  • Guide for http://www.ch-werner.de/javasqlite java wrapper library for SQlite?

    I'm working on a large computer science school project using java and SQlite. After finding out that the zentus.org wrapper errors on databases with ON DELETE and ON UPDATE clauses set, I have changed to the other wrapper found at http://www.ch-werner.de/javasqlite. However, I find the documentation lacking somewhat when trying to get an overview on how it works and how to use it, and the function descriptions are very very short, and you have to scan through every function and somewhat guess how they work and what they do. I wasn't able to find any guides on google on how to use it. My question: Does anyone know a link for a guide or tutorial for the ch-werner.de/javasqlite wrapper, or else can give me a basic code example, or give a quick overview of querying the database and the most used functions, and how to use them?

  • Compiling a bunch of stuff in the folder (java, on a mac)

    two questions: how do i compile a .java file that isn't on my username (like something in documents or some other sub folder) if i have multiple .java files and i compile one that contains method that are contained in the others does the compiler compile those other files. heres an example of the second question. example1.java: class example1 { main () { example2.method () } } example2.java: class example2 { method () } When i compile example1.java will example2.java also be compiled?

  • Cannot connect to local database.

    Hi, I have apache and mysql set up on my local machine (Mac). Whenever I go to any of my local sites I get the "Error establishing a database connection" whenever anything mySql related happens. It was working perfectly yesterday, but when I started my computer today it is not. I can login to mysql on the terminal and that all works fine, I can view database and run queries in the terminal. Look at all my table etc. I've tried restarting apache. Anyone know what's up? This is worrying.

  • MovieClip.onResize event? how?

    I have a an swf, called 'controls' that I created with flash cs4. I upload the controls.swf to my web server. I create an application in flex and it loads the external swf controls into itself. So far I can manipulate the controls.swf via my flex app. I created a class in my external swf, but I need to add some onResize event/check to my scroll bar. For example, if my scrollbar size increases/decreases, I want it to change variable values. Is there some movieClip.onResize event?

    Hi there, I'm having trouble with a date comparison in a named scope. I'm trying to determine if an event is current based on its start and end date. Here's the named scope I'm using which kind of works, though not for events that have the same start and end date. named_scope :date_current, :conditions => ["Date(start_date) <= ? AND Date(end_date) >= ?", Time.now, Time.now] This returns the following record, though it should return two records, not one... >> Event.date_current => [#<Event id: 2161, start_date: "2010-02-15 00:00:00", end_date: "2010-02-21 00:00:00", ...] What it's not returning is this as well >> Event.find(:last) => #<Event id: 2671, start_date: "2010-02-16 00:00:00", end_date: "2010-02-16 00:00:00", ...> The server time seems to be in UTC and I presume that the entries are being stored in the DB in UTC. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong or what to try? Thanks!

    Hi, i am currently in dire need of news articles to test a LSI implementation (it's in a foreign language, so there isnt the usual packs of files ready to use). So i need a crawler that given a starting url, let's say http://news.bbc.co.uk/ follows all the contained links and saves their content into .txt files, if we could specify the format to be UTF8 i would be in heaven.     I've searched Google, but only found information on how to setup a feedburner for wordpress or other blogging services. I've also searched stackoverflow, but not found the right information. I'm creating a website, for which I want to have an RSS. Feedburner seems to be a good, free option - so I'd like to use that. When I go to feedburner, using my google account, it says the website I want to claim is invalid. And it's not clear how to make it valid. I also have no experience with RSS (and really websites in general), so I'm not sure where to go from here. What are the steps I need to take, starting from scratch, to add an RSS feed (with feedburner) to a website?
