• Why do I lose my javascript from the browser cache after a full page postback?

  Hi, I have an external javascript file which I include to my page on the code behind (as seen below). My problem is, when I my page makes a postback (not partial one), I check the loaded scripts by using FireBug, and I cannot see the javascript file in the list after the post back. I asusmed once it is included to page on the first load, browser will be caching it so that I do not need to re-include it. What am I doing wrong?   i have my first aspx page that has data thatthe user fills in. it is in format of textbox's and at the end of it all the user clicks submit and all data goes in the database. In the database each record gets an ID field. Now when the users clicks submit and goes to the next page, i want the ID's (they could be 1 to 1000+) from the DB that he just inserted and have them available on the second page. how can i take all the id's from page 1 to page 2? can i do it in session? or something else. • ASP .NET: SQL Server Money Type and .NET Currency Type

  MS SQL Server's Money Data Type seems to accept a well formatted currency value with no problem (example: $52,334.50) From my research MS SQL Sever just ignores the "$" and "," characters. ASP .NET has a parameter object that has a Type/DbType property and Currency is an available option to set as a value. However, when I set the parameter Type or DbType to currency it will not accept a value like $52,334.50. I receive an error "Input string was not in a correct format." when I try to Update/Insert. If I don't include the "$" or "," characters it seems to work fine. Also, if I don't specify the Type or DbType for the parameter it seems to work fine also. Is this just standard behavior that the parameter object with its Type set to currency will still reject "$" and "," characters in ASP .NET?   When formatting a string, my string may contain a modulo "%" that I do not wish to have converted. I can escape the string and change each "%" to "%%" as a workaround. e.g., 'Day old bread, 50%% sale %s' % 'today!' output: 'Day old bread, 50% sale today' But are there any alternatives to escaping? I was hoping that using a dict would make it so Python would ignore any non-keyword conversions. e.g., 'Day old bread, 50% sale %(when)s' % {'when': 'today'} but Python still sees the first modulo % and gives a: TypeError: not enough arguments for format string

  Hi, I want to transfer HTML from my app to the iPhone mail application. I already have the HTML text - lest say <span style='color:red'Test</span I can place this to UIPasteBoard - but when I paste it to mail I get the html source. When I place the same string in a HTMLView - select it there and copy it it pastes as red text in mail. What do I have to do to place the string in the UIPasteBoard so that it pastes as red text to the mail application? I've been searching for "format types" - and found that UIPasteBoard returns "Aplle Web Archive pasteboard type" when I have the element (copied from UIWebView) in the clipboard. But setting this as type when adding the content to UIPasteBoard pastes nothing in the mail app. Manfred

• libcurl .NET does not want to work on Win64

  I wrote multi-threaded FTP uploader on C#.NET using libcurl.NET. Everything works fine on my machine, but when I give application (exe + libcurl.dll + 2 libcurl C# binding DLLs) to my friend who is running Win64, application crashes. After adding exception catcher to whole Main() function, I was able to get readable error message: "An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format (Exception from HRESULT = 0x8007000b)" After googling for a while, I found an advice to enable unmanaged code in my project settings. I've recompiled my application and LibCurlNet.dll with this flag set but it did not help. What can cause such problem?

  Once I have set the minDate property of a datepicker with the convenient string syntax $(elem).datepicker('option','minDate','+1d +3m'); how can I get the date object of the minDate? To help illustrate, there is a method $(elem).datepicker('getDate'); which returns the date that is entered in the input in the format of a date object. I would like the same thing but for datepicker('getMinDate'). There is an option like this $(elem).datepicker('option','minDate'); but this returns '+1d +3m' which is not helpful. I need the actual date object to compare with another date object. Any ideas?

Where is a good (best) place to learn all the string formatting tricks allowed in NSString's stringWithFormat? I'm familiar with Apple's String Format Specifiers page but from what I can tell it doesn't shed light on whatever is happening with %*s or the %5.2f (not to mention the 3 apparent placeholders followed by 4 arguments) above?!?

• Modifying LaTeX Table of Contents to add a period after chapter/table/figure number

  I need to add a period after the chapter/table/figure number in each line in Table of Contents/LoT/LoF. ie, right now it shows: TABLES 1 first 2 second but I need it to show: TABLES 1. first 2. second I know this can be done with the tocloft package, however, that package is conflicting with the latex style I'm using, with the error: \c@lotdepth is already defined. (The style is an old style for my university's thesis format, but it's slightly out of date, so I need to make some changes to get it right. I also found that I can change thechapter/thetable/thefigure, so those contain periods. However, that then messes up my references and has the period in all of my references.

There are over 50 of them and they all have the same name format Properties.Resources._#, where # is the picture number.   I need to remove hyphens from a string in a large number of access fields. What's the best way to go about doing this? Currently, the entries are follow this general format: 2010-54-1 2010-56-1 etc. I'm trying to run append queries off of this field, but I'm always getting validation errors causing the query to fail. I think the cause of this failure is the hypens in the entries, which is why I need to remove them. I've googled, and I see that there are a number of formatting guides using vbscript, but I'm not sure how I can integrate vb into Access. It's new to me :) Thanks in advance, Jacques

  Recently a new co-op was hired at our company and has been tasked to run a report. The report queries the database and returns a resultset and from there procedes to create the spreadsheets. Depending on the number of days selected a different number of reports are generated but I do not believe that is relavent to the question. Basically it runs the reports and loops through the resultset but at some point continues to loop through until tow 65536 at which it stops. For Example if the resultset contained 74 records then the first 74 rows would appear normally (formatted yellow) while everything after that would also be formatted yellow although it should be left alone. The query is extremely slow to run from which I believe is the use of views but thats neither here nor there. All you have to know is attempting to debug takes an enormous amount of time due to having to wait for the recordset to return. My guess is that its not checking to see if the resultset is empty correctly. Is there a way I could check to see if theres a value is rs.Fields(0) and base it off that maybe? That is the ID column and there should always be a value. I am wondering why rs.EOF isn't catching this though.
