• Better Alternative to Telerik Draggable Panel ?

  When putting a video in a Telerik Draggable Panel, when dragging the panel, on Firefox the video restart all over again because DOM is reconstructed. They don't seem to have an answer to this. Also we can't seem to be able to control the z-index as it doesn't take into account: when moving the panel over other telerik controls, the video slips under. So any other draggable panel that wouldn't have these annoyances ? Telerik doesn't seem to give any answer so we're afraid we're stuck and we cannot afford to wait longer. Currently think about using Yahoo UI.

  Hi guys, I have started to work on a site without url rewriting. Now, the request is to use friendly urls so i started to use Intelligencia.UrlRewriter. So no longer return "~/Site/Categorii.aspx?category=m1" but "~/Site/Categorii/m1" without beeing needed to modify its structure? I mean, i have about 30 methods like the one from the above; it would be extremely helpfull if i can be guided to use a regex at the output of the methods iso modifying the url construction... • How to make a table view which can be scrolled for ever?

  I have a set of 100 rows, pretty similar to values which can be selected in a picker. When the user scrolls the table, I want the rows to be appended like an forever-ongoing assembly-belt. So when the user scrolls down and reaches the row 100, and scrolls even further, the table view will show again row 1, and so on. Reverse direction same thing. My thoughts: don't display scroll indicators (they would make not much sense, probably) what value to return in the numberOfRows delegate method? This infinity constant? in cellForRowAtIndexPath: simply wrap the index around when it exceeds bounds?

• Does Google crawl AJAX content?

  On the home page of my site I use JQuery's ajax function to pull down a list of recent activity of users. The recent activity is displayed on the page, and each line of the recent activity includes a link to the user profile of the user who did the activity. Will Google actually make the ajax call to pull down this info and use it in calculating page relevancy / link juice flow? I'm hoping that it does not because the user profile pages are not very Google index worthy, and I don't want all those links to the User profile pages diluting my home page's link juice flow away from other more important links.

  Hello All, I'm trying to familiarize myself with Facebook's new Graph API and so far I can fetch and write some data pretty easily. Something I'm struggling to find decent documentation on is uploading images to an album. According to http://developers.facebook.com/docs/api#publishing you need to supply the message argument. But I'm not quite sure how to construct it. • Constructor type not found

  Hello, What I am doing: I am taking the Microsoft Enterprise Library 4.1 and attempting to expand upon it using a few derived classes. I have created a MyLogEntry, MyFormatter, and MyTraceListener which derive from their respective base classes when you remove the "My" from their names. What my problem is: Everything compiles fine. When I go to run a test using Logger.Write(logEntry) it errors right after it initializes MyTraceListener with an error message: "The current build operation (... EnterpriseLibrary.Logging.LogWriter, null]) failed: Constructor on type 'MyLogging.MyFormatter' not found. (Strategy type ConfiguredObjectStrategy, index 2) I figured it was something to do with the constructor so I tried removing it, add it, and adding a call to the base class LogFormatter. Nothing has worked. Does anyone have insight into this problem? Is it maybe a reference issue? Bad App.config configuration? Thank you in advance

• saving a records containing a member of type string to a file (Delphi, Windows)

  I have a record that looks similar to: type TNote = record Title : string; Note : string; Index : integer; end; Simple. The reason I chose to set the variables as string (as opposed to an array of chars) is that I have no idea how long those strings are going to be. They can be 1 char long, 200 or 2000. Of course when I try to save the record to a type file (file of...) the compiler complains that I have to give a size to string. Is there a way to overcome this? or a way to save those records to an untyped file and still maintain a sort of searchable way? Please do not point me to possible solutions, if you know the solution please post code. Thank you

Graphviz (http://www.graphviz.org/) Boost Graph Library (http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_42_0/libs/graph/doc/index.html) Lemon (http://lemon.cs.elte.hu/trac/lemon) igraph (http://igraph.sourceforge.net/introduction.html) What it should do: draw a undirected network map come as header only or static lib for Windows the output format should be user editable Graphviz is the only one I tried so far, but I found no static lib for it, I failed to build it by my own and the documentation could be better.   I have been going mad trying to figure out why my scripts weren't working, until I started copying and pasting sample source code directly from a few websites only to have it fail there as well. I am getting the following error in my VBScripts: C:\temp\vbs\script.vbs(19, 53) Microsoft VBScript compilation error: Expected statement' For a line of code that looks like this: wdoc.Application.Selection.Find.Execute Replace:=wdReplaceAll This is interfacing with Microsft Word in Office 2007 to conduct a search and replace. Index 53 point directly to the := part of the assignment. Since this type of syntax doesn't work on my machine and I am using it from several websites, I was wondering if the cscript.exe I use is out of date. Am I not calling cscript properly?

• Searching a 2D array for a range of values in java

  I have a 2^n size int array and I want to check if an element exists that is greater than 0. If the element exists, I want to divide the array by 4 and check if the coordinates of the found element are in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th quadrant of the array. For example, logically if the element exists in the first quadrant it would look something like this: If array[][] 0 && the row of that coordinate is in the range 0-(grid.length/2-1) && the column of that coordinate is in the range 0-(grid.length/2-1) then do something. I'm really not sure how to check the row and column index of the found element and store those coordinates to use in my if statement. Help!

• DBCC CHECKDB WITH DATA_PURITY gives out of range error

  Hi there, I have restore a SQL Server 2000 database onto SQL Server 2005 and then run DBCC CHECKDB WITH DATA_PURITY and I get this error: Msg 2570, Level 16, State 3, Line 2 Page (1:19558), slot 13 in object ID 181575685, index ID 1, partition ID 293374720802816, alloc unit ID 11899744092160 (type "In-row data"). Column "NumberOfShares" value is out of range for data type "numeric". Update column to a legal value. The column NumberOfShares is a numeric (19,6) data type. If I run the following select max (NumberOfShares) from AUDIT_Table select min (NumberOfShares) from AUDIT_Table I get: 22678647.839110 -1845953000.000000 These values are inside the bounds of a numeric (19,6) so I'm not sure why the DBCC check fails. Any ideas to find out why it fails? Do I need to use DBCC PAGE? How would you troubleshoot this? Thanks, Mark.

  Hello, I have a problem with the IE (what else?): I generate content with CSS which has also a background-image. I looks like that: #nav ul li:after { content: "--"; position: relative; z-index: 99; background: transparent url(image.png); color: transparent; } The text color is in non-IE-browsers transparent, but in all IE browsers it's black and you could see it. How could I make the text transparent/unvisible? I tried already: visibility - opacity - filter - text-indent ... But none did his job right, either it disappears (with it background which I need) or the attribute doesn't apply.

  I am sanitizing an input field and manually getting and setting the caret position in the process. With some abstraction, here's the basic idea: <input type="text" onkeyup"check(this)"> And javascript... function check(element) { var charPosition = getCaretPosition(element); $(element).val( sanitize( $(element).val() ) ); setCaretPosition(element, charPosition); } function sanitize(s) { return s.replace(/[^a-zA-Z0-9\s]/g, ''); } This is working fine except when a character does actually get sanitized, my caret position is off by one. Basically I'd like a way to see if the sanitize function has actually replaced a character (and at what index) so then I can adjust the charPosition if necessary. Any ideas?

As we know Int PK has better performance rather than strings. So SQL server execution plan with INNER JOINS are pretty different Here is an execution plan. As i understand according with execution plan from attached image Int join has better performance because it is taking less resources for Clustered index scan and it is go in two ways, am i right? May be some one may explain this execution plan in more details?
