    I have a MySQL table that has a row called cur_odds which is a percent number with the percent probability that that row will get selected. How do I make a query that will actually select the rows in approximately that frequency when you run through 100 queries for example? I tried the following, but a row that has a probability of 0.35 ends up getting selected around 60-70% of the time. SELECT * FROM table ORDER BY RAND()*cur_odds DESC

  • Type '_Default' already contains a definition

    I am developing a C# VS 2008 / SQL Server 2008 website. I have a Gridview. I included the Default.aspx and aspx.cs files below. But when I build this I get the below error: The Type '_Default' already contains a definition for 'btnOWrite' What do I need to do to fix this? I am not getting any errors now; just that this grid does not show up. Thanks!   • Select JavaHelp topic in TOC when using setCurrentID

    When I use HelpBroker.setCurrentID("[some help id]"), JavaHelp correctly shows the page I want but the associated topic is not automatically selected/highlighted in the table of contents. This makes it difficult for a user to know where in the topic tree the current page is located. Is there any way to programmatically highlight the current topic in the TOC when I use a HelpBroker to navigate to a specific Help page? Note that when the user follows links within the Java help system, the new topic is properly selected in the table of contents.

  • How do I redirect a page in php

    I'm having difficulties in the making the logout code for php to work. When I click on the logout button, it will go back to the home page, but when I click on the back button in the browser. I can still access the previous page, wherein the user must be logged on to access it. So I'm thinking of redirecting to the login page when the user clicks on the back button on the browser. This is my code, in the home page(where in no user is logged in yet.     I have to tables as follows; Employees: Name nvarchar(50), Job Title nvarchar(50) and Salary int. Employers: Name nvarchar(50), Job Title nvarchar(50) I would like to select every item from the 'Employers' table where 'Job Title' does NOT show up in the 'Employees' table.     Hi, This might be an easy one, but I'm not really experienced with sql. I have a table with two user_id columns, user1 and user2. This table contains some compared values between the two users. I want to send in an user id, and return all the id's from the other user when the sent user is either user1 or user2.
