    Hi all, I am trying to create a html based template with xslt transformation.The string result returned by the transformer is perfectly fine.but when i try to send it to display, the browser is not interpreting it. The output looks like<html><body>...</body></html>. when i do view source it is displaying &lt;html&gt;... How can i resolve it?Please help. Thanks in advance

    Hello, I am trying to get the Treemap plugin (http://www.jquery.info/spip.php?article40) working with jQuery v1.3.x. The plugin works with jQuery v1.1 and v1.2 but for some reason it fails with the v1.3 base.     I have some JQuery code that shows or hides a div. $("div#extraControls").show(); // OR .hide() I initially want the div to be not visible so I used: $(document).ready(function() { $("div#extraControls").hide(); }); However, on the browser, the content loads visible for a second before disappearing, which is not what I want. How do I set the hide the element before the page loads whilst keeping the ability to show hide it dynamically with a script?

Are units of 770 is pixels and 210 is mm ? Similarly, when I write $(document).height() and $(window).height() , there is a difference . What is the reason ?

  • youtube video on Mac os?

    I have inserted a video from youtube into a DIV tag, used the actual "embed" code found on youtube site. and used jquery to show/hide the div. when activated, the flash video shows perfectly in the div, when clicked it plays as usual the only problem i have is when someone using a Mac, and clicks on play, the flash video disappears. this happened on many Mac computers regardles of the browser being in use ( none Firefox neither Safari are working ) although i have tested it on all general browsers on windows and it works fine

I mean by using only standard JavaScript without any installed components or tools. I know tools like Firebug trace into external source but it's installed on the platform and likely has special ability outside the context of the browser sandbox.
