    Are there any tools available that allow you to 'look' at any given application and show you which WinForm controls are being used in that application? I happen to have an app which I like the GUI of, and I want to use a similar structure in my own app. Instead of developing these controls myself, it may be easier to buy them, if only I can spot which are being used...   • Secure way to run other people code (sandbox) on my server?

    I want to make a web service that run other people code locally... Naturally, I want to limit their code access to certain "sandbox" directory, and that they wont be able to connect to other parts of my server (DB, main webserver, etc) Whats the best way to do it? Run VMware/Virtualbox: (+) I guess it's as secure as it gets.. even if someone manage to "hack".. they only hack the guest machine (+) can limit the cpu & memory the process uses (+) easy to setup.. just create the VM (-) harder to "connect" the sandbox directory from the host to the guest (-) wasting extra memory and cpu for managing the VM Run underprivileged user: (+) doesnt waste extra resources (+) sandbox directory is just a plain directory (?) cant limit cpu and memory? (?) dont know if it's secure enough... Any other way? Server running Fedora Core 8, the "other" codes written in Java & C++

    Ok this situation is a bit difficult. But I am trying to embed a Java Jar into a C# form. Not as a new window or new process. The Jar will be a game that uses the LWJGL library. The C# Form will be a "wrapper" for it with tools and more. Anyone have any ideas? Is this even possible?

  • How do you get the width of an element without a defined width?

    How would you find out the width of a element that is wrapped by 20 odd other elements, but the only fixed width I know is the main wrapper's which is 800px. All child elements are generally blocks, floating or not, with different paddings and margins. I don't really need the answer to a specific case, I'm just wondering if there are tools or tricks to quickly calculate such things. Thanks
