  • Auto discover projects in continous integration Tools

    We have a code base composed of many projects. Currently each time we add a project on SVN we must reconfigure CruiseControl to start build and test on such project. I'm looking for a tool (better if open source) able to scan the SVN repository and find new projects by itself. A project can be "a SVN folder containing trunk, tags, branches subfolders". Even better if the tool supports multistaged continous integration and build on demand. Thanks

    I'm using a jQuery slider as a price range selector in a form. I'd like to have the form submit automatically when one of the values has been changed.     In C# (.Net) you can create a panel and set autoscroll to true. you can then add controls into it, including beyond it's size, then it will scroll. I was wondering if when using the real WinAPI in c++ (not .net) how one could acheive the same result. Must I keep track of the controls inside and move them all when I scroll or is there an easier way like in C#. Thanks

  • auto-document exceptions on methods in C#/.NET

    I would like some tool, preferably one that plugs into VS 2008/2010, that will go through my methods and add XML comments about the possible exceptions they can throw. I don't want the <summary> or other XML tags to be generated for me because I'll fill those out myself, but it would be nice if even on private/protected methods I could see which exceptions could be thrown. Otherwise I find myself going through the methods and hovering on all the method calls within them to see the list of exceptions, then updating that method's <exception list to include those. Maybe a VS macro could do this? The tool would also need to eliminate duplicates, like if two calls within a method are documented as throwing DirectoryNotFoundException, the method would only list <exception cref="System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException"/> once.

    I need some help finding the error in my javascript calculation. I need to calculate the sum of my input boxes automatically and have my user be able to edit the calculation using + or - buttons. The code I have already does the calculation automatically if you manually enter the numbers, but pressing the + or - does not change the calculation. Is there anyway to automatically add XML comments to all of the public members in a class or a file. I see ghost doc which gives you good autogenerated XML comments but it still looks like it only does one member at a time.

    I'm trying to have a model/table with duplicate information in it. The reason for this is so that the same data can be written to the table under different users and found for each user. However, I want a quick easy way to identify which information is a duplicate of other information. I think the best way to do this would be to have an item_id of sorts that increments with each "set" of entries to the table. Is there a way to do this without including another table that stores the information without attributing it to users?

    Hello all, Is there an equivalent of MySQLs on update field for SQL server? With both DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP and ON UPDATE CURRENT_TIMESTAMP clauses, the column has the current timestamp for its default value, and is automatically updated. What I am looking for is to have a date/time field and every time I update a record it updates the field with the date/time it was updated automatically?   • auto resize text (font size) when resizing window?

    Hi, I have been trying(in vain) to build a page whose elements would resize as I changed the window size. I have it working in css for images no problem, but I can't seem to accomplish the same for text, and I am not sure it is even possible in CSS. And I can't seem to find a jquery script that accomplishes this. When a user resizes the window, I essentially want the page to scale dynamically and fluidly, without the user having to invoke page zoom. This works fine on my img divs via css, but not for the text, which stays the same size. any ideas? Thanks!

But now in all those files I have to add the import statement (for the method name to resolve).
