  • Trying to get excel 2003 into already made windows form

    good afternoon everyone :) I got sucha dilemma! (hate being new at stuff!) What my problem is is that I have a project that is in full design mode swing right now. I built it using the Windows form.. Anyways, on one of my forms..that I already started building (very painstakingly).. Minds have changed and now what needs to be on that form is either a full excel 2003 workbook..or at the very least..excel worksheet. The problem is that I have not been using studio 2008 for long..and coding experience shows the same. Can someone please tell me how the heck I can put a worksheet or a workbook on that form without starting my whole project over using office forms? Please..go slow with this newbie cuz i really dont know anything and Jargon is confusing me even more :( thanxxXXX :)

    Hi, I would like to have some rotating sequential images on my home page of my website. I do not know how to do this and have found code on the internet for only displaying random images. The main problem is this. Every time the page loads I get a pop-up "to help protect your security, IE has restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer". Please can someone help prehaps with an example to enable this to work without this pop-up Thanks Richard

  • [java] How to get ALL the information from a socket

    Hello, I'll begin this question with the claim that I have read the java networking guide before asking you. I do not understand how to READ the socket and get all the info summed up into a string. the socket might contains more than 1 line [trying to make a chat]. Please do no refer me to any other site unless it clearly states "this exact line does this.." because I failed to understand what this code part does BufferedReader stdIn = new BufferedReader( new InputStreamReader(System.in)); String userInput; while ((userInput = stdIn.readLine()) != null) { out.println(userInput); System.out.println("echo: " + in.readLine()); } Please, I just want to make a loop that will receive information from a socket, get all the content together into one string [I also want it to know where to add another line].   • How to prevent robots from automatically filling up a form?

    I'm trying to come up with a good enough anti-spamming mechanism to prevent automatically generated input. I've read that techniques like captcha, 1+1=? stuff work well, but they also present an extra step impeding the free quick use of the application. (I'm not looking for anything like that please). I've tried setting some hidden fields in all of my forms, with display: none; However, I'm almost certain a robot (which is essentially a program) can be configured to trace that form field id and simply not fill it. Do you implement/know of a good anti automatic-form-filling-robots method? Is there something that can be done seamlessly with HTML AND/OR server side processing, and be (almost) foolproof? (and please no JS, one could simply disable it, and there goes my anti-spam method). Btw I'm trying not to rely on sessions for this (like, counting how many times a button is clicked to prevent overloads).

    I am working on VC++ project, in that my application process a file from input path and generates 3 output "*.DAT" files in the destination path. I will FTP these DAT file to the destination server. After FTP, I need to delete only two output .DAT files the folder. I am able to delete those files, because there one Asynchronous thread running behind the process. Since the thread is running, while deleting it says, "Cannot delete, the file is used by another person". I need to stop that thread and delete the files. Multiple files can also be taken from the input path to process. Please help me in resolving this issue. Its very high priority issue for me. Please help me ASAP.
