• When page loads display 1st image text - hide all other text

  Hi I have created http://techavid.com/design/test3.html and when you load the page you see there are 3 images. The sun image is focused(in color), while the others are greyed out until clicked. That is how it should be for the images. Also when you load the page you see under each image it's own text(i.e. 1st: Sun, 2nd: Airplane, 3rd: Nano), but on page load I only want 1st:Sun to display and hide all other text until their respective image is clicked. Any idea how to do this? thanks :) J

• TortoiseMerge: is there a way to hide deleted lines in the merge window

  Hello, I am attempting to merge a large quantity of files. Several of these files are in conflict and TortoiseMerge is the tool of choice. When I view the code in the "merged" windows it shows me all the code that was deleted and added as well as ??? for code that is in-conflict. I am not really sure why it shows me the deleted code, but I do know that I don't want to see it. Seeing lines of code that were removed in a window that is "the results" doesn't make any sense; and, it makes it harder to read the. Is there a way to hide the deleted code in that "results" window so only the text that is actually going to be in the file, shows up? I have read the manual (cursively) and I didn't see anything in there that indicated how to accomplish this (seemingly insignificant) task.

  Hello, I have a problem with a html select object and its options in IE. My html <select id="Select1" onchange="closeMenu1(this.value)"> <option></option> <option>1</option> <option>2</option> And the javascript function closeMenu1 (x) { var show = document.getElementById("divID"); show.innerHTML = x; } Now, in every browser except the IEs the divID will show up the value which I selected in the select object. But IE doesn’t. Can somebody please tell me a way around that? Thanks.

  I have encountered strange problem with a three-level context menu. In some situation the sub menu does not show automatically. I have following structure of the menu: * AAA - level 1 * BBB - level 1 * CCC - level 2 * xxx - level 3 * yyy - level 3 * DDD - level 2 * zzz - level 3 * vvv - level 3 I start from a menu with two option AAA and BBB. After I move the cursor over BBB the second-level menu appears with two other options CCC and DDD. So far OK. Now, when I quickly move the cursor over DDD the third-level sub menu does not show up, but when I move the cursor back to CCC the sub menu shows up, and when I go back to DDD then the sub menu also shows. Why it does not show at first time? Have you ever encountered such a problem? I fixed the problem with MouseEnter and MouseLeave events, but I still wonder why it does not work properly without the events.

But my problem is, my page has multiple link_button and blueflip div's all over the page. when i click any one of link_button all of the blueflip div's are toggling. • Hide TabControl buttons to manage multiple panels stacked

  I need to handle multiple panels, containing variuous data masks. Each panel shall be visible using a TreeView control. At this time, I handle the panels visibility manually, by making the selected one visible and bring it on top. Actually this is not much confortable, especially in the UI designer, since when I add a brand new panel I have to resize every panel and then design it... A good solution would be using a TabControl, and each panel is contained in a TabPage. But I cannot find any way to hide the TabControl buttons, since I already have a TreeView for selecting items. Another solution would be an ipotethic "StackPanelControl", where the Panels are arranged using a stack, but I couldn't find it anywhere. What's the best solution to handle this kind of UI?

How can I hide the embedded static key in my client and server application so that they are not easily extracted and thus allowing someone to decode my session key.

  I'm building a WSS site which has to show SVG files stored on WSS. I'm trying to use <object> tag to show it and it doesn't show, however, if I use <embed> it works ok. Im'using IE8 and IE7 I've been reading and everyone tells IE prefers <Object> over <embed>, but in WSS it doesn't work this way.   Basically I have a Segmented Controller on my NavBar right in the middle. What I want to be able to do is hide the Segmented Controller and add a title to the navigation bar. But with my code, the segmented controller is being hidden, but the title will not add, thus leaving a blank NavBar. How can I get these lower level descendants to show up? I imagine recursion is necessary somewhere, but where?

  Hi I have created the following effects on the images seen here http://techavid.com/design/test3.html . You see when you hover and then click on each image, they go from grey to color. When you click on one - the others go grey and the one clicked remains color. That's cool, but now I need the text 1st: Sun for example to display and hide along with its graphic button. The word "Sun," is a link that needs to link out to a URL so it has to be separated from the image effect code. What jquery or javascript code do I need to do this? thanks, jonah p.s.   Hi All I am working in linux and I don't know why using python and matplotlib commands draws me only once the chart I want. The first time I call show() the plot is drawn, wihtout any problem, but not the second time and the following. I close the window showing the chart between the two calls.   I am using the jquery tabs . It shows up fine in Safari and firefox, however it will not load correct in IE. They show up as bullet points in stead of tabs. • Java - Loading dlls by a relative path and hide them inside a jar

  Hi guys, I am developing a Java application that should be release as a jar. This program depends on c++ external libraries called by JNI. To load them, I use the method System.load with an absolute path and this works fine. However, I really want to "hide" them inside the jar, so I have created a package to collect them. This forces me to load an relative path - the package path. By this approach, I let the user run the jar in any directory, without being worried about linking the dll's or bored with a previous installation process. This throws the expected exception: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: Expecting an absolute path of the library How can I get this working? Thanks for your help!
