zend studio 5.5.1 on windows xp - won't open!

I have been using zend studio 5.5.1 for the last year and and a half (on windows xp), with some occasional issues, such as a blank error dialog box when I started the program, but always went away when i restarted my computer, and usually got messages about javaw.exe errors. But now, the program does not open at all. What happens is, I get a little dialog that says Loading project - this is normal... but then, nothing. The zend program item is sitting in the taskbar, but when i click on it - nothing! there is nothing to show. i can right click and press close, but that is all. restarting computer did not help. i just uninstalled it, downloaded again from zend website, and reinstalled. tried opening - get loading box, seems to have loaded, even got tip of the day box. but there is nothing showing behind them. once i closed the tip box, i dont have any indication that zend is open besides the program item in the taskbar. windows task manager says it is running... anyone have a clue? help!!! thanks

Simple javascript/jquery append, remove question

Hey guys, quick question. I have a div that on click will execute a jquery function onclick, and then replace the div with its opposite div which onclick will replace back to the first div just like the favorite function on this site. I am having a simple problem I hope someone can spot or explain to me it is not possible. The function works with the initial two divs that are served directly, but when I click on either of the original two divs, and the function executes and replaces the div with the corresponding div the replacement div does not execute the function. I have to refresh the page to get the original div, which is identical to execute the function. Is the div actually replaced on the page with append, or does it just visually show it? What's the status of the HTML 5 <video> tag and webcam integration?

Even though it seems to be in some kind of jeopardy, the open video standard is a great idea. I saw some demos on motion tracking with it - just proofs-of-concept, but interesting nonetheless. Now, I'd say that concepts like these would really be a gain, if there would be access to the user's webcam... Just imagine browsing through Flickr with your hands in mid-air. I have Googled a little, but I can't find any detailed discussion on the subject. It is mentioned in some places, but that doesn't get me very far. Does anybody know whether support for this is planned? If yes, any prognosis on the 'when'? ;-) Of course, I guess they'd have to dream up a pretty good security model for it...

$_POST Variable Detected in Chrome but not in Firefox

I am using 2 images in a form to sort out query results from the database. The form is submitted using the POST method. When i click on the first image, the query results have to be sorted in ascending order, and when i click on the second, the results have to be sorted in the descending order. This is the code for the form: <form name="" action="" method="post"> <input type="hidden" name="typep" value="price" /> <input type="image" name="sort" value="asc" src="images/asc-ar.png" /> <input type="image" name="sort" value="desc" src="images/dsc-ar.png" /> </form> Now this is the code for checking if the $_REQUEST['sort'] variable is set and therefore whether sorting is required or not. if ($_REQUEST['sort'] != "") { $sort = $_REQUEST['sort']; $typep = $_REQUEST['typep']; //query to be executed depending on values of $sort and $typep } Firefox does detect the $_REQUEST['typep'] variable but not the $_REQUEST['sort'] one. This works perfectly in Chrome though. When i test the site in Firefox, it doesn't detect the $_REQUEST['sort'] variable and therefore the if condition evaluates to false and the search results don't get sorted.

Changing the value of a variable

I'm trying to build a simple scoring app but I'm running into a problem trying to keep it so I don't have to repeat a bunch of code to deal with each 'base' individually. The basic idea is that when I click a button the script will; 1) grab the ID of said button 2) split the ID into two parts - (a) the bases name and (b) the button type (plus/minus) 3) if it's plus - add to the bases score, if it's minus - subtract from the bases score 4) update the assigned div with the new value The part I'm stuck at is adding and subtracting. I can't seem to get this to work. HI Guys I have the same issue and I am looking to solve it. Here is detail I have two web sites WebsiteA and WebSiteB (WebsiteB is not in my control, A type of black box for me.). Both websites have seprate login page I have alist of users,password of websiteB which I stored in database. I want a kind of common login page. If user is login to websiteA and he want to go to websiteB, he dont have to enter the login and password information again. I can not touch the code of websiteB. it's alredy deployed and runing. In websiteB in login form they have a Userid textbox and Password textbox and and a login Button. This butoon is not a submit button. It has a click event which calls a function to validate the user. it's not a simple post. WebsiteB has one webpage which has different frames. After login sucessfull. The pages doesnt go to any other page it remain on the same page but load the different frame. According to my knowledge. I can use httpwebrequest class. But faceing the following problem. Can not click the button. Response.Redirect does not work. It seems that WebsiteB is not storing any thing in cookies as cookies always return me a empty string I really appriciate if anyone can help me on it. How Can I use response.Redirect . As when I redirect it shows me the same login page.

JQuery not removeing added element

What I want to do is add and remove list items. I have got it to add new items to the list and I can remove existing ones but not the ones that have been added. It seem like it would work but it doesn't. Any help would be appreciated! Creating new Entities from Stored Procedure

I have a stored procedure that retrieves existing rows from a table and also creates includes new rows that match the table definition and mapped entity (.net 3.5 entity framework). These new rows are not written to the database in the stored procedure. The stored procedure executes, but the new rows that were created will not load the navigation properties sucessfully i.e. the rows that do not actually exist in the database. e.g. database rows: key, data, FK 1, xxx, a 2, xxx, b returned rows from stored procedure: key, data, FK 1, xxx, a 2, xxx, b 3, yyy, a 4, yyy, b The entity will load FK entities a and b for rows 1 and 2, but for rows 3 and 4 the FK entity is null. Do I somehow need to add the new rows to the data context? or turn off tracking?

I might have a list of anchors within which there may be a number of spans. I bind a handler to the click event of the anchor but the event object comes back with the anchor OR one of the spans depending on where I click. So to get my html5 "data-info" value into the callback I have to insert a bit of messy code. This is now appearing throughout my code to the point where I am guessing there might be an idiomatic JQuery way of handling this.

I'm working through a small file upload script (learning experience) and I noticed that when selecting microsoft office related files (.doc or .docx for example) the file objects do not have a type specified: For .doc files I had expected the type to be "application/msword" and along the same train of thought .docx to be "application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document". In the cases when the type cannot be determined is the correct course of action to look at the file extension and match that to the "expected" content / mime type? PHP SDK Requires two logins...doesn't recognize first

I am using the following code to authenticate whether users are logged in or not. While users can log in, they have to click the login button twice. Additionally, sometimes even after they click the log-in button twice, my "user info" part of the page (earlier in the page than the content) shows them as logged out while the actual page shows them as logged in. Here is the code. I am using MySQL DB and I have created a PHP script for the following, now i need the idea for the below asked question.... please help... I have a table called audit trail whose structure is: id, trackid, table, operation, newvalue, oldvalue, field, changedone I have created triggers for insert/update/delete for every table of same DB, now whenever there is change in ny DB the triggers get activated and updates the Audit trail table accordingly.. I am tracking these changes so that i can use these changes to be done on production DB which is of same structure as of this test DB. Also when the admin finds that he does not need the changes recently he did for production DB then he can rollback it using the Old Data it stored in Ausittrail table of test db. Now here in audit trail table structure, there will be an insert for every single field change like-wise if a table has 4 fields then the change in that tavle will insert 4 rows in audit trail.. Coming to the question now, How can i find the latest change done from the Audit table so that I can insert these changes in Production DB.

How do i set this window to topmost?

How do i set my window above all other? I need a bad but noticeable msg box that closes on its own. Msg is a dummy form which is empty. All i want is its title. The problems with the code is the window isnt created 0,0 (its just whereever windows feels like putting it). The width is correct but i notice if i click firefox or another app window my app doesnt pop up. I know it is being shown bc i can see it in the taskbar at the bottom for a brief second. Cross version line matching.

I'm considering how to do automatic bug tracking and as part of that I'm wondering what is available to match source code line numbers (or more accurate numbers mapped from instruction pointers via something like addr2line) in one version of a program to the same line in another. (Assume everything is in some kind of source control and is available to my code) The simplest approach would be to use a diff tool/lib on the files and do some math on the line number spans, however this has some limitations: It doesn't handle cross file motion. It might not play well with lines that get changed It doesn't look at the information available in the intermediate versions. It provides no way to manually patch up lines when the diff tool gets things wrong. It's kinda clunky Before I start diving into developing something better: What already exists to do this? What features do similar system have that I've not thought of?

Page does update with details from the database after i hit a button

I have a code and the way it should work is,when they click on NEW CUSTOMER,it takes them to test1.php where in they enter the details and they hit submit.it saves all the details in properly in the database and when i go back and hit REFRESH ,it should come up with the customer details which they had entered in previously. But what happens is, when i click on the REFRESH,it refreshes the same old page which is empty.I wanted to find out where am i missing the logic.Thanks in advance. JQuery ajax success help

Hi all, I am implementing a "Quick delete" function into a page I am creating. The way it works is like this: 1: You click the "delete" button in the table row for the record that you want to delete. 2: The page sends a request to the ajax page and return a successfully message of "yes" or a failure message of "no". My issue is that if I get a successful message of "yes" I want to hide the row for that record. I am having issue "finding" the row using JQuery. determine week when pick a day

I'm trying to accomplish the following task. I'm developing a custom calendar with three views (day,week and month), there may be something out there already but I'm rewriting this as part of learning tool for me as well. So user will face with Day view when they first visit, with arrows to go back and forth to next day or previous day of course. If they click on Week View, it will give them a 7 days overview with today date as default, and once again they can go back and forth to next week or previous week. The last view is the full month calendar, once they click on the day, it will give them the detail of the day and at the same time reset the default as the day they pick. So if they go back to week view, they will see the detail for the week contain the day that they picked. This is where I have trouble wrapping my head around with, I know there are PHP functions that determine the day of the week but I can't seem to think about how to pass in the date and get the full week starting from Sunday for the day that passed in. For example, if I passed in 10/12/2012, I'd like to start the week at 10/07/12 - 10/13/12. Thank you kindly for your help or pointing to the right direction. Please excuse my grammar/spelling mistakes as well.

What information about a user is available via PHP?

This is about a classifieds website, where anyone may post classifieds. I have a security database which I intend to fill with information about the user who posts the classifieds. I intend to record information such as IP, name, tel, email, classified_text, classified_title etc etc. The reason for all this is that sometimes people become victims of fraud (fake classifieds etc). So I wonder, what information is possible to get from the poster which may help in tracking him/her down? IP is a given, but what else could be useful? And I would much like examples of how it would be useful also, as well as the code for it please, like $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']. And btw, I use PHP and have Sql as a database. Thanks
