the labels. The checkbox is ok, but the label is not. And the javascript is working properly. What do I do so that the checkbox and label will go together?

• How do I fork correctly in a perl module for znc?

  I'm currently writing an IRC bot. The scripts are loaded as perl modules in ZNC but the bot gets disconnected with an Input/Output error if I create a forked process.   Hello, I an quite new to jQuery and I have a problem while trying to create a form. I am using the Validation plugin for validate the email (one the form's field). When I click the Submit button I want to call my own function because I want to save the data in an XML file.   Hey, my Qt C++ program has a part where it needs to send the first 128 characters or so of the output of a bash command to an email address.   I have been toiling with a problem and any help would be appreciated. Problem: I have a paragraph and I want to replace a variable which appears several times (Variable = @Variable). This is the easy part, but the portion which I am having difficulty is trying to replace the variable with different values. I need for each occurrence to have a different value. For instance, I have a function that does a calculation for each variable. What I have thus far is below: private string SetVariables(string input, string pattern){ Regex rx = new Regex(pattern); MatchCollection matches = rx.Matches(input); int i = 1; if(matches.Count > 0) { foreach(Match match in matches) { rx.Replace(match.ToString(), getReplacementNumber(i)); i++ } } I am able to replace each variable that I need to with the number returned from getReplacementNumber(i) function, but how to I put it back into my original input with the replaced values, in the same order found in the match collection?
