    I just upgraded my slime using elpa in Emacs. But I wonder if things are like they should be now, because when I removed the old version using elpa, it complained it could not remove a certain folder. So, when I start up Emacs (I know, I shouldn't have closed it), how I can see which slime version actually gets used? Is there a command like M-x slime-version ?

    Hi, when running a Java application as service with the user 'LocalService', the temp directory ("java.io.tmpdir") points to 'c:/windows/temp' (for example). Running a Java application normally gives 'c:/documents and settings/user/local settings/temp' instead. Could someone help me find a function which will return a FILE* and use the Windows specific version of mkdir in order to create the folder structure for fopen to never fail to open a new file in the specified location because one of the folders does not exist. Great that works If I place "£" in the string, or use [currencyStyle stringFromNumber] the text file will not be created. The "£" and the [currencyStyle stringFromNumber] works if the information is printed to a "New View" page on the simulator, pound and all Can someone please explain what's happening?

    I have created a project using the following maven webapp project in eclipse: When adding a package to the project (right click project - new - package), the package gets added as a folder (I added a package named core). It does not have the usual package icon: If I try to create a new class and select a package, there are no entries in the list box. I have tried creating packages in a normal eclipse dynamic web project and these work correctly. How do I get packages in Maven enabled webapp projects?

    I recently just changed my domain destination from the root (./) to (./Permias). Before I just did a website copy from visual studio to ./. So after changing my domain destination to ./Permias, I moved everything inside the Permias folder. But now when I tried to access the site it is as it's not there. What am I doing wrong? It just says the resouce cannot be found.

    Hi, Does anyone know if it is possible to encode a video using ffmpeg in reverse? (So the resulting video plays in reverse?) I think I can by generating images for each frame (so a folder of images labelled 1.jpg, 2.jpg etc), then write a script to change the image names, and then re-encode the ivdeo from these files. Does anyone know of a quicker way? This is an FLV video. Thank you

    hello i installed ubuntu using wubit inside the windows and started working on it then i got this error afer updating [0.8879153] kernel panic -not syncing VFS unable to mount fs unknow block (8.3) and i can't user rescue mode and it's give me another error no filesystem could mount root ..... i looked at grub folder and didn' find any file on disks/boot/grub/ so i tryed to user super grub to fix it but it didn' work and it keep giving me. any idea plz .
