    Hello, Please see: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like I successfully integrated a [Like] button in my website using this link. On the developers website, when I click the [Like] button, a popup appears telling this: You like this. Share it on Facebook with a comment... [ ] [Post to Facebook] [Cancel] On my website, there is no such popup. I tested both iframe and FBML versions. Does anyone has a solution, or is this feature only reserved for www.facebook.com ?   • Checking Selected Radio Button after POST

    I've been using ASP.NET controls which perform a lot of the manual for you. But I'm going back to the basics, what everyone else does. I'm using standard input tags. So for example if I have a radio button group and I select a button. When the form submits and does a POST back to whatever action="MyPage.aspx" then to grab and check the radio button's value that was selected is it always done like this below? <label><input type="radio" name="rbGroup" value='<%# ((Action)Container.DataItem).ID %>'/><%# ((Action)Container.DataItem).Name %></label> So here I'm appending the ID to the value. And then when it hits the page that my action specifies, I'm checking to see which was selected by trimming off and getting that ID from the value: string selection = Request.Form["rbGroup"]; string dbRecordIdSelected = int.Parse(selection.Substring(1)); so now I can check the id they selected...that is the ID of the db record that gave that selected radio it's name. Is that how you basically always check what radio was selected by checking the name/value pair that comes across for that selected radioButton group name? And then you can append stuff like IDs or whatever you want to grab and parse out to then do additional logic on the server-side once that header reaches the server and your specified page in the action attribute? The above code is not production code, just something to explain what I'm talking about.

It should center no matter the resolution. Using XHTML 1.0 Strict. Should work on all major browsers or at least Firefox and chrome.

I want the lime colored border to go totally around the white central area without increasing the height of the ft or hd divs. How do I achieve that?     I have a drop down menu that I want to have selected on page load. This is what I'm using at the moment: var selector = document.getElementById("action_person").firstChild; var n = 0; while(selector.options[n] != null) { if(selector.options[n].value == "person") { selector.options.selectedIndex = n; } n++; } I've also tried replacing selector.options.selectedIndex = n with selector.options[n].selected = true. However, it never selects for me. It always shows the item at the top of the drop down. I've verified that the value "person" does exist in the drop down, and that the variable "selector" does point to a valid drop down. What am I doing wrong here?

    I'm looking to play a flash video hosted on a remote website. I've tried the following (and profuse google-ing): In source of page on http://fakesite1.com/player.jsp: <embed src = "FlashPlayer.swf?file=http://fakesite2.net/video.flv" /> I can browse to http://fakesite2.net/video.flv and ensure it's there, but the player comes back "movie not loaded" (on right-click) on fakesite1. My initial guess is that this might be some sort of security feature... is it possible to play a video hosted on a remote site?

  • Why are IE6 and IE7 not completely showing this div?

    I'm having problems in IE6 and 7 with a div that doesn't complete the bottom padding that is attributed to it, so doesn't appear to finish the div down to the white content area like required. Here's the coded homepage with the problem. http://qwibbledesigns.co.uk/preview/Softwear/ The div house's this content: Services : Design, Xhtml, Css, Flash Client : Newsletter Entrepeneur I've tried display it as all sorts, clearing the div, and so on.     Hi, so I've got this content loader that replaces content within a div with content from a separate page. But the content that arrives contains a menu that uses jQuery and this is not working. Someone told me I need to reinitialize the code. But how do I do that?     Hi Stackoverflow, I'm building a website where I'm using jQuery to animate a horizontal tabbed menu. What I want to achieve can be seen here: / link removed / If you hover/mouseover the "Link 1" tab, you'll see that a white div is expanding. Each of the tab menu items are a styled li-tag. What I want to do is, that when you hover/mouseover i.e. the "Link 2" tab, the white div contracts and then expands again with content related to "Link 2" instead of "Link 1". Also, the "Link 1" tab should be expanded by default (i.e. when you just entered the site) Does any of you jQuery ninjas out there know how to do this? A way to select in any page, all elements with no children. Any suggestion ? Sorry, I forgot to add the "empty" part, I am actually already using the *:empty selector, but it's not working for any tag that has a nodeText as a child. So it's working for any input, image, object, but not for h2, h1, or any p.

    I'm having trouble with the alignment of two images on the footer of my temporary website (http://www.rotimioyewole.com). I'm new to the YUI grid, which I think may be a factor. It should look roughly like this (works correctly in Chrome and Safari, haven't tested IE yet): (http://cl.ly/44fH) But on FF and Opera look like this: http://cl.ly/44aO If I can have some sort of consistency then the website would at least be presentable. Ideally, I would also like to align both images on the same Y axis, as well as the text next to the icons. I had trouble figuring out how to search for a solution..can anybody help me?
