• drupal views block arguments

  I currently have a view (Drupal 6 using Views2) that properly aggregates a custom content type (videos) and filters them for a page display. When I create a block display, it previews the results in live preview just great, but when i go to the page expecting to see the block it doesn't appear. I'm fairly certain the argument I'm attempting to pass it fails because when I select "Display all results" for "Action to take if argument does not validate:" the block shows up on the page just fine. Any advice definitely appreciated.

  I'm trying to use Registration.SensorTypeValue.MAGNETIC_FIELD in SmartWatch's 2 plugin. But values that I received put me into some dissapointed state, cause of few reason: Values is to big (I tested magnetic fields on 3 phones and result is like "-12. , 38, -14", and the watch give me something like "488, 440, -115") Values are almost static, they live in very small range. What's wrong with me or with the watch? I think this question is for Sony support team.

  Do you know any easy way to find a logging call that throws "not enough argumenst for format string". On my workstation I've modified logging/__init__.py to print the msg so I can easily find the line in the source. But do you have any idea what to do on the testing environment where you can't change python standard library nor run pdb easily?

  I'm using the symbol \otimes as a unary operator and it's vertical alignment doesn't seem right to me. It wants to sit a bit below the baseline: and I tried using \raisebox to fix this, e.g., \raisebox{1pt}{$\otimes$}: But \raisebox doesn't seem to be sensitive to subscripts. The operator stays the same size while everything around it shrinks: The problem, I think, is that \raisebox creates its own LR box, which doesn't inherit the settings in the surrounding math environment. Is there a version of \raisebox that "respects math"?

I'm having a problem with the relative paths for those resources, so I did what I've found in another stackoverflow question, which said that this was a valid way: ClassInTheSamePackageOfTheResource.class.getResourceAsStream('resource.xml'); Sadly this does not work.   Hi, I've seen iphone related open source library which says something like, "You need 4.0+ iOS build environment but the code will run on 3.0+ iOS device." I wonder how those two requirements can differ and how can I tell a minimum 'device' iOS version which a certain api would need. For instance I want to use UIGestureRecognizer but the apple doc says it's 3.2+, but I want my app run on 3.12+. Is there a difference between build os requirement and device os requirement to run an app? Thank you

  I'd like to display a little popup window next to the notification area. It's similar to what Outlook/Skype/Live! Messenger/etc does when it displays the notification about a new message. In my case it will have some input controls (textbox, datetimepicker, buttons...) so a simple bubble won't do. The trick is doing this correctly when the user has multiple monitors and/or the taskbar is not located at the bottom of the screen.
