My problem is I don't understand how to get the submit button to select the currently selected query and run it.     I am using Jquery datepicker plugin and my requirement is I want to allow user to select Month and Year when he click on the Header say 'May 2010'. I want to make the Header say 'May 2010' of datepicker as a link and when he clicks on it, it should display a small div or option to select month and year with Apply and close buttons and when he click on apply the dat picker should change with the selected month and year. And then written a code referring the above site. Now my button names are "Browser Button" and "Media Button". On click of any one of the button i should able to launch the respective application.     I have both Fruityloops and Propellerheads Reason software synths on my Windows PC. Any way I can get at and script these from either Visual Basic or Python? Or at least send Midi messages to the synths from code? Update : attempts to use something like a "midi-mapper" (thanks for link MusiGenesis) don't seem to work. I don't think Reason or FL Studio act like standard GM Midi synths. Update 2 : If you're interested in this question, check out this too.
