  I have a asp.net mvc application with NHibernate and I do not know how to resolve a problem to query some data. I want to set a specific tab page to show on load of the form everytime i load the form I used TabPageControl1.SelectedTab=MyTabPage; but the value of selectedtab is null.   Hi all, I am calling a service which has the following annotation: @Transactional(rollbackFor=ExceptionA.class) public void myMethodA(....) throws ExceptionA { . . } I am calling this method from an other method in another Spring Bean. @Transactional(rollbackFor=ExceptionB.class) public void mainEntryPointMethod(....) throws ExceptionB { . try { myMethodA() } catch (ExceptionA exp) { . } . } My problem is that if myMethodA throws an exception, my transaction (which is passed from mainEntryPointMethod - myMethodA by default propagation) will be marked for rollback. • char '0x8' what character is this?

  I have a large amount of data in a database. When I attempt to read a certain portion of the data and generate some xml and send it to a webservice I get the following exception... The char '0x8' in 'java.lang.IllegalArgumentException'. I'm guessing it is some bad data, as it has worked perfectly for about 7 months but now some user uploaded some new data that seems to have some issues. Anyone know what character this is so I can just run a sql query and clean it from the db? Thanks in advance.

However, I am getting a "Unhandled exception at 0x01151cd7 in Bla.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation writing location 0x011557a4." error. The two indexes (left and right) are within the limit of the array.   Hello all, I am using Linq 2 Sql in VS 2010, and I have the following stored procedure to check a username and password ALTER PROCEDURE dbo.CheckUser ( @username varchar(50), @password varchar(50) ) AS SELECT * FROM Users Where UserName=@username AND Password=@password The problem I'm having is that it throws an exception if the username and password are incorrect. I'd like to perform a check to see if there is a return value, rather than using try/catch to determine whether the procedure returned a value. Should I do this check in code (C#)?   When creating a form, you can define a bunch of methods, clean_xyz, to make sure the data gets forced into the correct format. Is there any way to do this on a model level? Perhaps I can override the field setters somehow? I want it so that if I write something like my_address.postal_code = 'a1b2c3' It will automatically get formatted into A1B 2C3. Perhaps throw an exception if it can't be converted. That way I know I'll never have any malformed data in the database.

Normaly you can call getName() but it's forbidden in btrace-scripts (any calls exception BTraceUtils). Is there any idea how to get String from char[]. I want to create a collection of SubCourse objects (Set), fill it and then bind it to setSubCourses() of Course object. Though, having ManyToOne thing in a Subcourses table, I need to manually setCourse() before adding to collection on each object. If I do not do so, an exception is raised. What can you recommend me?
