  If we start with the following simple SQL statement which works. SELECT sor.FPARTNO, sum(sor.FUNETPRICE) FROM sorels sor GROUP BY sor.FPARTNO FPartNo is the part number and the Funetprice is obviously the net price. The user also wants the description and this causes a problem. If I follow up with this: SELECT sor.FPARTNO, sor.fdesc, sum(sor.FUNETPRICE) FROM sorels sor GROUP BY sor.FPARTNO, sor.fdesc If there are multiple variations of the description for that part number, typically very small variations in the text, then I don't actually aggregate on the part number. Make sense? I'm sure this must be simple. How can I return the first fdesc that corresponds to the part number? Any of the description variations would suffice as they are almost entirely identical. Edit: The description is a text field.

  Hi I been sort of using jquery livequery plugin and jquery live together. However now that I am using 1.4 it seems jquery livequery is not working 100%.   A) task build << { description = "Build task." ant.echo('build') } B) task build { description = "Build task." ant.echo('build') } I notice that with type B, the code within the task seems to be executed when typing gradle -t - ant echoes out 'build' even when just listing all the various available tasks. The description is also actually displayed with type B. However, with type A no code is executed when listing out the available tasks, and the description is not displayed when executing gradle -t. The docs don't seem to go into the difference between these two syntaxes (that I've found), only that you can define a task either way.

  Hi, I'm looking for a way to do the following in mysql. INSERT INTO category (cat_id,sku,description,color) VALUES ('$cat_id','$sku','$description','$color') ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE description=$description" this works fine... but I want something further to happen if there is a duplicate key. I want to copy a row from the 'product' table to the 'categorized_products'... AND INSERT categorized_products (a,b,c) SELECT a,b,c FROM products WHERE products.cat = '$cat_id' is there a way to do the INSERT...SELECT as part of the first query or do I need to evaluate the above with mysql_affected_rows ( 1 is updated and == 1 is inserted) and then run my second query. Obviously the above will work but means another query and more LOC. Thanks!

  I'm trying to display a grid of items, with each item having a photo on the left and a description on the right, something like this: ---------------------------- | photo | item description | ---------------------------- I want to display these items in a 3x3 grid on the page. I have the grid part worked out, what I'm having trouble with is alignment of the photo and description. When the height of the description exceeds the height of the photo, I don't want the text to wrap under the photo. I essentially want to maintain two separate columns. I have tried this: .item{ padding-left: 60px; // size of photo + 5px margin background-position: 5px 0px; } <div class="item" style="background-image: url('/img/photo123.jpg');"> Here is the item description </div> That has worked very well. the markup is clean and I don't have to mess around with absolute/relative, however, now I can't add a border to the image. Which videos have: For Title exact phrase will get 0.5 points For Description exact phrase will get 0.4 points For tags exact phrase will get 0.3 points For title all words will get 0.2 points For description all words will get 0.2 points For title one or more words will get 0.1 points For description one or more words will get 0.1 points And I will show these videos on basis of points. What will be the SQL Query for this? A LINQ query will be more better. If you know a better way to achieve this, please help.

  I have a WCF REST Starter Kit service. The type handled by the service is a subclass of a base class. For POST requests, the base class members are not correctly populated. The class hierarchy looks like this: [DataContract] public class BaseTreeItem { [DataMember] public String Id { get; set; } [DataMember] public String Description { get; set; } } [DataContract] public class Discipline : BaseTreeItem { ... } The service definition looks like: [WebHelp(Comment = "Retrieve a Discipline")] [WebGet(UriTemplate = "discipline?id={id}")] [OperationContract] public Discipline getDiscipline(String id) { ... } [WebHelp(Comment = "Create/Update/Delete a Discipline")] [OperationContract] [WebInvoke(Method = "POST", UriTemplate = "discipline")] public WCF_Result DisciplineMaintenance(Discipline discipline) { ... } Problem: While the GET works fine (returns the base class Id and Description), the POST does not populate Id and Description even though the XML contains the fields.
