  Hi, I am tracking my body weight in a spread sheet but I want to improve the experience by using R. I was trying to find some information about time series analysis in R but I was not succesful. The data I have here is in the following format: date - weight - body-fat-percentage - water-percentage e.g. 10/08/09 - 84.30 - 18.20 - 55.3 What I want to do plot weight and exponential moving average against time How can I achieve that?

This seems really like an obvious way to do LaTeX authoring but it doesn't look like any software is able to do it. LyX is not what I'm looking for. I want to edit the actual LaTeX and see it rendered in real time. Why isn't this already being done somewhere?

  First let me thank you all for your help. What I need is a function that takes in a EPOCH time stamp, like 1452.235687 and converts it to a readable timestamp like '01-01-1970 00:00:00'. More specifically I only need the time not the date. If at all possible I would prefer a .NET function instead of a SQL stored procedure. However an SQL stored procedure would work fine as well. For example, in 2008, January 1st to January 6th are in week 1 and January 7th to the 13th are in week 2, so if my date was January 10th 2008, my week number would be 2.
