  • PHP: Grab an image from a stream (in an img tag) but if it's not there, i don't want the img tag wri

    I currently have code like this in a web based file called 'view_file.php' to grab an image from an internal network. <img src="put_file.php?type=<?=$TN_TYPE;?>&path=<?=$TN_PATH;?>&filename=<?=$TN_FILENAME;?>" /> The 'put_file.php' script allows access to an internal server that we don't want to expose to the internet. This script checks to see if an image is available and if it is, sends an image header and then uses readfile() to stream the image to the 'view_file.php' page. The problem is if there isn't an image available, instead of streaming a temporary 'spacer.gif' i want to not have the img tag written at all. Any Ideas how to do this? I'm thinking maybe move the img tag into the 'put_file.php' script, but how to mix strings and steams?

    I have this function for adding options to a Select list: function addOption(selectbox, value, text, cl ) { var optn = document.createElement("OPTION"); optn.text = text; optn.value = value; if (cl==1){ optn.className = "nav_option_main"; } selectbox.options.add(optn); } I have just discovered the "optgroup" tag, but I don't know how to implement it to the drop list. The function above is called on another selectboxes "OnChange" event, to fill sub-select-box with the desired options. I don't think it should be too difficult to add the "optgroup" tag into this, or is it? Thanks and if you need more input let me know...

  • Tag Suggestion system, approaches and ideas

    Hi guys! -- I am working on a (auto) tag suggestion system (NOT tag autocomplete). Lets say I want to suggest tags for a given question like here on SO (although SO's tagging system is auto-complete). My main idea is to get the intersection between the tags_set and the given question.split()_set. (In python the set_intersection is efficient enough). Also, in order to make it a little bit more accurate I might use words-distance to count as 'the same' very close words i.e movie == movies. For now I am not thinking about using any Collaborative Filtering technique looking for the tags to similar questions and so on, because I believe since the question text is pretty short (comparing with a blog article or a paper) it is not worth the effort. So I was wondering if you have any other (more) efficient approaches to suggest. Any ideas, specially from people who they have done something like that before, are more than welcome.

    On my website I am using the html 'button' tag but the button does not display when page is opened in Opera version 12.15. Works fine in chrome, firefox and IE. If you go to my cdn test site CDN Comparison u see cloudflare, incapsula and page speed images. below the three cdn images there's a button which does not display.     Hi! ASP.Net has a tag called CheckboxList. The output of this tag looks like this: <table class="checkbox"> <tbody> <tr> <td> <input id="/*longdynamicstring1*/" type="checkbox" name="/*longdynamicstring2*/" /> <label for="/*longdynamicstring1*/">Label Text</label> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> I want to position the label and the input but I cannot find out how. Tried the following: .checkbox input{ padding-right: 5px; } and .checkbox input[type='checkbox'] { padding-right: 5px; } but neither of them had any effect. Because it's ASP I cannot set a class for the input elements and I cannot reference the id because it's dynamic.

    Hi, In my web application, I use strust2 url tag to pass parameters like id etc., For example, I use a link to delete an entity and I use param to pass the id of the entity to be deleted. And I follow this throughout my web app for adding, editing, deleting an entity. During run time, sometimes, I don't get the params to be stored in my action's bean properties. When I see the link that is generated, I get something like <a href='/projit1/p/discuss/viewDiscussion.action?d=11&amp;amp;amp;projid=11&amp;amp;disid=4'> What are these amps for ? why do they sit in between the action calls (made by link via url tag actions ) ? By the time I traverse back and forth in my web app, I get 10s and 20s of amp sitting in the request URL. What is the problem here ? Please help.

    It looks like this template tag works like a charm for most people: http://blog.localkinegrinds.com/2007/09/06/digg-style-pagination-in-django/ For some reason I get this error: Caught an exception while rendering: 'is_paginated' I use this template tag in my template like so: {% load digg_paginator %} {% digg_paginator %} Where digg_paginator.py is in my app/templatetags folder and the included template context digg_paginator.html is in my app/templates folder. The queryset that needs pagination is called 'destinations'. If i just specify {% digg_paginator %}, how does it know what variable to paginate?? I feel I am missing something important here or just plain stupid :P Someone please help, or explain to me how this should be done. Thanks

  • Observing 'click' event on <a> tag generated by scriptaculous Builder

    I'm using scriptaculous Builder to generate some DOM elements dynamically, and one of them is a link tag. I wasn't sure how to generate this with the click callback inline along with the rest of the Builder code, so I'm generating the link tag ahead of time and then inserting it with the rest of the Builder phase. The problem is that the callback for the link is never actually executed when I click the link, and the URL bar changes to http://localhost/foo/bar/# instead.   • XSL transformation of SVG adds namespace attribute to new tag

    I have a SVG file that I want to extend by adding onclick handlers to edges and nodes. I also want to add a script tag referring to a JavaScript. The problem is that the script tag gets an empty namespace attribute added to it. I haven't found any information regarding this that I understand. Why does XSLT add an empty namespace?     I found here that Magento is using these tags as custom config variables, but I still cannot understand where are they used and how. Also if I was to build payment method, I have to add in my custom module config.xml a tag for sales and then for quote and so on... So you can insert a sub-level such as , continue to build the request, and remember to insert a closing tag". I'm interrested for this application. Do you know if this package exists ?     I am making a drupal module. My requirement in the module is that when the module is activated then it needs to add a javascript in page.tpl file just after the body tag. Can anyone help me how to do this. I have tried using drupal_add_js but it will not exactly put the script after body tag, rather puts inside the head or below in footer. I also tried using template variable and preprocess method but the problem is the preprocess method replaces the old value of that variable with the new one. Is there a way how i can implement this in.

  • pre tag is being formatted strangely in page

    I am outputting some code in one of my pages, using a <pre> tag. The code is being output correctly, but for some strange reason, the first line of the code is indented (i.e. shifted to the right, by quite a large amount). I am not applying any style to that element, and I checked in FF Firebug and no styling is being applied, so I have no idea why the first line is shifted by so much to the right - any ideas? the code that generates the tag looks like this: <pre> <?php echo $script_code; ?> </pre> The generated code looks like this: <iframe src="http://www.example.com"> </iframe> Any ideas what may be going wrong?

    Hello. I am trying to do some custom things in Django comments form. I have simple tag named "get_flatpage_by_id" that returns flatpage model data as array. This is working I expected: {% get_flatpage_by_id 14 as page %} It's returning flatpage that ID is 14. But this is not working, if I try to pass {{ form.object_pk.data }} (that returns 14). This is how it should look like: {% get_flatpage_by_id form.object_pk.data as page %} Simple tag receives value "form.object_pk.data" (string), not 14. I don't know how to tell Django that "form.object_pk.data" is variable, not a string!

I need to figure out a way to get this running without adding code to the body tag. Is there a way to accomplish this without, say, an onload funtion placed in the body tag?   • using i18n characters in url of image tag does not display the image

    I am using the image tag as the path /data/image/image.txt does exists. and it displays the image also. but when i introduce some i18n characters in the path lets say it says 404 error image not found, but the path /data/image??/image.txt does exists, please help me to find the solution for this? I used the firebug also to see whether the characters are decoded properly or not, in firebug I am able to see the correct characters they are not changed, still it is not able to pick the image. thanks a lot in advance. Note: I am using tag because it was not allowing me to write the img tab in the post, and i have changed the jif ext to txt. please consider this.
