    We have a requirement where we need to convert from .wav file to .mp3 and we are currently using "Tritonus" library to do that . The concern with that library is that requires "installation" of some "dll" files to the class path. I am wondering are there any API's those allow better processing without local installation. And other question is ,having mp3 format files will make it easier to join the files into a single file than having .wav files ?

    In our developer environment, no users have administration rights. As such, it's not possible to install MSBuild.CommunityTasks without getting admin to do so. What I'm wondering is similar to NAnt, i.e. is it possible to include the files in your solution directory, and just reference it from there? This way, will not matter if the person has it installed, when they checkout latest code, the msbuild community files will come with, and solution will build. \SolutionDir\{solution}.sln \SolutionDir\Project\{files} \SolutionDir\MSBuild.Community\files

I want to be able to figure out which of the files in that directory adhere to my NSCoding class, and I'd prefer not to have to fall back on the naïve approach of loading the entirety of each file into memory, attempting to unarchive each. Excel makes the cell formats of the column number general by default. This results in the leading 0 getting dropped in zip codes. Is there any way I can specify the cell formats within the CSV file?

This parameter indicate to my jar wich property file to use in order to setup some configuration. Then the script will zip the results produced by the jar and send them to a location.     Hi, java.util.zip has well-known problems with native memory usage, so i'm trying to use a drop-in replacement called "jazzlib". unfortunately as is typical for sourceforge projects there is no documentation. If I add the jar to my classpath then Java freaks out and gives me "prohibited package name" errors because it replaced java.util.zip. How do I tell Java that this is what I want it to do?

Here's what I'm doing with the skins, I have a folder which contains some images and a xml file which maps the images to the keyboard, I want to be able to have the folder as a zip file like in Office 2007 (.docx) and iPhone firmwares (.ipsw), I know I can simply zip the folder and change the extension, what I need to know is how to read the files in the code.
