    All, I am proposing the addition of code obfuscation to the standard build process at my organization. One of the questions being asked is whether there is a performance hit to running obfuscated code vs. running unobfuscated code. What is your experience?   • NHibernate requires events to be virtual?

    I'm attempting to map an entity hierarchy using NHibernate almost all of which have events. When attempting to build a session factory however, I get error messages similar to the following: Core.Domain.Entities.Delivery: method remove_Scheduled should be virtual Delivery is an entity in my domain model with an event called Scheduled. Since events cannot be declared virtual I'm at a loss as to how to proceed here. Why would NHibernate need events to be virtual?

    http://www.sofa-framework.org/ looking for other similar medical simulation software that have easier API for programming, better documentation and more active user interactive help forum. the goal is to do virtual design. I want to design something that can simulate a pipe pumping with haptic devices, but I couldn't get Sofa to work with my phantom device in their UI, and I can't use their API to build my stuff either. it's hard to get things going with slow support. thx for the help

  • Can I rename Main.mxml?

    We have several Flash objects included in our project. We call each one a specific type of widget... For readability/debugging purposes I'd like to rename Main.mxml to something else. At first this seemed easy, as it would be just a setting in our maven configuration (we're using flex mojos to build our swf). However; changing the sourceFile from Main.mxml to MyWidget.mxml doesn't seem to do it. Any thoughts?

Looking at the MPI implementation files such as MPICH2 and Open MPI, I see no mpic++ included at all. Where can I find mpic++?

    I'm trying to build a basic POP3 mail client in C/++, but I've run into a bit of an issue. Since you have to define the buffer size when building the program, but a message can be arbitrarily large, how do you, say, get the mail server to send it to you in parts? And if this isn't the correct means of solving the problem, what is? And while I'm here, can anyone confirm for me that RFC 2822 is still the current document defining email layout? Thanks

When the application is executed, if the code path that has "_asm int 3" is encountered Visual Studio Debugger used to get lauched and I could debug the problems.     I'm developing an iPhone application. I have an EXC_BAD_ACCESS that occurs only in the release target; when I build the debug target the exception does not occur. However, when I set the NSZombieEnabled environment variable to YES, I still get the EXC_BAD_ACCESS with no further information. Is it even possible for NSZombieEnabled to work when executing the release target? I don't see why not, since gdb is running in both cases...

I'd like to create a website that is the exact copy of another website (I do not own but I know will let me do this) where I change a few things, mainly swap images and hide some divs..
