    I have several different content type nodes (videos, image galleries, stories...) that I would like to categorize and create a top-level page that aggregates these nodes. So for example, the top-level page would have teaser thumbnails very similar to the front page view but of course filtered for that topic (like for instance automobiles, and motorcycles would have its own page, etc...). What is the best way to accomplish this? Taxonomy? Views?

  • Why does this python code work?

    I have written a simple python module, it has this code: _log = logging.getLogger("mymodule") _started = False def set_log_level(level): _log.setLevel(level) if not _started: _hdlr = logging.FileHandler('mymodule.log') When I call set_log_level() program fails because symbol _started is not found. It is normal because global _started is missing in the method. But my question is: symbol _log has the same visibility as _started, so why does this symbol can be found? BR, // Toby

  • trouble setting node['chef-client']['interval']

    I've searched many places and haven't get found the answer to this, I suspect I'm missing something either fundamental or basic (maybe both) I'm using the chef-client::windows_service recipe and trying to set the interval and can't seem to sort it out. I've tried at the role level with: { "defaults": { "chef_client": { "interval":15 } }, "overrides":{ } } and at the node level with: { "chef_client": { "interval":25 }, "tags":[] } but the interval on the node is still 1800 (default)

    Hello, I have the following: Class 1 (Text, State, Level) Class 2 (Text, State, Level, Ident) Is there a way for me to cast an object of Class 2 into into Class 1, and not having to do the usual cast code (Text = c.Text, State = c.State etc.)? Possibly by identifying the property names of each class and copying the value over?

  • How to build a tree from a list of items and their children recursively in php?

    I have a list of items stored in the DB, simplified schema is like this: id, parent, name I need to generate a tree structure (in a form of a multi-dimensional array) that can be infinite levels deep. Top level items would have parent = 0. Next level down would have parent equal to the the id of the parent item, fairly straight forward. What would be the best way to do this, while consuming as little resources as possible?

  • Firefox can not layout nested tables properly?

    I want to implement a collapsible menu. I plan to use table component to simulate a menu, and nest a sub table into a table cell to simulate a sub menu. Other browsers will calculate the offset base on the level 2 menu, that works as expected. Is it a bug in Firefox? If so how can I work around it? I want my code to have the same behavior in all major browsers.

    I am wondering how to write this query. I know this actual syntax is bogus, but it will help you understand what I am wanting. I need it in this format, because it is part of a much bigger query. SELECT distributor_id, COUNT(*) AS TOTAL, COUNT(*) WHERE level = 'exec', COUNT(*) WHERE level = 'personal' I need this all returned in one query. Currently I take the design and "slice" this up into HTML and CSS then I "plug" this into a CMS.     I'm trying to generate top-level abstract class with JCodeModel library, but I can't find any way to change class modifiers. It's possible for nested classes (JDefinedClass API provides methods that get modifiers as parameters). But for creation of top level classes I found only JCodeModel API methods that get fully qualified name with or without ClassType (class/interface/annotation/enum) as parameters. Does anybody can suggest me how to change modifiers of JDefinedClass to make it abstract?

    I'm using this example code to grayscale an image,but the result is not right: I = imread('coins.png'); level = graythresh(I); BW = im2bw(I,level); imshow(BW) Where to see how graythresh is actually implemented? BTW,is there a reason for using matlab feels so alike with python? Or is it known that graythresh doesn't work well for images with little spatial resolution(like 62*21 ones)?

We recently had to deal with a situation where we had a table that contained six columns which were all FK columns to the same parent table. However because of the service it's possible that the app could be be in a unknown state.
