• jar dependencies in android- no class definition found exception

  I'm trying to use the gdata java client library on android and have managed a decent hack to get it working. However because the jar for gdata had some package discrepancies with android I had to import the source into my project. This source is dependent on the JavaMail API and the JavaBeans Activation Framework as specified here. My issue is that the JavaMail jar throws a class definition not found when seeking a class which is in the Activation Framework jar. A stack trace is listed below. I am working in Eclipse and have both jars in a lib folder and added to my build path. • MooTools: Fade out element?

  I have an Element object that I'm currently calling .hide() on. Instead, I'd like to fade out the opacity of the entire Element (and its children) to 100% (hidden) as a transition effect over maybe 500 ms or 1000 ms. Can Fx.Tween be used for this? Is this possible--does the MooTools framework have an effect like this in its UI library?

• .NET read binary contents of .lnk file

  I want to read the binary contents of a .lnk file. As long as the target of the shortcut (lnk file) exists this works fine with IO.File.ReadAllBytes(string file). BUT If the target of the shortcut does not exist (believe me I want this) the method only returns zero's. I guess this is because the OS follows the link and if it does not exist it returns zero's Is there some way to bypass the fact that the framework follows the target of the .lnk before displaying the contents of the .lnk file?

  If it's possible to change mock behaviour in Rhino Mocks using mock.Stub().Return(), why do we need Stubs anyway? What do we lose by always using MockRepository.GenerateMock()? One big benefit of using Mocks instead of Stubs is that we will be able to reuse the same instance among all the tests keeping them cleaner and straightforward. The moq framework works in a similar way... we don't have different objects for mocks and stubs. (please, don't answer with a link to Fowler's "Mocks aren't stubs" article)
