  • Ubuntu 12.10 Jerky mouse movments

    As the Title indicates I have some problem with delicate movement of the mouse in Ubuntu 12.10 fresh installation. The jerkiness is shown more at small and slow movements when the mouse will move a 2 millimeters to any random positions every 5 centimeters of movements. my mouse is a Microsoft Sidewinder Gaming mouse. is there any driver I can use to fix it or any configuration? this is happening both in unity or inside games and programs.

  • Genymotion in Ubuntu

    Is there anybody to help me? I've installed Virtualbox and Genymotion on Ubuntu successfully. Then I selected Samsung Galaxy s5 4.4.2 on Genymotion, downloaded it succesfully either, but I've got problems in installation of APK. So I did genymotion translation 1.1 and gapps-kk, but yet my APK didn't work. When I started Genymotion appeared viber, tango, Google service, etc, but unfortunately it has stopped.

  • Boot menu doesn't show up

    I found some topics about dualbooting, but nothing was exactly what I need, so: I have Win7 and I installed Ubuntu 12.04 LTS from a flash drive. Everything went smoothly and I was given the "for installation to finish, need to reboot" screen. I removed the flash drive, the PC restarted. I was expecting to be greeted with the menu where I choose the OS I want to launch, but instead the Windows happily starts.

    I have configure our Monit to monitor some of the application in our linux box (httpd,mysqld,etc...).We can receive alerts when using gmail SMTP to send email through it but it failed when we are using our exchange SMTP. Here are the gmail configuration in the monitrc : set mailserver smtp.gmail.com port 587 # primary mailserver username "[email protected]" password "mypasswd" using tlsv1 with timeout 30 seconds and it failed when I changed it to this configuration : set mailserver outlook.automanage.net port 587 # primary mailserver username "[email protected]" password "mypasswd" using tlsv1 with timeout 30 seconds I can telnet my exchange server,so the exchange server is alive and can be connected. Did I miss anything here?Or do I need to need configure something in our exchange server?

    I've installed ELMAH 1.1 .Net 3.5 x64 in my ASP.NET project and now I'm getting this error (whenever I try to see any page): Could not load file or assembly 'System.Data.SQLite, Version=1.0.61.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=db937bc2d44ff139' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.BadImageFormatException: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Data.SQLite, Version=1.0.61.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=db937bc2d44ff139' or one of its dependencies. My Active Solution platform is "Any CPU" and I'm running on a x64 Windows 7 on an x64, of course, processor. I've tried compiling for x86 and x64 and I get the same error. I've tried removing the all compiler output (bin and obj).   • COMException when trying to use a Library

    Hi Guys, I have an ASP.net WebService which uses a Library, this has a dependency on some third party .dlls. If I add a reference to the Library to my webservice, I get a COMException and I can't load the site. I thought it may be to do with aspnet user credentials, so I have tried impersonating and using processModel in machine.config but nothing seems to work. The .dlls are for communicating with hardware so I am not even using them on the server just other parts of the library, is there any way I can fix this? I'm running on Windows XP Pro SP3 with Visual 2008 SP1 and .net 3.5. I am thinking the only way of fixing it, is to split up the library into hardware and non-hardware based.   • Eclipse buildtime and runtime classpaths for easy execution of junit test cases

    Hey, I've a large eclipse project with multiple junit classes. I'm trying to strike a balance between adding runtime resources to the eclipse project classpath, and the need to configure mutliple junit launch configurations. I realise the default eclipse build classpath is inherited by all unit test configurations, but some of my tests require extra runtime resources. I could add these resources to the build classpath, but this does slow my overall project build time (since it has to keep more files in synch). I don't like the idea of including * resources and jars on the runtime classpath. The two options that i have are these, the positive and negative cases as i see it are listed 1 : Add all runtime resources to eclipse classpath. POS I can select a unit test and run it without having to configure the test classpath. POS Extra resources on build classpath means eclipse slows down. NEG More difficult to ensure each test uses the correct resources. 2 : Configure the classpath of each unit test POS I know exactly what resources are being used by a test. POS Smaller build classpath means quicker build and execution by eclipse. NEG Its a pain having to setup multiple separate junit runtime classpaths. Ideally i'd like to configure one base junit runtime configuration, which takes the default eclipse build classpath, adds extra runtime jars and resources. This configuration could then be reused by the specific junit test cases, Is anything like this possible?   • Maven antrun with sequential ant-contrib fails to run

    We have a special routine to explode files in a subfolder into extensions, which will be copied and jared into single extension files. For this special approach I wanted to use the maven-antrun-plugin, for the sequential iteration and jar packaging through the dirset, we need the library ant-contrib.     Hi all, I'm trying to create a continuous integration environment. To do so, I've used a guide that can be found at http://www.15seconds.com/issue/040621.htm. In this step by step, the goal is to create a CI with CCNet, NAnt, NUni, NDoc, FxCop and source safe. I've been able to create my build by using the command prompt (despite the the different versions issues). The problem has come with the configuration of ccnet.config I've made some changes because of the new versions, but I'm still getting errors when starting the CCNet server. Can anyone help me to fix this issue or point where to find a guide with this scenario? The error that I'm getting: Unable to instantiate CruiseControl projects from configuration document. Configuration document is likely missing Xml nodes required for properly populating CruiseControl configuration. Later I found that there is a bug (or missing functionality?) in maven exec plugin, because of which the application process blocks the maven process. To address this issue, I have encapsulated the invocation of MyApp.java in a shell script and then appended “/dev/null 2&1 &” to spawn a separate background process. Here is the snip (this is just a snip and not the actual one) from runTest.sh: java - DMY_APP_HOME =$2 com.foo.MyApp > /dev/null 2>&1 & Although this solves my issue, is there any other way to do it? Am I missing any argument for exec-maven-plugin?

    I'm trying to unit test a controller, but can't figure out how to pass some extra parameters to the routeMatch object. But the result is, only one file is installed (attached) to the artifact. The maven protocol is: distrib-0.1-SNAPSHOT.zip distrib-0.1-SNAPSHOT.zip The plugin is using the artifact-id instead of property finalName! Is this a bug?     I have a WCF service and a Windows client. They communicate via a Duplex WCF channel which when I run from within a single network domain runs fine, but when I put the server on a separate network domain I get the following message in the WCF server trace... The message with to 'net.tcp://abc:8731/ActiveAreaService/mex/mex' cannot be processed at the receiver, due to an AddressFilter mismatch at the EndpointDispatcher. Check that the sender and receiver's EndpointAddresses agree. So, it looks like the communication just work in one direction (from client to server) if the components are in two separate domains. The Network domains are fully trusted, so I'm a little confused as to what else could cause this?   • unpack dependency and repack classes using maven?

    I am trying to unpack a maven artifact A and repack it into a new jar file in the maven project B. Unpacking class files from artifact A into: <my.classes.folder>${project.build.directory}/staging</my.classes.folder> works fine using this: <plugin> <groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId> <artifactId>maven-dependency-plugin</artifactId> <executions> <execution> <id>unpack</id> <phase>generate-resources</phase> <goals> <goal>unpack</goal> </goals> <configuration> <artifactItems> <artifactItem> <groupId>com.test</groupId> <artifactId>mvn-sample</artifactId> <version>1.0.0-SNAPSHOT</version> <type>jar</type> <overWrite>true</overWrite> <outputDirectory>${my.classes.folder}</outputDirectory> <includes>**/*.class,**/*.xml</includes> </artifactItem> </artifactItems> </configuration> </execution> </executions> </plugin> In the same pom I now want to generate an additional jar containing the classes just unpacked: <plugin> <groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId> <artifactId>maven-jar-plugin</artifactId> <version>2.4</version> <executions> <execution> <phase>package</phase> <goals> <goal>jar</goal> </goals> <configuration> <classesdirectory>${my.classes.folder}</classesdirectory> <classifier>sample</classifier> </configuration> </execution> </executions> </plugin> A new jar is created but it does not contain the classes from the: ${my.classes.folder} its simply a copy of the default project jar. Any ideas? I have tried to follow this guide: http://jkrishnaraotech.blogspot.dk/2011/06/unpack-remove-some-classes-and-repack.html but its not working.
