• Error when make "make install" PHP WebDav

• awstats parse of postfix mail log drops all records

  I'm trying to get awstats to parse the postfix mail log, but it drops allmost all entries with messages like: Corrupted record (date 20091204042837 lower than 20091211065829-20000): 2009-12-04 04:28:37 root root localhost 127.0.0.1 SMTP - 1 17480 Few more are dropped with an invalid LogFormat: Corrupted record line 24 (record format does not match LogFormat parameter): 2009-11-16 04: 28:22 root root localhost 127.0.0.1 SMTP - 14755 My conf LogFormat="%time2 %email %email_r %host %host_r %method %url %code %bytesd" I believe matches the log format (and besides is the log format I've seen everywhere for awstats mail parsing). Besides, is the same entry format as all the other entries in the mail log. Whatever is left is dropped too: Dropped record (host localhost and 127.0.0.1 not qualified by SkipHosts): 2009-12-07 04:28:36 root root localhost 127.0.0.1 SMTP - 1 17152 I added SkipHosts="" to the .conf file but to no avail. I feel like awstats really has some personal quarrel with me today.

• Re-deploy Reports on SCOM Management Packs

  I've migrated Reporting Services on a SCOM 2007 R2 install, and noticed that the reports have not being copied. I can create a new report, but the ones I've had because of the management packs are gone. I've tried re-applying the Management Packs however it doesn't re-deploy them and when I try to access for example: Monitoring - Microsoft Windows Print Server - Microsoft Windows Server 2000 and 2003 Print Services - State View - select any item and click Alerts on the right menu. I get the following error: Date: 12/24/2010 12:40:35 PM Application: System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 Application Version: 6.1.7221.0 Severity: Error Message: Cannot initialize report. Microsoft.Reporting.WinForms.ReportServerException: The item '/Microsoft.SystemCenter.DataWarehouse.Report.Library/Microsoft.SystemCenter.DataWarehouse.Report.Alert' cannot be found. (rsItemNotFound) at Microsoft.Reporting.WinForms.ServerReport.GetExecutionInfo() at Microsoft.Reporting.WinForms.ServerReport.GetParameters() at Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Mom.Internal.UI.Reporting.Parameters.ReportParameterBlock.Initialize(ServerReport serverReport) at Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Mom.Internal.UI.Console.ReportForm.SetReportJob(Object sender, ConsoleJobEventArgs args) The report doesn't exist on the reporting services side. how do I re-deploy this reports? • Windows Server 2008 R2 Software Deployment on Active Directory - Schema Issue

  We have two servers, one running Windows Server 2003 SP2 and one running Windows Server 2008 R2. Both servers have their own versions of Group Policy Management (1.0.2 on 2003 and 6.0.0.1 on 2008). We are wanting to migrate everything over to the newer 2008 server, including software deployment. However, when I try to add a new software package using a .msi file, I get the following error: "The schema for the software installation data in the Active Directory does not match the required schema." I have tried two separate software packages and get the same error on the 2008 server. However, when I do the same on the 2003 server, it adds the software package without any problems. The .msi files I am using are up-to-date - one is the most recent version of Google Chrome. Is this problem caused by the different versions of the OS, or the Group Policy Management program? How do we "upgrade" our Active Directory to allow software deployment on the 2008 server? Thanks.

• Windows 7 does not recognise second display output [closed]

  I've got a PC with dual BenQ G2222HDL monitors and an ATI Radeon HD 4650 video card. I've been running both monitors at 1920x1080 for some months now but last week the second monitor switched to a lower resolution and won't let me go back to 1920x1080. If I right click the Desktop and choose Screen Resolution from the menu, I get two items in the Display: drop down list BenQ G2222HDL D-SUB Display device on: VGA In the past 2 was always the same as 1. If I click Detect a third item appears Available display output on: ATI Radeon HD 4650 but if I use the Multiple displays: drop down list to use it says "No display detected" and then lets me choose from either "Connect anyway on S-Video" or "Connect anyway on Component", neither of which help. It seems like Windows 7 recognises the card is dual-head, and knows I have got two monitors, but can't link it all together. I have checked and all my drivers are up-to-date. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get the second monitor working properly again?

  I have trouble to paste a list of strings in the format of 'mm/dd/yy' into iWork-Numbers. For example, I have a list of strings(text in VIM): 04/01/10 04/03/10 04/13/10 I copy those strings and then paste into my iWork-Numbers worksheet. The result will be: 2004-01-10 2004-03-10 04/13/10 It looks like that Numbers (mac workseet application in iWork) tries to convert the first two digits into year, then the next two into month if less than 12 and last two digits to a day, for the first two rows. For the third(04/13/10), since the middle two digits are 13 and cannot be a month, then this row is pasted as it is (actually it is what I need). Is there any way to paste whatever as they are, without any "smart date conversion"? Do I have to change settings in Numberers or Mac OS's System preference?

• After installing Win7 on my laptop I'm having trouble extending the desktop to an external monitor

  I have a HP TX2000 laptop and a HP w2408 screen. Yesterday, I installed Win7 and I'm having trouble having the 24 inches screen work as a secondary screen. It seems like my laptop cannot detect both screens (its own and the 24 inches one). I think I already have all the drivers installed (I ran Win7's tool to detect and automatically update drivers and it said everything was up to date!), so what might be the problem? If I connect the 24 inch screen to my laptop, it will happily show a copy of what is being shown on that big screen too, but I'd like to have it ''extend'' the desktop to the big screen, instead.

I exported a CSV from the db, imported it into Mailchimp and I was about to launch a Mailchimp automation based on a date. I just realized that there are many instances where the same person singed up for multiple death reminders. Mailchimp doesn't allow for duplicate email addresses in one list. Is there another service or application that I can use for this?

  I am using Apache as web server and the return code is always HTTP/1.1 200. I want to set some kind of handler or use a mod to return HTTP/1.1 206 when the extension of the file requested is .mp4 so it can do video seeking, my web server is already returning some headers to do seeking, but it doesn't work. Is this possible? • Losing WLAN connections but maintaining internet connections on WIndows 7 Workgroup

  I have 4 computers all running Windows 7 networked in a Work group through Billion 7404vgp-m wireless router.All drivers and firmware for wireless adapters and router are up to date. Windows Firewall and Defender disabled.Disconnected ipv6. Running Nod 32 anti virus software. All have own static IP address 192.XXX.X.XXX. When I Reset the router all computers have Internet and LAN access for about 1 hour and then they will lose the LAN connection but maintain Internet connection. Resetting wireless adapters or restarting computers does nothing to fix this but resetting router will. What is causing this and how do I fix it. Thanks Di

  Yo, I have a machine - Windows 7, nothing remarkable about the install but i have multiple drives in the machine. I have a c:\users\username folder which seems to be current and is the one that all windows properties point to. However, i also have a f:\documents and settings\username folder (which was hidden) which is also current and up to date. If i edit anything from either, they seem to "replicate" or update each other ie if i rename an icon on my desktop, it renames it in c:\users\username\desktop and f:\documents and settings\username\desktop. Likewise if i edit directly in one of those folders, it does the same to the other. Any one got any ideas what might cause this? Problem i have is that I need to remove the f drive all together! • Automated git push attempt does not work - authentication issue

  I'm trying to automate a very periodic git add/commit/push cycle using a shell script and cron under OS X 10.8.5. The script is as basic as one would expect it to be: cd /my/directory git add . git commit -m "a commit message with the date" git push -u origin master I've tried running it both as root as well as a non-root user. When I do this manually, I get a dialog box from OS X requesting that I authenticate the operation. Running the script (either using cron or just using sh) ends up sending a message (via mail) to whichever user's cron executed the script saying that it was unable to write a file in the .git directory because of a permissions issue (which is most likely manual execution requires authentication). Is there any way to circumvent this issue, or give the script permission to perform this operation without having me intervene each time?

I found formula's (both array as non-array) that handle this for a fixed range, but I want to have the results in another column per week number. • Why does this monitor go to sleep but won't wake up, event though all related power options are turned off?

  We have a machine, Windows 7 (64-bit) with ASUS motherboard, in our building that only sometimes seems to go to sleep, but won't wake up. The machine is still running but shaking the mouse or hitting keys on the keyboard won't wake it up. I have tried for days to isolate the problem, but every time we get to a "let's try this" scenario, it happens again, later. All power options related to display being off are set to never, except the simple, "turn display off after..." setting. That is, the hard drive is set to never turn off, and the computer is set to never sleep nor hibernate. All drivers seem to be up to date, but I am afraid I will hose the machine if I do a BIOS update (plus I figured that will probably have nothing to do with the issue and only make something else break). Wasn't sure if there was something obvious I was missing?

  I'm trying to write a script to automate a PRAM reset and I've seen a lot of old guides that tell me to use the following command to reset the Mac's PRAM via the terminal: nvram boot-args="-p -r" But this command doesn't seem to work anymore, at least not on any of the computers I've tried it on. I'm trying to find a more up-to-date list of available boot-args and I was able to find this question about boot-args strings but there doesn't seem to be anything in there or any of the links about resetting the pram. Any ideas?

• Burned white shadow on 24inch monitor

  So I got this brand new monitor today an noticed the following problem: This happens while I'm moving my browser window for example. It's not font related, it also happens with icons as you can see on the picture. It's only persistend while I'm moving something, the faster I move it, the farther away is the shadow from the origin. I tested it on windows, linux and two different systems with DVI and VGA. Is this a known issue ? • Can I use a display driver from Windows 8 in Windows 7?

  My latest display driver doesn't support WDDM 1.0, and I need it to be at least version 1.1. I've been attempting to get the Windows Phone 7 SDK working on my HP Pavillion dv9000, but the phone emulator requires 1.1 or higher. My drivers are as up-to-date as they can get. I even tried a modded driver found here, but no go. Then, while evaluating Windows 8 Developer Preview on a different partition I noticed that dxdiag.exe showed it was using WDDM 1.2. I tried installing Windows Phone 7 SDK on Windows 8, but I get an "Internal Error" popup and "Connection failed because of invalid command-line arguments" in the error window in Visual Studio. I'm guessing because Windows Phone 7 SDK isn't supported on Windows 8 yet. So my question is this: Can I get Windows 7 to use the display driver Windows 8 is using to get WDDM 1.2 on Windows 7 and how would I go about doing it?

• Stuck with Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2 errors

  A ways back I installed Microsoft Visual Studio beta 2. Today I installed Visual Studio 2010 from Dreamspark (the one with the activation key baked in). This resulted in an install with no place to put an activation key (I don't have one anyways), but I still get the following error when I try to start it: Your Microsoft Visual Studio evaluation period has expired. You will need to upgrade Microsoft Visual Studio to the latest release. This didn't go away with a complete uninstall and reinstall, and I have no idea how to fix it. A quick internet search reveals that this is the error message from Beta 2 after the date at which the RTM version went live. I have a feeling that the message is due to some hanging registry entries (I went through the manual uninstall instructions here). Does anyone know how to find and eliminate all vestiges of Beta 2 or something?

• zip being too nice (osX)

  I use zip to do a regular backup of a local directory onto a remote machine. They don't believe in things like rsync here, so it's the best I can do (?). Here's the script I use echo $(date)>>~/backuplog.txt; if [[ -e /Volumes/backup/ ]]; then cd /Volumes/Non-RAID_Storage/; for file in projects/*; do nice -n 10 zip -vru9 /Volumes/backup/nonRaidStorage.backup.zip "$file" 2>&1 | grep -v "zip info: local extra (21 bytes)">>~/backuplog.txt; done; else echo "backup volume not mounted">>~/backuplog.txt; fi this all works fine, except that zip never uses much CPU, so it seems to be taking longer than it should. It never seems to get above 5%. I tried making it nice -20 but that didn't make any difference. Is it just the network or disc speeds bottlenecking the process or am I doing something wrong?

• Disable DirectDraw, but still have Direct3D?

  I have a Windows XP SP3 machine, with up-to-date patches. It has DirectX 9.0c, version number 4.09.00.0904. Can I disable DirectDraw, but have Direct3D still active? I read the Wikipedia articles about DirectDraw and Direct3D, but do not know if I understand them correctly: That is, it contains many commands for 3D rendering; however, since version 8, Direct3D has superseded the old DirectDraw framework and also taken responsibility for the rendering of 2D graphics. Does that mean DirectDraw is now a part of Direct3D? Because I cannot disable DirectDraw without disabling Direct3D, but it works the other way around.

• Visual Query Builder

  If been using "dbForge Query Builder" lately and I'm gotten used to the ease of building and testing a query, specially for those complex ones with inner joins, aliases and multiple conditionals. The expiry date of the trial is about to come, and while wanting to remain on the legal side for this I'd rather not pay the 50USD it costs (although I must say it's pretty cheap for what it does). So my question would be: Are there any free alternatives to replace this visual query builder? I've failed to find any and fear that my only two options are paying for it, or going to the dark side.
