    I was in the middle of doing a recursive svn add/commit, and a folder which did not have the proper ignore properties was included. I've got about 100 uploaded binary files versioned now, but I haven't committed yet. What is the easiest way to 'undo' this, without deleting all the documents? Thanks!

    I am trying to extract the current user's account picture in Windows 7, but I can't seem to figure out where it is located. I have found that the picture is sometimes written to the User's temp folder, but only after performing certain actions. It isn't always guaranteed to be there. Has anyone had any luck extracting this image? Thanks!

    I have a file in a folder like this: installer-x86_64-XXX.XX-diagnostic.run The XXX.XX is a version number and I need the version number only. How to do it in linux? I have this code: #!/bin/bash current_ver=$(find /mnt/builds/current -name '*.run'|awk -F/ '{print $NF}') So this gives me just the name of the file correctly (minus the location, which I dont want). But how do I only get the XXX.XX version number into a variable such as $version

    When I run my grails application using embedded jetty server(tomcat for grails 1.2), I can make changes to my controllers, services and other java files on-the-fly at runtime without restarting the application. How can I achieve the same functionality on my application deployed on Tomcat(or any server) for that matter. I have observed the exploded war folder under webapps has gsp files but not the groovy files.

    Hi, I have a newbie question,, how do i add a string template to the views folder in a .net mvc project? i have added a reference to StringTemplate.dll and antlr.runtime.dll but seems that is not enough. i.e. when i right-click on views and choose Add New Item i can't find a file with .st extension in the list that i get... how do i achieve that?     So I have to send a java project to someone outside our company who has no experience with java and they need to compile it. Is there an easy way to do it on the windows command line that does not require writing out lists of the files? Personally I think javac should be smart enough to handle javac * when in the folder just under the root of the package hierarchy. Is there anything in this ballpark?

    The term has several definition according to Wikipedia, however what I'm really interested in is creating a program that has all its needed dependencies included within the source folder, so the end user doesn't need to install additional libraries for the app to install. For example, how Mac apps has all its dependencies all within the program itself already... or is there a function that autotools does this? I'm programming in the Linux environment...

  • Codeigniter: user defined helper function does not load.

    Hi everybody. I made a custom helper extending the system string_helper.php. I placed it in my /application/helpers folder, called MY_string_helper.php as required, unit-tested its functions. Now, when I try to call one of its functions from a model, it does not work. The functions in the default string helper work, instead. It looks like my extension is not loaded for some reasons. I have created three gitolite users user1, user2 and user3. Now, my question is that when user1 clone or commit or push or pull changes, then it only should change user1's working directory, and same as user2 and user3. How would you enforce that with Gitolite?

    In my last question i asked how to best send a string from one view controller to another, both which were on a navigation stack: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2898860/pass-string-from-tableviewcontroller-to-viewcontroller-in-navigation-stack However I just realised I can either pass the path to the file in the app's document's folder as the first (the table view) has already accessed the data in the file should I pass viewcontroller the data to the pushed VC?

I've recently lost the folder structure after a merge operation gone-bad and would like to rename the recovered files according to the metadata.     Hello everyone, When we met with such error message from store procedure, Message 1205, Level 13, State 52, the process Pr_FooV2, Line 9 Services (Process ID 111) and another process is deadlock in the lock | communication buffer resources, and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction. I am wondering whether such messages are stored in log files? I searched log folder of my SQL Server 2008 installation root (in my environment, it is C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Log), but can not find such files. thanks in avdance, George
