• upgrading from MVC4 to MVC5 pre-Release

  I have made that dreadful error of upgrading from MVC4 to MVC5 pre-release by updating the razor, and mvc webpage in my references I have System.Web.Mvc, System.Web.Webpages, System.Web.Webpages.Razor and System.Web.Razor as version v4.0.30319, when I run my application I get [A]System.Web.WebPages.Razor.Configuration.HostSection cannot be cast to [B]System.Web.WebPages.Razor.Configuration.HostSection. • Clean URLs for images

  I'm unable to get a working .htaccess that should accept clean URLs to load images. I mean, for example, if a user type this: http://mysite.com/image/example It works perfectly, as my PHP process and parse it. However, if the user type: .../image/example.jpg It doesn't work. I mean, if a user writes that, I want to load the module with the example.jpg as a parameter, I don't want to load the image at all! Thanks in advance.

Whenever I clean up my code using "Full Cleanup" it replaces all var declaration with explicit type declarations. But I have set the appropriate settings under "Inspection Severity" "Use var keyword when initializer explictly declares type" and "use var keyword when possible" to "Show as Error" Is there any other setting I need to set or is this a known bug?

Sqlite complains about this syntax and only accepts CHECK Type IN ('Create', 'Remove'). The main database will be Sql Server 2005, but I use sqlite's in memory database for unit tests. Is there any way to get sqlite to recognise the national language (N) prefix? Alternatively, is there an easy way when using FluentNHibernate to adapt an nvarchar constant to match the database's dialect?

  I'm trying to create a data store that will load the data schema and records on fly. • nSticky/static variable references in for loops

  In this example I create three buttons 'one' 'two' 'three'. In JavaScript, variables inside for-loops seem to be 'static' in the C language sense. Is there some way to create separate variables for each click function, i.e. not using the same reference? Thanks! • How do you manipulate form values based off local input?

  I have a form that has a series of check boxes and some line items have a text input next to them that defines quantity of the item. <input type="checkbox" name="measure[][input]" value="<?=$item->id?>"> <input class="item_mult" type="text" name="measure[][input]" /> What is the best way to capture the integer from the input field and have it correspond to the check box so I can use it to calculate the total later on?
