  • Problems trying to run fitnesse on cyngwin.

    Hey there everyone... I was trying to run fitnesse on cyngwin using the command "run -p 8585" but it doesnt work at all... I checked with the command echo $PATH and Cyngwin is recognising the OS variables... Someone know what can be the problem ? PS: The command does work on the windows prompt! Thanks in advance

    ok so im having an issue with Flash CS5. I have a sound looping, and my animation is only 13 frames long, while the song is like a minute long, so each time the animation loops threw the default "Loop Playback" a new sound audio is played which os overlapping the previous over and over causing a massive echo effect. Whats the best way to loop both of them insync, or atleast copy and paste the animations frames and make it the length of the song?

Running ld source.o produces the following output: Undefined symbols: "_printf", referenced from: _main in source.o ld: symbol(s) not found for inferred architecture x86_64 How can I reference libSystem(or whatever library includes printf) using ld?

  • iPhone app works hundreds of times, then crashes from memory error on startup, then never works unti

    I have a Cocos2d/openGL iPhone game. It's a universal app and I'm dealing with an occasional but nasty error on the iPad. We are loading a lot of textures up front (3 2048x2048 textures). I'm working on reducing this up front load, but what worries me is I really don't understand the root cause of this crash that permanently breaks the app. This is the deal: 1. App works fine for hundreds of plays on the iPad 2. Eventually (I'm guessing due to other programs using up some memory and not letting go or whatever) the app starts crashing on startup. It just closes again in the middle of loading. 3. The App will now never work again on that iPad, closing immediately every time, until the iPad is restarted. Obviously my app is demanding too much memory up front to work reliably every time, I get that. What I don't get is why when it fails once, it has failed forever until the iPad is restarted. Can anyone explain what is going on here? EDIT: forgot to add organizer crash lags just say low memory, like this every time (I changed my app name to MyAppName below).   • Does Win 2008 r2 x64 server come with .net 3 sp1 package already installed?

    same as in title? I have a test server with mentioned OS and my app is .net 3.5 based. I do want to know if win 2008 r2 comes with service pack 1 for .net 3.5 from the box. And does it come with .net 3.5 sp1 family update as WELL, since after I downloaded the update, the installer says I do not have software required to update. Could some win 2008 guru perhaps explain it to me? thanks luke

    I have a thread I use to periodically update the data in my Activity. I create the thread and start a looper for using a handler with postDelay(). In onDestroy() for my activity, I call removeCallbacks() on my handler. Should I then call handler.getLooper().quit()? Or not worry about it and let the OS deal with it? Or would it just run forever then, consuming CPU cycles?

  • Where to check for heap memory size and its usage statistics etc... in windows?

    Lets say I open some application or process. Did some work with that. Now I closed it. Need to know whether this application caused any memory leak. i.e used up some heap memory and not cleared it properly. Can I get this statistics some how? I'm using Visual Studio (for development) under Windows OS. Even I would be interested in knowing this information for any 3rd party application.
