  hello everyone. i am using slideshow2 by Aeron Glemann in a website.Does in generate the thumbnails or do i have to provide them?the images iam showing are coming from a cloud, and are passed to the slideshow in an array.the thumbs exist in the cloud. how can i pass them in the array if the show cannot create them? i have used the replace parameter with regex but it shows as thumbnails the full image and nothing happens when i alter the css properties for the thumbnails. the images are displayed. here is the line for the show creation: var myShow = new Slideshow('show', eval(res.value), { controller: true, height: 350,overlap: false, resize: false, hu: '',replace:[/^\S+.(gif|jpg|jpeg|png)$/,'t$1'],thumbnails: true, width: 600}); the value object contains the images from the cloud in format shown below: ['xx.jpg','yy.png',....] thank you very much for your time.

  I currently have implemented an overlayitem that shows an icon for geopoint on a map application in Android. When the icon is clicked, it brings up an AlertDialog from the onTap method below. I have the following questions: Does anyone know how to display a map message bubble directly above the icon overlayitem with 2 callout buttons one to the left of the title and one to the right of the bubble? Does anyone know how to make the overlayitem draggable so I can press and hold it and drag it across the map. I am trying to duplicate the draggable icon behavior that's available on the iPhone. If so, please share some sample code. For more information, contact your system administrator." When I RDP into the server and try Microsoft CRM Workflow Manager/Monitor with http or https connectivity, it doesn't work. "The specified Microsoft CRM server is not responding. This might happen if it is currently unavaliable, it is not a Microsoft CRM server, or you are not a valid user. Contact your sys-admin." This is a Microsoft CRM v3.0 / Microsoft SQL server 2005 box, Active directory is on a seperate box.. When I right click Microsoft CRM Worlkflow Service, properties, log on: it shows "crmtestuser" and a password. I did not RDP or try logging in as that crmtestuser, but I am Admin... Could this be a clue? What can I try?

  I have a Drupal setup like this: Content type: Apartments Vocabulary: Areas, that can be used with Apartments. Content type: User profile, with a Content Taxonomy Field for Areas so users can select what areas they are interested in. I would like a view that shows all the user profiles that matches the apartments in their area. A "User profile <- Areas <- Apartments" join in other words. I've been mucking around with the views interface for a while but it's not clear to me how the relations can be setup to achieve this. Can someone give me a hint? In case this cannot be easily solved with views, what is a good way of doing it otherwise? Thanks for your help.

  I'm following the Railscast #223 that introduced Morris.JS. I generate a data set called @orders_yearly in my controller and in my view I have the following to try and render the graph: <%= content_tag :div, "", id: "orders_chart", data: {orders: @orders_yearly} %> Calling @orders_yearly.inspect shows it's just a simple hash: {2009=>1000, 2010=>2000, 2011=>4000, 2012=>100000} I'll need to modify the values for xkey and ykeys in coffeescript to work, but I'm not sure how to make it work with my data set: jQuery -> Morris.Line element: 'orders_chart' data: $('#orders_chart').data('orders') xkey: 'purchased_at' # <------------------ replace with what? ykeys: ['price'] # <---------------------- replace with what? labels: ['Price'] Anyone have any ideas? • Databind List Of Objects To A WinForms DataGridView, But Not Show Certain Public Properties

  I'm not even sure if i'm doing this correctly. But basically I have a list of objects that are built out of a class. From there, I am binding the list to a datagrid view that is on a Windows Form (C#) From there, it shows all the public properties of the object, in the datagrid view. However there is some properties that i still need accessible from other parts of my application, but aren't really required to be visible in the DataGridView. So is there an attribute or something similar that I can write above the property to exclude it from being shown. P.S. Im binding at runtime. So i cannot edit the columns via the designer. P.P.S. Please no answers of just making public variables (Although if that is the only way, let me know :)).

  Hello all I am using google maps in my application. I have to show 100 markers on map. First I prepared a markers array from these markers. When markers are added using addOverlay from markers array, it takes some time and they are being added in some animated way (in sequence). I want all of them to get added to map in a single shot, so no flickering effect. I tried MarkerClusterer but it shows a cluster of markers where the need be. Instead I want all the markers to appear, not a cluster. Only they should be added faster. var point = new GLatLng(latArr[i],lonArr[i]); var marker = new GMarker(point,markerOptions); markers[i] = marker; var markerCluster = new MarkerClusterer(map, markers); Any suggestions please? • Cookie won't unset

  OK, I'm stumped, and have been staring at this for hours. I'm setting a cookie at /access/login.php with the following code: setcookie('username', $username, time() + 604800, '/'); When I try to logout, which is located at /access/logout.php (and rewritten to /access/logout), the cookie won't seem to unset. I've tried the following: setcookie('username', false, time()-3600, '/'); setcookie('username', '', time()-3600, '/'); setcookie('username', '', 1, '/'); I've also tried to directly hit /access/logout.php, but it's not working. Nothing shows up in the php logs. Any suggestions? I'm not sure if I'm missing something, or what's going on, but it's been hours of staring at this code and trying to debug.

• emacs23 pops up debugger way too frequently

  Since I've upgraded to Ubuntu lucid and emacs23, Emacs pops up the debugger in situations, where emacs22 does not. For example, when hitting C-c C-c in org-mode, emacs22 simply states can do nothing useful at this location, whereas in emacs23 the debugger shows up. Debugger entered--Lisp error: (error "C-c C-c can do nothing useful at this location") signal(error ("C-c C-c can do nothing useful at this location")) error("C-c C-c can do nothing useful at this location") org-ctrl-c-ctrl-c(nil) call-interactively(org-ctrl-c-ctrl-c nil nil) That only illustrates the pattern -- the behavior is not limited to org-mode. Occurring every 3 minutes, it really annoys me. How can I prevent it? I've already tried to stop this using debug-on-error and stack-trace-on-error: it didn't work.

  I have a ff extension which creates a popup and shows dynamic data in it. basically when the popup opens a js function is run which then constructs the popup list by appending the items like this var myMenuPopup = document.getElementById("file-popup4"); newItem = document.createElement("menuitem"); newItem.setAttribute("label", namelist[m]); newItem.setAttribute("id", "item" + m); Now I need to have the click functionality too on these newly added menuitems. putting the atttribute and forming the function is easy. I can have a function to be run when they are clicked. But i need to pass namelist[i] to the function and it will act according to the namelist parameter.If i do: newItem.setAttribute("oncommand" , finalclick(namelist[m])); it runs the function everytime the popup opens runs the function without even clicking on it on the other hand if i use quotes i.i if i do newItem.setAttribute("oncommand" , "finalclick(namelist[m])"); it doesnot open even on clicking giving error : namelist is not defined.

  Hi there, I want to send an email with an attachment using the following code (Python 3.1) (greatly simplified to show the example) from email.mime.multipart import MIMEMultipart from email.mime.text import MIMEText msg = MIMEMultipart() msg['From'] = from_addr msg['To'] = to_addr msg['Subject'] = subject msg.attach(MIMEText(body)) fp = open(att_file) msg1 = MIMEText(fp.read()) attachment = msg1.add_header('Content-Disposition', 'attachment', filename=att_file) msg.attach(attachment) # set string to be sent as 3rd parameter to smptlib.SMTP.sendmail() send_string = msg.as_string() The attachment object msg1 returns 'email.mime.text.MIMEText' object at ', but when the msg1.add_header(...) line runs the result is None, hence the program falls-over in msg.as_string() because no part of the attachment can have a None value. (Traceback shows "'NoneType' object has no attribute 'get_content_maintype'" in line 118 of _dispatch in generator.py, many levels down from msg.as_string()) Has anyone any idea what the cause of the problem might be?   The question on validating jpegs on network transfer is very helpful. Could we take this question one step further? What if the image data is incomplete or corrupt from the server? The complete transport works, the MIME type is image/jpeg, the UIImage is constructed and non-nil but the renderer discovers inconsistencies in the data and the log shows "Bad Huffman code" or "premature end of data segment" How would I capture this error before tossing the UIImage into the view context and thereby getting a not-pretty image on the screen? Could I render it to a non-screen context and capture the error?

• How do you debug a windows service that is being installed?

  I know how to attach a debugger to a windows service, but I can't seem to get attached to one that's being installed and started by a windows installer. I've tried: Setting a Thread.Sleep(TimeSpan.FromSeconds(30)); at the beginning of the on-start, but when I try to attach in Visual Studio, the name of the service does not appear as an option. This normally works, the service's name shows up in the list, but when using the installer it does not. Setting a Debugger.Break and Debugger.Launch. Neither really do anything. What can I do to debug my service?

  I have an Alfresco document reference; what I'm looking for is a way to access workflow attached to that document and finish it (or progress it to the next transition) through Javascript. Almost every example on the web shows how to start workflow, and from the dashlet I could call task command processor (/alfresco/command/task/end/[/transition]) if I knew the task ID, but how do I do the same thing from server-side web script starting only from the document reference? There must be a way to access workflows from document and manage them programatically.

• Select only items in a specific DIV using HtmlAgilityPack

  I'm trying to use the HtmlAgilityPack to pull all of the links from a page that are contained within a div declared as <div class='content'> However, when I use the code below I simply get ALL links on the entire page. This doesn't really make sense to me since I am calling SelectNodes from the sub-node I selected earlier (which when viewed in the debugger only shows the HTML from that specific div). So, it's like it's going back to the very root node every time I call SelectNodes.   I'm trying to draw a wireframe mesh and a textured mesh in threeJS but when I have both added to my scene the textured mesh doesn't display. Code below: I'm having trouble creating two meshes that share the same geometry where one of the materials is wireframe and the other is a texture. If one of the materials is wireframe and the other is just a color fill it works fine- but as soon as I make the second material a texture it stops working. • Why would Silverlight be crashing in Release but not in Debug mode?

  I have a Silverlight App that has worked well in Debug and Release modes for weeks. It still works well in Debug mode. However, now when I run it in Release mode, it starts, shows me the screen, loads the data, then hangs, and the browser (Firefox) closes automatically. I've tried other browsers and each of them crashes, Chrome says "The Silverlight Plug-In has crashed" for instance. • UIWebView finishes too fast

  I'm loading a biggish (and javascript-heavy) page into a UIWebView, and I want to add a UIActivityView to spin while it thinks. Problem is, my - (void)webViewDidFinishLoad:(UIWebView *)webView method gets called quite a while before the rendering actually happens. Enough so that my spinner (which set to hide when stopped) never actually shows up. By the time the UI is even assembled, the spinner has already been stopped and hidden, even though there's enough time to wonder if it's broken before the UIWebView actually gets the goods to the screen. I wish there was a "webViewDidFinishRendering", but that would imply that WebKit is something other than lickedy-split fast... ;-) Thoughts? Perhaps I should toss the thing up and set a timer to come stop it, and unhook that from anything that's actually happening in the WebView?

  Microsoft MSDN site has next remark: "Any groups assigned to a ListView control appear whenever the ListView.View property is set to a value other than View.List." My problem is that i like to have View set to SmallIcon. In this mode ListView control is shifted left, and CheckBoxes are covered by left edge How to solve this issue, or at least how is possible to shift rendering of control to the right. My OS is Windows XP Service Pack 3. It looks like that ListView items with Groups and CheckBoxes shows correctly only when View set to Details.

• DDMS Not Showing Threads From Device

  I'd like to check for memory leaks in my Android app using the DDMS feature in Eclipse. When I launch an emulated device, the threads display properly for the emulated device, starting with 8600 and up. However, when I connect my Droid to the PC, the device shows up just fine in DDMS. The logcat is generated correctly, and I can view the file structure. However, threads do not display. I get "no client selected" in the Threads pane, and there is no drop-down icon next to the device listing. Do I need to change some particular setting in Eclipse? Is this maybe a driver issue?
