• How do I generate C# code from WADL files?

  I am looking for a code generator than can generate C# code to access RESTful web services described by WADL files in a way similar to how wadl2java works. Doing som searching I came across the rest-api-code-gen project on Google Code, but although the latest source does in fact support C#, the REST Describe & Compile demo site does not. (The C# button is there, but it's disabled.) I realize I could download the source and set up my own server with the latest version, but I would prefer not to, as what I need is a command line tool and not a web application with dependencies to Google Web Toolkit. I guess I could write my own a command line tool based on the same source code, but if it has already been done, or other tools can do the job, I'd rather avoid it. So, I'm wondering, are there any tools like that out there?

  I just upgraded to m2eclipse version 0.10 which includes an embedded Maven 3 and I'm now getting the following error when trying to run a build. • iPhone SDK: selectRowAtIndexPath with delegate methods

  Hi SO I am using selectRowAtIndexPath to select a tableview in the same ViewController class, but this does not run the delegate methods, eg: tableView:didSelectRowAtIndexPath I would like these delegate methods to also be called. Is there another API call I can be using?   I am experimenting with the new Safari 5 extensions JS API and I am having an issue right from the ground up, I want to use an XMLHttpRequest to get an RSS feed from a website however upon the .send() it immediatly kicks off errors: Failed to load resource: cancelled Then looking at the XMLHttpRequest object is says in status: Error: INVALID_STATE_ERR: DOM Exception 11 I don't know why but this is my code, I hope I can get some advice as to whats going wrong: var xml = new XMLHttpRequest(); xml.open('GET', 'http://year3.gdnm.org/feed/'); xml.send(); Thanks in advance.

  In the WIX setup I've got, when upgrading the application I have set a requirement to close down applications which might hold on to files which needs to be updated: <util:CloseApplication Id="CloseMyApp" Target="[MyAppExe]" CloseMessage="no" Description="!(loc.MyAppStillRunning)" RebootPrompt="no" ElevatedCloseMessage="no" /> The application on the other hand will capture closing down the window with a "user friendly" dialog box where the user can confirm that he or she wants to close down the application. I've experienced problems with the CloseApplication, and one theory is that the dialog box stops the application from closing. So the question is: Could this be a possible problem? If so - how can I have this confirmation dialog box and still behave properly when the installer asks the application to close down? Must I listen to Win32 messages (such as WM_QUIT/WM_CLOSE) or is there a .NET API which I can use to respond properly to these events?

• TFS Changeset history using QueryHistory after branch rename

  I'm using the VersionControlServer.QueryHistory method to retrieve a list of files that have changed during a timespan that ranges from 5/1/2009 to 10/1/2009. My results unexpectedly only included items that had changed after 9/1/2009. I then realized that the path that I was using, $/Project/Reports/Main, didn't exist until 9/1/2009. Before 9/1/2009, there had been another node named $/Project/Main/Reports, which was renamed to $/Project/Reports/Main. When I query from Source Control Explorer I can see the entire history (5/1/2009 - 10/1/2009) that I expect to see. However, I can't get the same results via the API. I've tried to specify the branch that no longer exists because it was renamed, but not surprisingly I get zero results. Any ideas?

  Trying OCR with Tess4J and able to make it work as a standalone application on 64 bit windows. I am using eclipse for the same. Now I am trying to create a war of the same code and deploy it in Tomcat7 and call the api using a servlet. • Using External GPS Device w/ Android via Bluetooth

  Hello, I am writing an Android 2.0 application that is going to be used in a somewhat remote location. There will be no internet connection available and it will be used outside of the U.S. I am considering the option of using an external Nokia or similar GPS device as a receiver/transmitter and connecting to it for use in my application via the bluetooth API. I am looking for opinions on whether or not this is even possible, if anyone has attempted it or if someone has a suggestion for some other external device or approach that would be more fitting.   I have a Python module that I would like to upload to PyPI. So far, it is working for Python 2.x. It shouldn't be too hard to write a version for 3.x now. But, after following guidelines for making modules in these places: Distributing Python Modules The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Packaging it's not clear to me how to support multiple source distributions for different versions of Python, and it's not clear if/how PyPI could support it. I envisage I would have separate code for: 2.x 2.6 (maybe, as a special case to use the new buffer API) 3.x How is it possible to set up a Python module in PyPI so that someone can do: easy_install modulename and it will install the right thing whether the user is using 2.x or 3.x?

  Hello all, I get this error when adding a reference to the Microsoft.Search.Interop.dll library in a new project that I created. Microsoft.Search.Interop.dll is a library that provides some useful API to communicate with Windows Search. I use it in order to add a folder to the system indexer. Did anybody else get this error, and if so, how should I go about solving it? I'm using VS2010 RC on a Windows Server 2008 if that is important. Thanks.

  I would like to verify a signed executable. The requirement is to validate that the executable itself is valid and where it came from (probably from the subject of the cert). The cert type is PKCS. I found a similar posting here, http://stackoverflow.com/questions/301024/validate-authenticode-signature-on-exe-c-without-capicom The Microsoft documentation, among others, appears to point to CertGetCertificateChain, but the examples tend to work with certificates that are in a store. Does anyone know how to validate a signed executable using CertGetCertificateChain and related API's?

• Android: TabHost How To: set new content in existing tabs upon menu button?

  Hello stackoverflow, I recently started Android programming and was working on my first program which displays a historic text document, sectioned by tabs via TabHost. I have limited my program to one activity and merely used setContent in my TabSpec's to switch between different XML views. The document has both unedited and corrected versions of the text for which I have built text views to accommodate. I wanted to implement the standard menu to have buttons to "view corrected" and "view original" and switch the content of the tabs which have changes (without altering the tabs or their indicators). I've read on the TabHost API and there is no way to edit existing tab content with setContent() of TabSpec; and AFAIK TabWidget only affects the actual tabs, not the content that is displayed upon pressing them. I've thought about creating a new class which extended TabHost and super() all of the original methods, while including one more which updated the mTabSpec list. My question would be, how would I update the frameLayout view of a specific tab to display content I specify?

But it looks like blackberry doesn't have an internal api for creating single line Edit field. I have created a Custom Field by extending BasciEditField overriding methods like layout, paint. In paint i am drawing a rectangle with getpreferred width and height. But the cursor is coming at default position (top-left) in Edit Field. I'm getting NoClassDefFoundError at line Serializer serializer = new Persister(); java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org.simpleframework.xml.core.Persister I have simple-xml-2.6.1.jar in project class path and when I got NoClassDefFoundError I also put these 3 jars in classpath stax-1.2.0.jar stax-api-1.0.1.jar xpp3-1.1.3_8.jar but made no use.   Hi there, I'd like to implement my own script engine using the QtScript component and other Qt components. Since this should be an open source (GPL) application I thought I would be free to do this. But now I found a page at Qt's website that made me doubtful about it: What are the restrictions with releasing scriptable applications? Unless the scripter has a Qt license, the following restrictions apply: The application itself may not primarily be a script development tool. The Qt API may not be made directly scriptable. Scripts may not alter the main functionality of the application. If the major part of the application is developed with a compiled programming language and only some non-core parts of the application are made extendable/modifiable through Qt Script, the scripter does not need to purchase a Qt or QSA license. • Couldn't attachto Firefox 3.x browser by using Browser.AttachTo<FireFox>method in WatiN 2.0 RC1

  I am using HTTPWatch automation API to launch a new Firefox instance like that: HttpWatch.Controller ct = new HttpWatch.Controller(); HttpWatch.Plugin plugin = ct.FireFox.New(""); plugin.GotoURL("http://www.google.com"); These codes could start a Firefox browser successfully. Then I want to control the browser in WatiN 2.0: FireFox ff = Browser.AttachTo<FireFox>(Find.ByTitle("Google")); WatiN could not find Firefox window (JSSH plugin has been added in Firefox). But the same test on IE 7 is ok. I even tried to open a Firefox window manually and visit google.com page. WaitN in IE7 could attach to the browser, but Firefox failed. Is there anything wrong with my codes? Or any other advice? Thanks in advance! • Why does calling setScaleX during pinch zoom gesture cause flicker?

  I am trying to create a zoomable container and I am targeting API 14+ In my onScale (i am using the ScaleGestureDetector to detect pinch-zoom) I am doing something like this: public boolean onScale (ScaleGestureDetector detector) { float scaleFactor = detector.getScaleFactor(); setScaleX(getScaleX() * scaleFactor); setScaleY(getScaleY() * scaleFactor); return true; }; It works but the zoom is not smooth. In fact it noticeably flickers. I also tried it with hardware layer thinking that the scaling would happen on the GPU once the texture was uploaded and thus would be super fast. But it made no difference - the zoom is not smooth and flickers weirdly sometimes. What am I doing wrong?

• How to filter the jqGrid data NOT using the built in search/filter box

  I want users to be able to filter grid data without using the intrinsic search box. I have created two input fields for date (from and to) and now need to tell the grid to adopt this as its filter and then to request new data. Forging a server request for grid data (bypassing the grid) and setting the grid's data to be the response data wont work - because as soon as the user tries to re-order the results or change the page etc. the grid will request new data from the server using a blank filter. I cant seem to find grid API to achieve this - does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

  I am getting this error from a PostMethod using commons-httpclient No credentials available for DIGEST 'realm'@localhost and a 401 back from the server. I followed the example from this post java client program to send digest authentication request using HttpClient API (2) However, it still seems to fail. I am trying to connect to a XML-RPC service, we use digest authentication. I tried using the Apache xmlrpc library but it seems to not support digest authentication. Any ideas? Thanks.
