I can see from the server log files that the script does not arrive on the Project page. I am new to webrat and quite new to ruby and I am now thoroughly confused. I have no idea why the response.body is gone. I have no idea where I am. I speculated that I had to wait for the page request, but all documentation says that webrat nicely waits till all redirects, pageloads, etc are finished. (At least I think I read that). Besides I find no method to wait for the page in the webrat API. Can someone give some tips on how to proceed with debugging this?

  • Fit <TD> height to page

    Consider a table with three rows with heights 10, *, 10. I'd like the middle cell to be high enough to fit to the page vertically. Unfortunately "height:100%" doesn't work at table, tr, or td level, possibly due to standards. Even if it happens to work, I don't want 100%, I want 100% of clientHeight-20px :) I can always write script to calculate remaining clientHeight but I wonder if it can be achieved in HTML/CSS standards. NOTE: I'm using table just for layout, if there are other ways to lay them down in a better way I'm ok with those approaches too.

I have 2 entities, Customer and CustomerList, with a many to many relationship. customer_lists_customers_table = Table('customer_lists_customers', metadata, Column('id', Integer, primary_key=True), Column('customer_list_id', Integer, ForeignKey("customer_lists.id")), Column('customer_id', Integer, ForeignKey("customers.id"))) class Customer(Entity): [...] customer_lists = ManyToMany('CustomerList', table=customer_lists_customers_table) class CustomerList(Entity): [...] customers = ManyToMany('Customer', table=customer_lists_customers_table) I'm tryng to find CustomerList with some customer: customer = [...] CustomerList.query.filter_by(customers.contains(customer)).all() But I get the error: NameError: global name 'customers' is not defined customers seems to be unrelated to the entity fields, there's an special query form to work with relationships (or ManyToMany relationships)?     I do have single database and near about 11 tables. while my web page is opening informations from these 11 tables will be accessed same time. according to my current settings what I did now is for each table database is opening and closing. say I had given username and password to open databse for each table and close after retrieving information from that table. Is this the right way to do it?? I feel because of this the database is opeing and closing 11 times!!!! Am I right?? is this the right way to do that?? THanks Mathew

    I have two tables, one is a table of forum threads. It has a last post date column. Another table has PostID, UserId, and DateViewed. I want to join these tables so I can compare DateViewed and LastPostDate for the current user. However, if they have never viewed the thread, there will not be a row in the 2nd table. This seems easy but I cant wrap my head around it. Advice please. Thanks in advance.

Any way to get around this?     Running into a problem. I have a table defined to hold the values of the daily treasury yield curve. It's a pretty simple table used for historical lookup of values. There are notibly some gaps in the table on year 4, 6, 8, 9, 11-19 and 21-29. The formula is pretty simple in that to calculate year 4 it's 0.5*Year3Value + 0.5*Year5Value. The problem is how can I write a VIEW that can return the missing years? I could probably do it in a stored procedure but the end result needs to be a view.

  • Sqlite: CURRENT_TIMESTAMP is in GMT, not the timezone of the machine

    I have a sqlite (v3) table with this column definition: "timestamp" DATETIME DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP The server that this database lives on is in the CST time zone. When I insert into my table without including the timestamp column, sqlite automatically populates that field with the current timestamp in GMT, not CST. Is there a way to modify my insert statement to force the stored timestamp to be in CST? On the other hand, it is probably better to store it in GMT (in case the database gets moved to a different timezone, for example), so is there a way I can modify my select SQL to convert the stored timestamp to CST when I extract it from the table?     just want to verify that database partition is implemented only at the database level, when we query a partitioned table, we still do our normal query, nothing special with our queries, the optimization is performed automatically when parsing the query, is that correct? e.g. we have a table called 'address' with a column called 'country_code' and 'city'. so if i want to get all the addresses in New York, US, normally i wound do something like this: select * from address where country_code = 'US' and city = 'New York' if now the table is partitioned by 'country_code', and i know that now the query will only be executed on the partition which contains country_code = US. My question is do I need to explicitly specify the partition to query in my sql statement? or i still use the previous statement and the db server will optimize it automatically? Thanks in advance!

  • Internet Explorer visual element stacking issue

    Gday All, I know this issue is well known, however I have searched high and low for a solution to no avail. I have created a menu system using nested ordered lists where the menu functionality is controlled by CSS and Jquery. The menu works perfectly in FF, Chrome, Opera and Epiphany. However in IE 6/7/8 my popup menu is being displayed underneath a table. See the image below. The very top box is a div element containing my menu system. I am working with legacy code that uses tables for display so the next box and the "ts found. Try a different subcate" text is in a "td" element of a table. I have tried to force the table to have a lower z-index but this does not work. Any insights into why this is only present in IE would be appreciated. Cheers, Michael

  • What is the proper way to create a recursive entity in the Entity Framework?

    I'm currently using VS 2010 RC, and I'm trying to create a model that contains a recursive self-referencing entity. Currently when I import the entity from the model I get an error indicating that the parent property cannot be part of the association because it's set to 'Computed' or 'Identity', though I'm not sure why it does it that way. I've been hand-editing the file to get around that error, but then the model simply doesn't work. What is the proper way to get recursive entities to work in the Entity Framework.     I have an app with three tabs that switch views instantaneously when the user taps them. The first view is a table view selecting which 'location type' to filter by, to only show those pins (add those annotations) to the second view, a MapView. When a table cell is clicked, it switches instantaneously to the mapview, using this code: self.tabBarController.selectedIndex=1; However, I would like to do this with a slide-in-from-right animation, like the one you get when drilling down a hierarchy of table views. I tried this: [self.navigationController pushViewController:[self.tabBarController.viewControllers objectAtIndex:1] animated:YES]; which compiles without error or warning, but does not switch views. How do I 'apply' a navigation controller 'onto' a tab bar controller? Or is there some way to select another viewcontroller and specify an animation?

  • Updating a TableView with a WebService and Saving to CoreData

    I am working on a project where I have a table view that is currently updated via a web request that returns XML. I implemented -(int)numberOfRowsInTableView:(NSTableView*)tv and -(id)tableView:(NSTableView *)tv objectValueForTableColumn:(NSTableColumn*)tableColumn row:(int)row in my XML parsing class, and have the table updated with the data that is pulled down from the server. I want to save the data that is pulled down using Core Data, so that the table can be saved/loaded. Then later on application start when the web request is made, it will only add data that is not already present. (The XML is sorted by release date, so later I will check to see which release dates are not loaded up from the Core Data store, and only load newer entries.) How would I go about implementing this? I am a very new Cocoa developer, but have gone through the entire Hillegass book. Thanks so much.

    I'm trying to get the Foreign Keys for a table in my SQL Server 2005 database. I'm using the GetOleDbSchemaTable function right now: DataTable schemaTable = connection.GetOleDbSchemaTable( OleDbSchemaGuid.Foreign_Keys, new object[] { null, null, null, "TABLE" }); This pulls back the right foreign keys, the only problem is that the UpdateRule and DeleteRule are set to "No Action". If I browse to the same table in SSMS I can see that my DeleteRule is "Set NULL". Does the GetOleDbSchemaTable function not return the proper foreign key rules ? Has any one else ran into this problem ?

Here is my approach and wanted to see if anyone can provide feedback, code review before i implement my suggestion. 1) aspnet_roles - business unit role 2) create permission table and Role_Permission table and User_Permission table (many to many) 3) create custom CodeAccessSecurityAttribute + that looks at new tables [CustomPermissionCheck(Security.Demand, HasPermission="can*")] first iteration i'll statically new the dependent repository.. ideally i would like an aop style attribute that has repository injected IPermissionRepository.HasPermission(...); If i approach new aop way i probably will stop inheriting from CodeAccessSecurityAttribute -- what do the security guys have to say about this? has anyone else solved this, is there something in the framework that i've missed?

    Couple database profile entry, which would be the best way to save data. Also the data will be retrieved via php coding and if it could be down with one query code that would be ideal. Within the site_member table create multiple field for each field... ex: m_firstname1, m_firstname2, m_age1, m_age2, etc... Store the couple member data in one field each... and separate with a comma in the data field ex: m_firstname (Mike, Sherry) Create a separate table site_member_c duplicating the same fields that are in site_member table. This is roughly about 10 fields

The conflict occurred in database "schoolHigher", table "dbo.country", column 'countryId'. please tell how can i move those data whose foreign key is valid.
