  • Prevent <xsi:nil="true"> on Nullable Value Types when Serializing to XML.

    I have added some nullable value types to my serializable class. I perform a serialization using XmlSerializer but when the value is set to null, I get an empty node with xsi:nil="true". This is the correct behaviour as I have found here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ybce7f69%28VS.80%29.aspx Is there a way to switch off this option so that nothing is output when the value type is null?

    Hi All, I have a JAR on the build path of a medium sized Java application and I would like to know where it's used. At the most basic level if someone could tell me how to 'Find References' for a Jar that would be great. Whilst I'm looking at dependencies it would be great to find a tool that would map all of my package / external library usages and graph them.     Is there a good way to get Facebook Connect onto a Silverlight page? All I really need is simple authorization/registration. I've looked into the facebook developer toolkit, but the documentation is more or less non-existent for Silverlight, and I didn't really get anywhere with it. Is there a good tutorial or a working library for adding Facebook Connect into a Silverlight app? Or is the best way to run Silverlight in Windowwless mode with HTML overlayed on top?

  • Can one read a remote file as an istream with libcurl?

    I'd like to use the libcurl library to open a remote date file and iterate through it with an istream. I've looked through the nice example in this thread but it writes the remote file to a local file. Instead I'd like to have the remote reads be pushed to an istream for subsequent programmatic manipulation. Is this possible? I would greatly appreciate help. Best, Aaron

    I need to sort a 2 dimensional array of doubles on multiple columns using either C or C++. Could someone point me to the algorithm that I should use or an existing library (perhaps boost?) that has this functionality?     The default output of File.toURL() is file:/c:/foo/bar These don't appear to work on windows, and need to be changed to file:///c:/foo/bar Does the format file:/c:/foo/bar work correctly on Unix (I don't have a Unix machine to test on)? Is there a library that can take care of generating a URL from a File that is in the correct format for the current environment?

    Hi, I compiled Detours 64 bit using: {nmake DETOURS_TARGET_PROCESSOR=X64} I'm using it in simple component. The component builds fine in 32 bit. But in 64 bit I am getting following linker errors: {unresolved external symbol DetourAttach} {unresolved external symbol DetourFindFunction} {unresolved external symbol DetourDetach} {unresolved external symbol DetourTransactionCommit} {...} I have correctly set the linker directories and library options in the component VC++ project file. Please help me to resolve this issue.

  • Refresh SWC in FlexBuilder after publishing

    I am using a SWC that was published from Flash CS3 in an Actionscript project in FlexBuider. The problem is that every time I make a change and re-publish the SWC the changes I made are not immediately recognized back in FlexBuilder. In order to have newly published SWC recognized I have to remove the reference to the SWC from the library path and then add it back again. This is tedious. Is there a better way?
