• Chrome OS is missing or damaged

  My Google Chrome CR-48 started flaking out/rebooting and finally this message.  This post solved the problem quite easily. http://cr-48.wikispaces.com/Reseat+SSD+Cable Two hints: 1) you need to pull off the rubber feet to get at some screws. 2) the real problem is the little white clip under the cable.  Don’t worry about reseating anything, Just push the cable back on and the little white clip back up to snap in place and hold the cable.

  My understanding of a primitive datatype is that It is a datatype provided by a language implicitly (Others are user defined classes) So different languages have different sets of datatypes which are considered primitive for that particular language. Is that right? And what is the difference between a "basic datatype" and "built-in datatype". Wikipedia says a primitive datatype is either of the two. PS - Why is "string" type considered as a primitive type in SNOBOL4 and not in Java ?

• How I install drRacket?

  i install drRacket in ubuntu. downloaded the source file from http://pre.racket-lang.org/installers/ and typed sudo ./racket-5.2.1-bin-i386-linux-ubuntu-karmic.sh after making it exe file so the file is in the usr/racket/bin/drracket and i want to run it from command line without going to its directory i cant make the drracket to run the .rkt files by the "open with" how can i make this two things ???

  I have two machines: a 12.10 which autodiscovers my NAS fine and a 13.04 which does not autodiscover the NAS in Nautilus. The latter does not display the drive in Nautilus. I did install samba on the 13.04, I think a while ago, but I cannot remember what I did. Before I connected to the drive using afp, now I notice the 12.10 uses smb. How can I make my 13.04 autodiscover the NAS and how should I configure it?

  I am using a HP NK527AA Wireless mouse with two side buttons. His mouse wheel is half broken: I can scroll but I can't click it. In windows I configured the side buttons as 3rd mouse button but unfortunately the only available drivers are for windows. Ubuntu treats the side-buttons as back\forward buttons and it's really annoying. Is there a way to configure the buttons if though the is no driver?

  Can't get ubuntu 12.04 to set pixel resolution higher than 1360x768. Very new to linux liking it other than this lol. I have a dell xps 420 with a nvidia geforce 260 hooked up to my 55 inch tv through a dvi/hdmi adapter.The display program wont set the resolution above 1360x768.I have tried the two "additional driver" options for the graphics card and the Details Window doesn't recognise with either driver.

  I have an HTML file with 2 links http://versionplus.in/pass/new.html, both links are in an iframe to load the contents inside the iframe. I have two protected directories one on the same server and other on another server. If you click on either link it will popup the login box, same for both links in all browsers except google chorme. google chrome doesn't show login box for the protected folder on another server, how can I fix this ?

  Before joining Oracle as Product Manager for WebLogic and GlassFish for Latin America, at the beggining of this year I proposed two talks to JavaOne USA that I had been presenting in Brazil for quite a while. One of them I presented last year at ApacheCon in Vancouver, Canada as well in JavaOne Brazil. In June I got the news that they were accepted as Alternate Sessions. Tomorrow I'll be flying to San Francisco, to my first JavaOne in the United States, and I wanted to share with you what I'm going to present there. My two sessions are these ones: Wed, 10/03, 4:30pm - CON2989 Leverage Enterprise Integration Patterns with Apache Camel and TwitterOn this one, you will be introducted to the Apache Camel framework that I had been talking about in Brazil at conferences, before joining Oracle, and to a component I contributed to integrate with Twitter.
