• Suppress excel add-in confirmation message

  I am accessing excel with C++ and add-ins are being loaded. Everything we load the add-in programatically, the user has to click ok when the add-in is unloaded and loaded. Some users have complained that this can be as much as 20 times for a "run." How can I programatically suppress the add-in confirmation messages? NOTE: excelApplication SetDisplayAlerts(FALSE) does not suppress the confirmation messages.

• Check if 'onload' would have fired already?

  Hello, I have a situation where I'd like to set an onload handler for a script element, but it is possible that the script element has already loaded before I do so. If it's already loaded, I'd like to detect that and run my handler immediately. What would be a reliable way of checking a script element's onload state after the fact? BTW I know that IE uses readyState instead of an onload event so I don't need help for that.

  Hi, Hi my designer made a fla file where he has animated layers loads of them. All the images inside those animations are loaded from outside the swf. Now, the issue is at one point in time I want some of the objects to go under another object ( current their on top) . If I do this visually the images inside the swf(loaded) are lost. Any ideas? The problem is that even turning off lazy loading the collections get eager-loaded automatically. I'd like that no collections are loaded unless I specify a fetchmode in my query.

  I'm finding a lot of problems with trying to determine readyState between IE8, FF3, and Chrome. so far this is what I find: Chrome, FF do not fire an event for .onReadyStateChanged Chrome, FF support .onLoad IE8 supports .onReadyStateChanged, but does not support .onLoad IE8 has also returned loaded, and complete. Mostly it states loaded, but every now and then it spits out complete. Can anyone point me to a chart or overview of browsers and the way they handle readyStates?

After the UIWebView has loaded its content, I need it to resize the UIWebView and UIView so that the UIScrollView will scroll. In the UserControlChild, I store a value using the ViewState object by doing a ViewState["count"] = myCount; On Postbacks, the ViewState returns a null. Is this because the UserControlChild is being loaded dynamically? If it helps, the UserControlParent is loaded dynamically in the ASPX page as well.

BUT selectedCategory has a child table 'SubCategory' which does not get loaded even though there is the include there. It is not loaded until I do this: selectedCategory.SubCategory.Load(); Why do I have to call load explicitly in order to load the child table?

• Python module being reloaded for each request with django and mod_wsgi

For django development server everything is working fine but looks like with apache2 and mod_wsgi the module is loaded with every request (taking 15 seconds). Any idea about this behavior? Update: I have enabled daemon mode in mod wsgi, looks like its not reloading the modules now! needs more testing and I will update.

  Hi, I have a CustomGridViewControl that is on a UserControl, the UserControl is loaded outside of the Page_Init when a treeview in the page is clicked that changes the view, than on subsequent postbacks the UserControl is loaded in Page_Init. The custom gridview is bound to a dataview that is dynamically retrieved. Problem is that the OnDataBinding of the CustomGridView is firing before the OnLoad of the CustomGridView, which is causing me to not be able to get embedded resource urls. Any suggestions? Thanks!

• Turn off Jquery UI Accordion animation only during page load

  I'd like to turn off the accordian animation during page load, and then turn it back on after the page is loaded. Basically I've got multiple forms inside the accordion sections and when submitted the page gets reloaded and the relevant section is reloaded. But during the reload the animation is triggered which looks a little ugly. But I like it when the page is not being loaded. How do I achieve this effect?
