    Hi, How can I do long-polling using netty framework? Say for example I fetch http://localhost/waitforx but waitforx is asynchronous because it has to wait for an event? Say for example it fetches something from a blocking queue(can only fetch when data in queue). When getting item from queue I would like to sent data back to client. Hopefully somebody can give me some tips how to do this. Many thanks

  • Google Maps v3 - Adding makers results in duplicate markers

    Hi guys, I'm having some problems with Google Maps v3. I have an event listener on "bounds_change" that adds all accommodations(markers) within the active bounds. When i move the map slightly, the same markers are added again because they are located in the bounds. So every time I move the map, duplicate markers are added. How can I make sure these markers stay unique? Thanks!! Richard

    In ASP.NET MVC, how to get the page content before render, we know in Web form app, we can override the method protected override void Render(HtmlTextWriter writer) to get the page content before render. but in MVC there are no event concept, so how we can get the page content. the purpose for that is to emphasize(wrap <strong> tag) the keywords before the page rendered.     Problem: I have a device that send to me some commands (e.g: 1,2,3,...), i want simulate mouse and keyboard events according to received commands in Both Linux OS and Windows OS. I worked with bool QCoreApplication::postEvent(QObject *receiver, QEvent *event, int priority = Qt::NormalEventPriority) but i don't know what receiver pass to it and i has problem with MouseMove action with it. I found this help that works good in linux OS, but i have problem with this help approach in Windows OS. Is there any approach that works in both OS? Thanks for your attention.

  • WPF Animation Duration

    I have a storyboard like the following Duration="0:0:1" Completed="DeviceExplorer_Completed" The animation for some reason does not appear to be working linearly. If I change the duration to something like Duration="0:0:0.8" and assign the stroyboard to a MouseEnter event of a button, the animation moves but does not complete for some reason, I move my mouse over the button a few times before it enetually completes... Any ideas why?

    What up fam. So this isn't a question asking about memory management schemes; for those of you who may not know, the Flash Virtual Machine relies on garbage collection by using reference counting and mark and sweep (for good coverage of these topics, check out Grant Skinner's article and presentation). And yes, Flash also provides the "delete" operator, which can (unfortunately only) be used to remove the properties of dynamic objects. What I want to know is how to make it so that Flash programs don't continue to consume CPU and memory while running in the background (save loading content or communicating remotely, for example). The motivation for this question comes in part from Apple's ban on cross compiled applications (in its SDK 4) on the grounds that they do not behave as predicted with the multitasking feature central to iPhone OS 4. My intention is not only to make Flash programs that will 'pass muster' as far as multitasking in iPhone OS 4, but also to simply make better (behaving) Flash programs. Put another way, how might a Flash application mimic the multitasking feature of iPhone OS 4? Does the Flash API provide the means for a developer to put their applications to 'sleep' while other programs run, and then to 'awaken' them just as quickly?     Im trying to "get" when a finger/touch leaves a UIButton in objective C for iphone. I was told in another answer to use UIControlEventTouchDragExit however this event only fires when the touch gets about 100 pixels away from the button, whereas I would like it to be immediate. The apple docs say that goes according to the bounds however my understand is the bounds and the frame are the same unless you rotate the UIbutton (or whatever)

For example, if content is copied and pasted from Microsoft Word, there is a selectable option to remove all formatting of the pasted content or the content is stripped on the paste event. Ember.js itself works fine, but I haven't found any good way to "bind" PhoneGap events to views. For instance, I would like to handle backbutton event and remove a view on it. It would be nice to define behavior in view class and call document.addEventListener when instance of the view is appended and call document.removeEventListener when view instance removed.
